St. George's Church is an Anglican church in Trotton, a village in the district of Chichester, one of seven local government districts in the English county of West Sussex. Most of the structure was built in the early 14th century. However, some parts date to around 1230, and there is evidence suggesting an earlier church on the same site. In 1904, a largely intact and unusually detailed painting was found on the west wall depicting the Last Judgment as described in Matthew 25:31–46. The church is dedicated to St. George, patron saint of England. The rector of St George's also oversees the parish of Rogate with Terwick, and most services are held at St. Bartholomew's church in Rogate: just two services a month take place at Trotton. The church is also used once a month by the British Orthodox Church. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building for its architectural and historical importance.

Trotton with Chithurst is a civil parish in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England. Trotton is on the A272 road 7 miles (11 km) west of Midhurst. Chithurst is about 1 mile (1.6 km) north west of Trotton. The parish also contains the hamlet of Dumpford. In the 2001 census the parish covered 7.7 square kilometres (3.0 sq mi) and had 129 households with a total population of 328. 160 residents were economically active. At the 2011 Census the population had only increased marginally to 329.

Iping is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Stedham with Iping, in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England. It lies just off the A272 road 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Midhurst, on the River Rother. In 1931 the parish had a population of 400.

Iping and Stedham Commons is a nature reserve owned and managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust. It is a 125.4-hectare (310-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (designated as Iping Common but covering both commons) near the villages of Iping and Stedham, west of Midhurst in West Sussex. It is also a Local Nature Reserve and a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade 2.This is described by Natural England as one of the richest areas of heath in the county. Most of it is dry but there are also areas of wet heath, two ponds, woodland, scrub and grassland. It has a rich invertebrate fauna and breeding heathland birds include nightjars and stonechats.There is access from Elsted Road, which runs between the two commons.

Midhurst is an electoral division of West Sussex in the United Kingdom, and returns one member to sit on West Sussex County Council.

Stedham with Iping is a civil parish in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England. It is approximately two miles (3 km) west of Midhurst and comprises the two villages of Stedham and Iping. There are two churches in the parish: St James' in Stedham and St Mary's in Iping. Its watermill (now disused) was used for the production of blotting paper.In the 2001 census the parish had an area of 11 km2 (2,671 acres) and had 346 households with a total population of 814. 413 residents were economically active. The population at the 2011 Census was 767.Former parish residents include Kerry Packer who maintained a polo team in the area.One of the stories of H. G. Wells, "The Invisible Man" begins when the bandaged invisible man comes to a village called Iping to rent a room, gets discovered, and has to fight frightened villagers to get away.

Elsted railway station served the village of Elsted in the county of West Sussex in England. The village itself was a mile away to the south-west. The station was on the line between Petersfield and Midhurst, which was operational between 1 September 1864 and the last train ran on 5 February 1955. The station building has now been cleared for an industrial development, although nearby railway cottages are still in existence.

It is close to a Roman way station or mansio on the Chichester to Silchester Way.Because titty is a slang term for breast or nipple, Titty Hill has been frequently noted for its unusual place name.

Wispers is a Grade II listed British country house in the parish of Stedham with Iping near Midhurst, West Sussex. The house was built in 1874–1876 by architect Richard Norman Shaw, in the Tudor Revival style, more commonly known as "Mock Tudor". It has been added to considerably since. It was a private house from its construction until 1939; from 1939 onwards it has housed several schools.

Milland is a village and civil parish in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England. It is situated north of the A272 road on the border with Hampshire. In the 2001 census the parish covered 5,023 acres (20.33 km2) and had 332 households with a total population of 829 of whom 394 residents were economically active. At the 2011 Census the population was 891.The village lies along a section of the Chichester to Silchester Way Roman road, almost the only part to have survived in modern use. At the southern end of the village the boundary banks of a mansio, a Roman posting station on the road, are visible.The parish has an Anglican church, St. Luke's, the independent Milland Evangelical Church (MEC) and the disused Tuxlith Chapel which is in the care of a national charity the Friends of Friendless Churches.

Fyning Moor is a 12.8-hectare (32-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Fyning in West Sussex.This is a base-rich and springline alder wood, which is a nationally uncommon woodland type. Open rides have diverse flora and there are fens on the margins of a river. There are three nationally uncommon fly species, Xylota abiens, Ctenophora bimaculata and Rhobdomastix hilaris.The site is private land but it is crossed by footpaths.

Woolbeding is a village and ecclesiastical parish in the District of Chichester in West Sussex, England, 1 mile (1.6 km) north-west of Midhurst and north of the River Rother and A272 road. The civil parish of Woolbeding with Redford has a land area of 1,801 acres (729 ha). The 2001 census recorded 158 people living in 70 households, of whom 83 were economically active.
