San Juan de Aznalfarache is a city located in the province of Seville, Spain. According to the 2006 census (INE), the city has a population of 20,121 inhabitants. Despite being a separate municipality, San Juan is in the metropolitan area of Seville, to which it lies on an opposite bank of the Guadalquivir river. The city is linked by two road bridges and a pedestrian one to the Sevillian district of Triana on the Isla de La Cartuja. San Juan lies to the north of Gelves, northeast of Mairena del Aljarafe and south of Tomares, which all also make up Seville's metropolitan area. The city's name refers to the Fortress of Alfaraj (ar: حصن الفرج), a known site for muslim historians, which was likely built under the Umayyads but better known by the palace built by Al-Mu'tamid ibn Abbad in the 11th century

San Juan Bajo (English: Saint John Low) is a station of the Seville Metro on line 1 named after its situation, in the low neighborhood of the municipality of San Juan de Aznalfarache, Seville. It is located in the outskirts of the city, close to A-49 road. San Juan Bajo is an elevated building, situated between San Juan Alto and Blas Infante stations on the same line. It was opened on April 2, 2009.

San Juan Alto (English: Saint John High) is a station of the Seville Metro on line 1 named after its situation, in the neighborhood of the municipality of San Juan de Aznalfarache, Seville. It is located close toA-8057 road and Clara Campoamor St. San Juan Alto is a semi-underground building, situated between Cavaleri and San Juan Alto stations on the same line. It was opened on 2 April 2009.

Cavaleri is a station of line 1 of the Seville metro. It is located in the Jagüey Grande Square, in the municipality of Mairena del Aljarafe, Seville. Cavaleri is an underground type station, situated between Ciudad Expo and San Juan Alto on the same line. It was opened on April 2, 2009.

Palomares del Río is a city located in the province of Seville, Spain. According to the 2021 census (INE), the city has a population of 9020 inhabitants.

Ciudad Expo (English: Expo City) is one of the two end point stations of Seville Metro on the line 1. It will also be a tram stop of the Aljarafe tram line. Ciudad Expo is a ground station located in the avenue of Los Descubrimientos in the municipality of Mairena del Aljarafe. It was opened on 2 April 2009.

The Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol, is the training ground of the Spanish football club Real Betis. The centre which is named after the former Real Betis player Luis del Sol, is commonly nicknamed as La fábrica verdiblanca.

On 9 May 2015, an Airbus A400M Atlas cargo plane on a test flight crashed at La Rinconada, Spain, less than 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Seville Airport at around 1:00 pm local time, killing 4 of the 6 crew.

Blas Infante is a station of the Seville Metro on the line 1. It is located at the avenue of Blas Infante, in the neighborhood of Los Remedios. Blas Infante is an underground station, located between San Juan Bajo and Parque de los Príncipes stations on the same line. It was opened on April 2, 2009.

Estadio Benito Villamarín is a stadium in Seville, Spain, and the home of Real Betis since its completion in 1929. It has a capacity of 60,720.

The Seville Fair (officially and in Spanish: Feria de Abril de Sevilla, "Seville April Fair") is held in the Andalusian capital of Seville, Spain. The fair generally begins two weeks after the Semana Santa, or Easter Holy Week. The fair officially begins at midnight on Saturday, and runs seven days, ending on the following Saturday. Each day the fiesta begins with the parade of carriages and riders, at midday, carrying Seville's leading citizens which make their way to the bullring, La Real Maestranza, where the bullfighters and breeders meet. For the duration of the fair, the fairgrounds and a vast area on the far bank of the Guadalquivir River are totally covered in rows of casetas (individual decorated marquee tents which are temporarily built on the fairground). These casetas usually belong to prominent families of Seville, groups of friends, clubs, trade associations and political parties. From around nine at night until six or seven the following morning, at first in the streets and later only within each caseta, there are crowds partying and dancing sevillanas, drinking Sherry, manzanilla or rebujito, and eating tapas. This fair also has an amusement park that comes with it and has many games to play along with roller coasters to ride.

Parque de los Príncipes (English: Princes Park) is a station of the Seville Metro on the line 1. It is located at the intersection of the avenues of República Argentina and López de Gomara, in the neighborhood of Los Remedios. Parque de los Príncipes is an underground station, located between Blas Infante and Plaza de Cuba stations on the same line. It was opened on April 2, 2009. Is expected that in the future, the station will have a connection with the line 4 of the subway (that it is still in planning phase).
