WMLP (1380 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Milton, Pennsylvania. The station is owned by the Michael Radio Company, LLC, headed by Vic Michael. It broadcasts a conservative talk radio format. Most of programming is from the Salem Radio Network, also carrying The Mark Levin Show from Westwood One. By day, WMLP is powered at 1,000 watts non-directional. But at night, to protect other stations on 1380 AM from interference, WMLP greatly reduces power to 18 watts. Programming is also heard on 99-watt FM translator W233CP at 94.5 MHz.

Central Oak Heights is an association of cottage owners on 45 acres (0.22 km2) of wooded land in Kelly Township, Union County, Pennsylvania in the United States. It was founded in 1909 as a religious campground and retreat by the Bible Conference Society of Central Pennsylvania of the United Evangelical Church. Ownership of the land passed through several churches when in 1946, the Evangelical Church merged with the United Brethren in Christ at a meeting in Johnstown, PA to form the Evangelical United Brethren Church. This body, in turn, united with the American Methodist Church in 1968 to form the United Methodist Church. The Central Oak Heights Association, a non-profit corporation founded in 1987, took over ownership of the land in 1990. Although no longer affiliated in an official capacity with the United Methodist Church, a great majority of the cottage owners are members of United Methodist Church. The grounds of Central Oak Heights are traditionally open during the summer months only, beginning with Memorial Day in late May and closing soon after Labor Day weekend in early September. But the official opening is April 15 and the grounds close for the winter on October 15. Most of the cottages are privately owned and occupied during the summer months by the owners. There are several cottages and dozens of rustic cabins that are available to rent. Also available to rent, is the Shaffer Building, a large dormitory style building, a dining hall, The Tabernacle an open air church with auditorium style seating and roff, Sylvan Chapel a chapel in the woods near the cabins, a swimming pool and two picnic pavilions.

Col. James Cameron House is a historic home located at West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. It was built in four sections; a 2+1⁄2-story, formal brick section and a 1+1⁄2-story, brick kitchen were built between 1840 and 1842; a 2-story, brick addition was built about 1860; and a 1-story, wood-frame kitchen addition sometime in the mid- to late-19th century. It is in a vernacular Federal style. An Italianate style porch was added to the 2-story, brick section about 1860. Also on the property is a contributing outbuilding dated to the mid-19th century. The property was vested with the Milton Historical Society in 1981.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

West Milton is a census-designated place located in Kelly and White Deer Townships in Union County in the state of Pennsylvania. The community is located directly across the West Branch Susquehanna River from the borough of Milton which is located in Northumberland County, from which West Milton derived its name. West Milton is located along U.S. Route 15, a few miles south of the community of New Columbia. Between Milton and West Milton, in the river is Montgomery Island where Milton State Park is located. As of the 2010 census the population was 900 residents.

Milton State Park is an 82 acres (33 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Milton in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The park is on Montgomery Island in the West Branch Susquehanna River, just east of the village of West Milton in Union County. Milton State Park is on Pennsylvania Route 642.

Limestone Run is a tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River, in Montour County and Northumberland County, in Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is 8.8 miles (14.2 km) long and flows through Limestone Township in Montour County and Turbot Township and Milton in Northumberland County. The watershed has an area of 11.6 square miles (30 km2). Slightly under 2,500,000 pounds (1,100,000 kg) of sediment flow through the stream annually. The stream's watershed is in the ridge and valley physiographic province. The watershed of Limestone Run is mostly agricultural. However, other land uses in the stream's watershed include forests, developed land, wetlands, and coal mines. Several mills in Milton and Turbot Township historically drew their power from Limestone Run. The Pennsylvania Canal and Limestone Run Aqueduct also crossed the stream in Milton. Major floods of the stream include one in August 1817 and one in June 1972. The stream's watershed is designated as a Warmwater Fishery and a Migratory Fishery.

Slifer House, also known as the Administration Building-Evangelical Home, is an historic, American home that is located in Kelly Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Pennsylvania Canal and Limestone Run Aqueduct is an historic, American aqueduct complex that is located in Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Milton Freight Station is an historic, American freight station that is located in Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. It was built by the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad in 1883. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Milton Armory is a historic National Guard armory located at Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. It was designed by W.G. Wilkins Co. It was built in 1922 and expanded in 1930. It is a "T"-plan building consisting of a two-story administration building with a one-story drill hall executed in the Tudor Revival style. It is constructed of brick and sits on a concrete foundation. It features stone window and door surrounds.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Buffalo Creek is a tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River in Union County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 28.5 miles (45.9 km) long and flows through Hartley Township, Lewis Township, West Buffalo Township, Mifflinburg, Buffalo Township, Kelly Township, and Lewisburg. Its watershed has an area of 134 square miles (350 km2). It is in the ridge-and-valley province of the Appalachian Mountains. Some streams and parts of streams in the creek's watershed are high-quality cold-water fisheries. There are ten types of rock formations and eight types of soil series in the watershed. The forests in the Buffalo Creek watershed are mostly deciduous hardwood, hemlock, and pine. The waters of Buffalo Creek are slightly acidic, with a pH ranging between 5.0 and 6.7. Metals such as magnesium have been observed in the waters. Nonmetals in the water include dissolved oxygen, calcium carbonate, suspended solids, and phosphorus. The etymology of Buffalo Creek is unknown. No buffalo have ever been definitely observed on the creek, although there are rumors about old buffalo wallows. Buffalo Township, Buffalo Valley, and Buffalo Mountain are all named after the creek. Historical industries in the watershed included mills and timbering, but livestock raising and agriculture are more common in the 21st century.
