The George and Sarah Joslyn Home (officially named "Lynhurst," yet known locally as Joslyn Castle), is a mansion located at 3902 Davenport Street in the Gold Coast Historic District of Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Built in the Scottish Baronial style in 1903, the Castle was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. St. Cecilia Cathedral is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha, USA. Located at 701 North 40th Street in the Gold Coast Historic District, the cathedral was ranked as one of the ten largest in the United States when it was completed in 1959. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Clarkson College is a private college in Omaha, Nebraska focused on the health sciences. The institution was founded in 1888 by Meliora Clarkson following the death of her husband Bishop Robert Clarkson of the Episcopal Church. It is affiliated with Nebraska Medicine. Total student enrollment was 1,178 in fall 2018.

The Dr. Samuel D. Mercer House was built in 1885 in the historic Walnut Hill neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Samuel Mercer was the chief surgeon of the Union Pacific Railroad, and the founder of Omaha's first hospital.A grand 23-room red brick mansion built in the Queen Anne style, the key feature of the home is a three-story square tower that rises above the south side main entrance. The cost of the structure was $60,000. The home is the crown jewel of the neighborhood Mercer platted in the 1880s. In the 1880s the city's cable cars stopped at the Mercer House. The house has been subdivided into apartments and much of the elaborate Victorian trim was removed in 1926. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Pella Lutheran Church was located at 303 South 41st Street between Farnam and Harney Streets in midtown Omaha, Nebraska, between Nebraska Medical Center and Mutual of Omaha's Midtown Crossing. Pella was affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The church closed in 2014. It has been renovated and reopened as a wedding and event venue.

The Gold Coast Historic District is located in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, this historic district covers approximately a 30 block area roughly bounded by 36th, 40th, Jones, and Cuming Streets. The neighborhood housed many of Omaha's cultural and financial leaders between 1900 and 1920, taking over from Omaha's original Gold Coast in prominence.

Lowe Avenue Presbyterian Church was a church in the Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1887, the church was built in 1906 at 1023 N 40th Street in the Walnut Hill neighborhood. Situated on the Southeast corner of 40th and Nicholas Streets, the church was organized on July 3, 1887, by a meeting of the people living near West Hamilton Street. Initiative for the meeting had been taken by a committee appointed for the purpose by the Presbytery of Omaha. Originally, the Church was called the West Hamilton Street Presbyterian Church. Rev. W. J. Palm was the first pastor. The Church held its final worship service on July 5, 2009, after more than 100 years of service to the Omaha Community.

Lincoln Boulevard in Omaha, Nebraska was built in the early 1890s as part of the city's boulevard system under control of the Board of Park Commissioners. It runs through the Bemis Park neighborhood west-east from Mercer Boulevard to its end at North 29 Street; it then reemerges immediately north of Dodge Street, where it intersects with Turner Boulevard.

The Bradford–Pettis House is a historic house located at 400 South 39th Street in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. It was designated an Omaha Landmark on February 26, 1980, and added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 21, 1983.

The Saddle Creek Underpass is located in the Midtown area of Omaha, Nebraska. Designed to carry Saddle Creek Road under Dodge Street (US 6), the underpass was constructed in 1934 by the Works Progress Administration. It was included on the Bridges in Nebraska Multiple Property Submission on June 29, 1992.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is a public medical school in Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1869 and chartered as a private medical college in 1881, UNMC became part of the University of Nebraska System in 1902. Rapidly expanding in the early 20th century, the university founded a hospital, dental college, pharmacy college, college of nursing, and college of medicine. It later added colleges of public health and allied health professions. One of Omaha's top employers, UNMC has an annual budget of $841.6 million for 2020 to 2021, and an economic impact of $4.8 billion.

Walnut Hill is a historic neighborhood located in north Omaha, Nebraska. It is bounded by North 40th Street on the east, Cuming Street on the south, Northwest Radial Highway and Saddle Creek Road on the west and Hamilton Street on the north.
