Savanna High School (SHS) is a public high school in the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD), located in the city of Anaheim, California in the United States. Savanna was established in 1961 and is one of eight comprehensive high schools within the district. The school currently services the Northwest Anaheim region and southeast Buena Park.

Fairmont Preparatory Academy is a private high school located in Anaheim, California. It is one of the campuses of the Fairmont Private Schools system. It has been an IB World School since August 1995.

Philip Ackley Stanton House is a Mission Revival—Spanish Colonial Revival style house in Anaheim, California. It is now within the Fairmont Preparatory Academy. The Spanish Colonial hacienda-style house built in 1929 by Col. Philip A. Stanton. Fairmont Middle and High School (later renamed Fairmont Preparatory Academy) opened in September 1994 on the site of the Stanton estate, which includes the Philip Ackley Stanton House.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 21, 1980.

Cornelia Connelly School of the Holy Child Jesus (Connelly), was a Catholic college-preparatory high school for girls in Anaheim, California, the only such independent school in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange. It operated from 1961 to 2020.At the time of its closure, Connelly enrolled 124 girls, and was accredited to the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and Western Catholic Educational Association among others.

Sarang Community Church of Southern California is a Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) Korean-American church located in Anaheim, California. Sarang has more than 10,000 church attenders. Some statistics estimate about 11,000 members. It is the largest Korean church outside of Korea (Republic of), as well as the largest Asian church outside Asia. In addition, Sarang is the largest congregation within the Presbyterian Church in America. "Sarang" (사랑) is Korean for "love." Sa-Rang Community Church was founded in 1988 by Rev. Oh Jung-hyun. In 2003 Pastor Oh accepted his call to a megachurch in Seoul, Korea of the same name, Sarang Community Church. In 2004, Rev. SeungWook Kim (Daniel Kim) was called from Korean United Church, (PCA) and installed as the new pastor. In 2011, Pastor Kim accepted his call to pastor a church in Korea called Hallelujah Community Church. In 2012, Rev. ChangSoo Roh was called from Korean Central Presbyterian Church, (PCA) and installed as the new pastor.

Little Arabia is an ethnic enclave in western Anaheim, California, the center for Orange County's Arab Americans, who number more than 24,000 (As of 2000). It has been referred to as "Little Gaza" which was a riff on the nearby Garza Island neighborhoods. Little Arabia grew significantly in the 1990s with the arrival of immigrants from the Middle East, and is the home to thousands of Arab Americans predominantly hailing from Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen.The district is centered on Brookhurst Street in Anaheim, near the Santa Ana Freeway (I-5) between La Palma Avenue and Katella Avenue. Businesses include halal butcher shops, beauty salons, jewelry stores, Arabic and Islamic clothings, travel agencies, bakeries, Arab and Armenian restaurants, and hookah cafes. There are also numerous mosques and a few churches in the enclave.

The Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) is a public school district serving portions of the Orange County cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, La Palma, and Stanton. It oversees eight junior high schools (7-8), eight high schools (9-12), and one non-magnet, secondary selective school, Oxford Academy (7-12). Its superintendent, Dr. Elizabeth Novack, was fired in December 2013 without public explanation. The Board of Trustees appointed Michael Matsuda, the district's former BTSA Coordinator who also currently serves as Secretary on the North Orange County Community College District Board of Trustees.The school district has gained brief national notoriety twice: once in 1968 when members of the organization Mothers Organized for Moral Stability, inspired by the information in the pamphlet "Is the School House the Proper Place to Teach Raw Sex?", flooded a school board meeting and demanded that a course in sex education at the school be suspended, and again in 1978 when it banned the novels Silas Marner and Gone with the Wind from the school curriculum. The books and the course have long since been reinstated.

Servite High School is a private, Catholic, all-boys college preparatory high school operated by the Order of Servants of Mary in Anaheim, California. It was founded in 1958. As of 2017 it had about 9000 alumni. Its mascot is the Friar and its colors are black and white, trimmed with gold. It is located within the Diocese of Orange; however, it is not a diocesan school, but is run privately by the Servite Order itself.

Magnolia High School is a public high school in Anaheim, California, located in the Southwest Anaheim region. It is part of the Anaheim Union High School District. The school is named after the nearest major street to the west.

Buena Park Downtown, formerly Buena Park Mall, is an enclosed shopping mall located on La Palma Avenue in Buena Park, California, United States, near Knott's Berry Farm. It is owned by Cirrus Asset Management Inc. As of 2007 it is the 20th largest mall in Orange County, with around 1,100,000 square feet (100,000 m2) of retail space. It has languished in sales, however; at $123 million, it brings in half of other malls its size, such as WP Glimcher's Westminster Mall and Westfield MainPlace.

West Anaheim is a district in Anaheim, California which extends from Euclid Street on the East to the city limits at Cypress on the West. West Anaheim is where most of the residential development occurred during the 1950s and the 1960s, after Disneyland opened in 1955.

Anaheim Island (also known as Anaheim West, Southwest Anaheim, and Garza Island) consists of several unincorporated neighborhoods located east of the city of Anaheim in Orange County, California, United States. Established between the 1910s and 1960s, the neighborhoods are bounded by the cities of Anaheim to the east, north and west, Stanton to the southwest, and Garden Grove to the south. The Orange County Board of Supervisors has referred to these unincorporated areas as "Anaheim Island" while Orange County LAFCO has referred to them variously as "Anaheim West" and "Southwest Anaheim". The Anaheim City Planning Commission refers to the entire area in the singular as the "Garza Island". Some local residents refer to the area as the "Gaza Strip".
