The studios and offices are on Perkiomen Avenue in Reading.WRFY-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 10,000 watts. Its transmitter tower is located on the east side of Reading on Neversink Mountain (40°19′19.0″N 75°53′34.0″W). The station's signal covers the cities of Lancaster, Allentown and Pottsville and the northwestern suburbs of Philadelphia. WRFY-FM broadcasts using HD Radio technology. Its HD-2 digital subchannel carries a Spanish-language contemporary hits format known as "Rumba 92.3.," which feeds FM translator W222BY.

Reading Central Catholic High School (more completely, Monsignor Bornemann Memorial Central Catholic High School of Reading, Pennsylvania) was a small Roman Catholic high school located at 1400 Hill Road in Reading, Pennsylvania. It was in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Allentown. The school was at the intersection of Hill Road and Clymer Street. Eckert Avenue was on the 'back' side of the school. An alley completed the school's block.

The William Penn Memorial Fire Tower is a fire lookout tower located on Mount Penn in Lower Alsace Township, Pennsylvania. Named after William Penn, the structure is owned by the city government of nearby Reading, Pennsylvania, which the tower overlooks. Work on the structure began in late 1938 as a project of the Works Progress Administration (WPA), with the tower completed the following year. The tower remained in regular use, both as a tourist attraction and as a legitimate lookout tower, for the next several decades, although deterioration to the building caused it to be closed in 1988. Starting in the late 1990s, a local nonprofit group began working to restore the tower, and it was reopened in 2004. The tower is listed on the National Historic Lookout Register, having been added in 1999.

Congregations B'nai Zion and Kesher Israel merged to form Kesher Zion in 1929.In April 1978, vandals painted seven swastikas on the walls, doors, and columns of the synagogue.

The Frederick Lauer Monument is a monumental statue in Reading, Pennsylvania, United States. The statue was dedicated in 1885 in honor of Frederick Lauer, who was a prominent citizen and brewer from the town who served as the first president of the United States Brewers' Association. The association paid for the creation of the monument, which was designed by sculptor George F. Stephens and located in City Park.
