North Pocono High School is a public, four-year high school located in Covington Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. The school building was built in 2009. It is the only high school in the North Pocono School District, which covers a vast territory in northeastern Pennsylvania, including parts of Wayne County and all of southern and east-central Lackawanna County. North Pocono has been ranked as one of America's Most Challenging High Schools by the Washington Post for two consecutive years and one of America's Best High Schools by Newsweek. North Pocono is also one of two school districts nationwide to make the AP Honor Roll for six consecutive years.The old high school, on Church Street in the borough of Moscow, is now the North Pocono Middle School and houses grades 6 through 8, with the new high school containing grades 9 through 12. There are over 70 faculty members, which creates a teacher-student ratio of 1:15. Each grade consists of 220-280 students.

The new High School, which is located on Bochicchio Boulevard in Covington Township, houses grades 9 through 12.North Pocono School District operates 5 schools: Jefferson Elementary Center (K to 3); Moscow Elementary Center (K to 3); North Pocono Intermediate School (4 to 5), North Pocono Middle School (6 to 8), and North Pocono High School (9 to 12).

Moscow United Methodist Church is located in Moscow, Pennsylvania, on Church Street near Main Street. It is approximately 2.5 miles (4.0 km) long and flows through Covington Township and Moscow. The creek is inhabited by wild trout. Langan Swamp and Union Mills Swamp are in the watershed. The surficial geology in the area mainly consists of Wisconsinan Till, bedrock, peat bogs, and wetlands.

Wild trout naturally reproduce within it. The surficial geology in the vicinity of the stream's lower reaches consists of Wisconsinan Till, Wisconsinan Ice-Contact Stratified Drift, bedrock, and alluvium. A bridge carrying Pennsylvania Route 690 crosses the stream.
