The Bemis Park Landmark Heritage District is located in North Omaha, Nebraska. Situated from Cuming Street to Hawthorne Avenue, Glenwood Avenue to 33rd Street, Bemis Park was annexed into Omaha in 1887, and developed from 1889-1922. The district was designated an Omaha Landmark in 1983.

The Dr. Samuel D. Mercer House was built in 1885 in the historic Walnut Hill neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Samuel Mercer was the chief surgeon of the Union Pacific Railroad, and the founder of Omaha's first hospital.A grand 23-room red brick mansion built in the Queen Anne style, the key feature of the home is a three-story square tower that rises above the south side main entrance. The cost of the structure was $60,000. The home is the crown jewel of the neighborhood Mercer platted in the 1880s. In the 1880s the city's cable cars stopped at the Mercer House. The house has been subdivided into apartments and much of the elaborate Victorian trim was removed in 1926. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

St. Cecilia Cathedral is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha, USA. Located at 701 North 40th Street in the Gold Coast Historic District, the cathedral was ranked as one of the ten largest in the United States when it was completed in 1959. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Lowe Avenue Presbyterian Church was a church in the Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1887, the church was built in 1906 at 1023 N 40th Street in the Walnut Hill neighborhood. Situated on the Southeast corner of 40th and Nicholas Streets, the church was organized on July 3, 1887, by a meeting of the people living near West Hamilton Street. Initiative for the meeting had been taken by a committee appointed for the purpose by the Presbytery of Omaha. Originally, the Church was called the West Hamilton Street Presbyterian Church. Rev. W. J. Palm was the first pastor. The Church held its final worship service on July 5, 2009, after more than 100 years of service to the Omaha Community.

The Walnut Hill Pumping Station, located in the Walnut Hill neighborhood, is part of the Metropolitan Utilities District water system serving the City of Omaha, Nebraska. It occupies four square blocks between 38th and 40th Streets, from Hamilton to Nicholas Streets.

Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, located at 3601 Burt Street in the Midtown area of Omaha, Nebraska, United States, is a Catholic, college-preparatory high school for girls run by the Religious of the Sacred Heart. The institution previously included a college which was operated from 1908 to 1968. Today Duchesne is home to the high school and a co-ed preschool. While it is located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha it is an independent institution.

The Edgar Zabriskie Residence is located at 3524 Hawthorne Avenue in the Bemis Park neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was built in 1889 as one of the first homes in Bemis Park. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and was designated an Omaha Landmark in 1980.

The Orchard Hill is a neighborhood in North Omaha, Nebraska. One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, Orchard Hill is home to some of the city's oldest homes. The neighborhood's boundaries are Hamilton Street on the south, Blondo Street on the north, 36th Street on the east and the Omaha Belt Line on the west. The John A. Creighton Boulevard runs through the eastern part of the neighborhood.

City Sprouts is a community garden, urban farm, and educational resource center in the Orchard Hill neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1995, City Sprouts is the oldest community garden in the city. The organization is registered as a 501(c)(3) not-for profit entity. The stated mission objectives of City Sprouts are: To increase the availability of fresh, locally grown produce To provide employment for at-risk youth To educate the community about healthy lifestyle choices To build communityThrough gardening with City Sprouts, students are provided the opportunity to develop employment skills. The Executive Director of City Sprouts is Roxanne Williams.

Saunders School, located at 415 North 41st Avenue in the Midtown area of Omaha, Nebraska, United States, was declared a landmark by the City of Omaha in 1985, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The George and Sarah Joslyn Home (officially named "Lynhurst," yet known locally as Joslyn Castle), is a mansion located at 3902 Davenport Street in the Gold Coast Historic District of Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Built in the Scottish Baronial style in 1903, the Castle was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. The Gold Coast Historic District is located in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, this historic district covers approximately a 30 block area roughly bounded by 36th, 40th, Jones, and Cuming Streets. The neighborhood housed many of Omaha's cultural and financial leaders between 1900 and 1920, taking over from Omaha's original Gold Coast in prominence.
