Onchan Head railway station

Port Jack Halt (Manx: Stadd Phurt Coon) is the name of the first official stopping place on the Manx Electric Railway on the Isle of Man and is situated a short distance from the terminus.

Derby Castle Depôt is the main location of workshops and running sheds of the Manx Electric Railway on the Isle of Man and lies at the northerly end of the promenade at Douglas; it takes its name from the adjoining site which was once home to the Earls of Derby, rulers of the island, and later extended to form an entertainment complex of the same name before being demolished and replaced by the ill-fated Summerland complex in 1968.

Onchan Village Hall is one of eleven buildings in the Isle of Man known to have been built by Baillie Scott. The Scottish architect and designer then resident on the Isle of Man had won the commission for the building through a design competition held by Onchan Commissioners for the proposed new hall. The building was constructed in 1897-8 and it is still in regular use today.

The Summerland disaster occurred when a fire spread through the Summerland leisure centre in Douglas on the Isle of Man on the night of 2 August 1973. 50 people were killed and 80 seriously injured. The scale of the fire has been compared to those seen during the Blitz.

Onchan (; Manx: Kione Droghad) is a village in the parish of Onchan on the Isle of Man. It is at the north end of Douglas Bay. Administratively a district, it has the second largest population of settlements on the island, after Douglas, with which it forms a conurbation. In Manx the name for the village is Kione Droghad meaning "bridge end".

Majestic Halt (Manx: Stadd Mooaralagh) is a request stop on the Manx Electric Railway on the Isle of Man and is the third stopping place on the line.

Onchan ( ONK-ən; Manx: Connaghyn), historically Kirk Conchan, is one of the seventeen historic parishes of the Isle of Man. It is located on the east of the island (part of the traditional South Side division) in the sheading of Middle, though before 1796 it was in the sheading of Garff.Administratively, part of the historic parish of Onchan is now covered by part of the borough of Douglas, the capital and largest town of the Isle of Man.

Braeside Halt (Manx: Stadd Braeside) is a stopping place on the Manx Electric Railway on the Isle of Man and is located on the first section of the inter-urban line a short distance from its southernmost terminus.

Far End Halt (Manx: Stadd Far End) is a stopping place on the Manx Electric Railway on the Isle of Man and is located on the climb towards the line's first summit.

Derby Castle Terminus (Manx: Kione Stashoon Chashtal Derby) is the southern terminus of the Manx Electric Railway. It is located on the north side of Douglas, Isle of Man; Douglas Station on the Isle of Man Railway is located on the south side of town, with the MER station being termed "Derby Castle" to differentiate between the two.

Douglas High School Old Boys A.F.C. (DHSOB AFC) are a football club from Onchan on the Isle of Man. They compete in the Isle of Man Football League and wear a blue and white kit. They play their home games at Blackberry Lane in Onchan.

The Metropole Internment Camp was a World War II internment camp in Douglas, Isle of Man. Officially known as “S” Camp, it was predominantly for Italians and was in existence from July 1940 until November 1944.
