Westwood is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is in southwestern Cambria County, in the eastern part of Lower Yoder Township. It is bordered to the north by the city of Johnstown, to the east by the borough of Brownstown, and to the south by the borough of Westmont. It sits on a hilltop at elevations ranging from 1,700 to 1,800 feet (520 to 550 m), about 500 to 600 feet (150 to 180 m) above the valley of the Conemaugh River, where Johnstown sits.

The American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of North America (ACROD) is a diocese of the Ecumenical Patriarchate with 78 parishes in the United States and Canada. Though the diocese is directly responsible to the Patriarchate, it is under the spiritual supervision of the Primate of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. The diocese was led by Metropolitan Nicholas Smisko of Amissos (1936–2011). The current leader is the Metropolitan of Nyssa, Gregory Tatsis, who was consecrated on November 27, 2012.

The Heritage Discovery Center, officially known as the "Frank & Sylvia Pasquerilla Heritage Discovery Center", is a community history and culture center operated by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA) in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The center features permanent and changing exhibits and galleries focusing on local history and culture. The building also features the Johnstown Children's Museum, a cafe and a social club. Admission to the Center includes entry to all the exhibits and the Johnstown Children's Museum, and also includes one visit to all JAHA-owned museums in the Johnstown Discovery Network, including the Johnstown Flood Museum, and the Wagner–Ritter House & Garden, which is open seasonally.

The Johnstown Inclined Plane is a 896.5-foot (273.3 m) funicular in Johnstown, Cambria County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The incline and its two stations connect the city of Johnstown, situated in a valley at the confluence of the Stonycreek and the Little Conemaugh rivers, to the borough of Westmont on Yoder Hill. The Johnstown Inclined Plane is billed as the "world's steepest vehicular inclined plane". It can carry automobiles and passengers, up or down a slope with a grade of 71.9%. The travel time between stations is 90 seconds. After a catastrophic flood in 1889, the Johnstown Inclined Plane was completed in 1891 to serve as an escape route from floods in the valley, as well as a convenient mode of transportation for residents of the new communities above the valley. It was operated by Cambria Iron Company and its successor Bethlehem Steel until 1935, when it was sold to the borough of Westmont. The incline was briefly shut down in 1962 when its supply of power from Bethlehem Steel was terminated. Twice in its history, the Johnstown Inclined Plane fulfilled its role as a means of evacuation from floods—once in 1936 and again in 1977. The incline was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and was designated a Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark in 1994. It had major renovations in 1962 and from 1983 to 1984.

Cambria City Historic District is a national historic district located at Johnstown in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 198 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in a predominantly working-class residential area of Johnstown. Though predominantly residential, it also includes a small business district and industrial buildings such as a former brewery, bottling plant, and slaughter house, along with a notable collection of churches, schools, and fire station. The district includes some buildings dated before the Johnstown Flood, but the majority date from 1890 to 1920. Notable buildings include the collection of two-story, balloon frame, detached and semi-detached dwellings, Fifth Avenue Hotel (1889), Pollack Building (1905), former Cambria Fire Hose and Ladder Company (1890), former Germana Brewery (1907), August and Louisa Mayer Building (1907), Tulip Bottling Company (1913-1949), St. Casimer's Polish Church (1907), Immaculate Conception Church (1908), St. Stephen's Slovak Church (1914), St. Columba Church (1914), St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church (1922), Venue Of Merging Arts (formerly St. George's Orthodox Church, 1911), Hungarian Reformed Church (1902), and First Catholic Slovak Band Hall (1913-1949). The contributing structure is the Minersville Bridge (1914).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

The Wagner–Ritter House & Garden, located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is a modest house that was occupied for 130 years by three generations of a steel worker's family, from the 1860s to the 1990s. The house and garden have been restored by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association. The historic house museum illustrates the domestic lives of this immigrant family, interpreting the home lives of the thousands who toiled in the shadow of the mill. The Wagner-Ritter House is located on Broad Street in the Cambria City neighborhood. The rooms of the house display appliances and furnishings of the 1800s as well as a 19th-century German raised bed garden. The yard contains a barn, privy, and a bake oven shelter that have been recreated based on historical and archeological evidence. The four room home was built by George and Franziska Wagner and it grew to include seven rooms after the birth of their thirteen children. This house is one of about a dozen remaining structures in this working-class neighborhood that survived the Johnstown Flood. History tells a story of the significance of the house during the flood. As the family was huddled on the second floor, they were able to drag a woman out the floodwater to safety through a window.The Johnstown Area Heritage Association also operates the Johnstown Flood Museum and the Heritage Discovery Center, which includes the Johnstown Children's Museum.

The Rolling Mill Mine was a drift portal coal mine in operation in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, operating from approximately 1856 until 1931. It was originally owned by the Cambria Iron Company and was developed in the Westmont hillside across the Conemaugh River from the company's rolling mill. Its portal was near the confluence of the Stonycreek River and Little Conemaugh River. It supplied the bulk of the coal used in the iron and steel making taking place in the city, producing an average of 3,000 tons a day in 1902, and primarily employed recent immigrants from Central and Eastern Europe.
