Long Beach is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Calvert County, Maryland, United States. Its population was 1,821 as of the 2010 census. Prior to 2010, the community was part of the Calvert Beach-Long Beach CDP.

Morgan Hill Farm, also known as Morgan's Fresh or Hill Farm, is a historic home located at Lusby, Calvert County, Maryland. It is a 1+1⁄2-story gable-roofed frame house of a T-shaped plan, with single exterior chimneys on each of the three exposed ends. The original building appears to have been built about 1700, with extensively remodeled in the early 19th century. In 1952 a large rear wing was added to the house. Outbuildings include a one-story log servants' quarter, a log smokehouse, and a large tobacco barn. Phillip Morgan received the original land grant in 1651, under the name Morgan's Fresh. Morgan, a captain in the Puritan Militia and a locally prominent man, and sold the property in 1670 to Robert Day. In 1836 the property was sold by Day's descendants to Richard Breeden, who was probably responsible for the extensive renovations made to the house in the early 19th century and renamed the property Hill Farm.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

St. Leonard is a census-designated place (CDP) in Calvert County, Maryland, United States. The population was 742 at the 2010 census. Residents of the Calvert Beach and Long Beach communities also use the St. Leonard ZIP code designation. St. Leonard has a large antique dealer complex.

Middleham Chapel is a historic Episcopal church located in Lusby, Calvert County, Maryland. It is a one-story, cruciform, Flemish bond brick structure with exposed fieldstone foundations. It was built in 1748, to replace an earlier frame or log structure believed to have been erected as early as 1684, as a Chapel of Ease of Christ Church Parish. The date of construction is worked into the brick on the front of the church.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.Middleham Chapel is still in use today. In 1900 it joined with nearby St. Peter's Chapel to form Middleham and St. Peter's Episcopal Parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland. The parish's current rector is the Rev. David Showers.

Wallville is an unincorporated community located along MD 265 in Calvert County, Maryland, United States. The Patterson's Archeological District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Calvert Cliffs State Park is a public recreation area in Lusby, Calvert County, Maryland, that protects a portion of the cliffs that extend for 24 miles along the eastern flank of the Calvert Peninsula on the west side of Chesapeake Bay from Chesapeake Beach southward to Drum Point. The state park is known for the abundance of mainly Middle Miocene sub-epoch fossils that can be found on the shoreline.

Cove Point LNG Terminal is an offshore liquid natural gas shipping terminal operated by BHE GT&S, a Berkshire Hathaway Energy company. It is located near Lusby, Maryland, United States, on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay, and exports liquefied natural gas (LNG) and also stores gas. LNG is exported on specially designed ships known as LNG carriers. The shipping dock (38.402°N 76.384°W / 38.402; -76.384 (Dominion Cove Point LNG shipping dock)) is located about 2.3 kilometres (1.4 mi) from the plant's storage tanks (38.389°N 76.408°W / 38.389; -76.408) and is connected by pipes in an underwater tunnel. The site also contains a liquefaction plant. BHE GT&S has full operational control of the facility, sharing its 25% ownership with Dominion Energy (50%) and Brookfield Infrastructure Partners (25%), investing through its Super Core-infrastructure fund. In July 2023, Berkshire Hathaway Energy agreed to acquire a further 50% stake in the venture for $3.3 billion in cash. After that, Buffett's company will own 75%. 25% stay with Brookfield.By August 2022, Cove Point had safely loaded 300 commercial cargo for export since exporting began in Spring 2018, reaching 28 countries. Preston-on-the-Patuxent is a historic home located at Johnstown, Calvert County, Maryland, United States. It is a modest 1+1⁄2-story brick house which has had several later additions made to it. While the home has a traditional construction date of about 1651, there is no structural evidence to indicate a date earlier than about 1725. It has been reported by Puritan knowledge that the original Preston home burned down in 1672, to be replaced by the present structure at a later date. Preston-on-the-Patuxent is popularly, if erroneously, known as the seat of the government of Maryland from 1654 to 1657, during the Puritan regime. The belief that the property was the "capital" comes from evidence that the Council, the Assembly, and the Provincial Court met "at Patuxent" in the 1650s. Richard Preston, a participant in each of the three bodies, most probably hosted their meetings in his dwelling located near the Patuxent River.Preston-on-the-Patuxent was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Port Republic is a small, rural unincorporated community located at the crossroads of MD routes 2/MD 4, MD 264, MD 509, MD 765, and Parkers Creek Road in Calvert County, Maryland, United States. It is approximately five miles south of Prince Frederick, the county seat of Calvert County. While Port Republic is not incorporated and has no central business district, it nonetheless features several places of note, including historic Christ Episcopal Church, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and a restored one room school building. The annual Calvert County Jousting Tournament is held the last Saturday in August on the grounds of Christ Church, and was featured in a 2005 edition of ESPN's SportsCenter's "50 States in 50 Days" feature. The former College of Southern Maryland campus at Port Republic was relocated in 2005 to Prince Frederick. Residential communities located in Port Republic include Governors' Run, Kenwood Beach, Scientists' Cliffs, and Western Shores. Port Republic has a post office with the designated ZIP code 20676.
