McKeesport, Pennsylvania

The Carnegie Free Library in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, is a Public Library built with funds from Pittsburgh steel magnate Andrew Carnegie. McKeesport is located about 15 miles up the Monongahela River from Pittsburgh. The grant for this library was commissioned April 2, 1899. Out of approximately 1,688 libraries funded by Carnegie in America, McKeesport's was the 12th be commissioned. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

First Methodist Episcopal Church of McKeesport, known since 1968 as the First United Methodist Church, is a historic church in McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The Late Gothic Revival style church has been in use for religious services and community events since its dedication. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Crooked Run Creek is a tributary of the Monongahela River southeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The bridge's length is significantly longer than that of several surrounding structures because its crosses both the river and a large water treatment facility. The Youghiogheny River Trail, a portion of the Cumberland, Maryland-to-Pittsburgh Great Allegheny Passage uses the bridge's pedestrian lanes. Through McKeesport, the trail features a designated right of way, while it is officially signed through city streets in Port Vue. As of 2005, the bridge officially became known as the Senator Albert V. “Bud” Belan Bridge after Governor Ed Rendell signed Senate Bill 406. The renaming was in honor of Sen. Belan’s efforts to restore the bridge.

St. Mary's (German) Church was a Roman Catholic church in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, noteworthy for being the only church in the United States built in the early Christian Basilica model. During the 1980s, the church hosted a Broadway-inspired stage show in its parish hall featuring Rev. Tom Smith.

The McKeesport-Duquesne Bridge it is a truss bridge that carries vehicular traffic across the Monongahela River between McKeesport, Pennsylvania and Duquesne, Pennsylvania. The bridge connects Route 837 in Duquesne and Route 148 in McKeesport.

McKeesport National Bank (now McKeesport City Hall) located at 5th Avenue and Sinclair Street in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, was built from 1889 to 1891. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 29, 1980, and the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 1981.

McKeesport Area High School is a public high school located in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, United States. The school, which is located at 1960 Eden Park Boulevard, serves students from Dravosburg, McKeesport, South Versailles, Versailles, and White Oak. The school is a member of The Consortium for Public Education, which is a member of the Public Education Network.
