The Cathedral of Mary Our Queen is a Catholic cathedral located in northern Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was completed in 1959. The cathedral is the seat, holding the cathedra or "bishop's seat", of the Archbishop of Baltimore, joining the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, on Cathedral Street at Mulberry Street, in downtown Baltimore. Because the archdiocese is the premier episcopal see of the United States and the downtown basilica was the nation's first Catholic cathedral, this second edifice now serves as co-cathedral.

Northern Parkway is a major road that runs west–east across the northern part of the city Baltimore. For most of the way, it is at least six lanes wide, and it is used by motorists for crosstown travel. It is designated E. Northern Pkwy and W. Northern Pkwy with Charles Street being the dividing line. It was constructed in the 1950s through several neighborhoods and several homes were razed in the process from right-of-way. The section of E. Northern Pkwy from Harford Road to Fleetwood Ave was originally called German Lane.

Notre Dame of Maryland University is a private Catholic university in Baltimore, Maryland. NDMU offers certificate, undergraduate, and graduate programs for women and men.

Loyola-Notre Dame is a neighborhood located in Baltimore, Maryland. The neighborhood is named after the two universities that occupy most of the area: Notre Dame of Maryland University and Loyola University Maryland. The neighborhood is also home to the Evergreen House owned by Johns Hopkins University. The neighborhood covers all the area owned by the two universities and Evergreen House. The neighborhood does not cover a uniform area, but does have a relative definition. The northern boundary is Homeland Avenue. The eastern boundary varies among Millbrook Road, Underwood Road and other small streets. The Radnor Village, Thomas Aquinas Hall, and Loyola Public system are also included in the neighborhood despite being separated from the rest of the Loyola campus by the Radnor-Winston and Villages of Homeland neighborhoods. The southern border is Cold Spring Lane and the western border is primarily North Charles Street. Loyola extends via a pedestrian bridge over North Charles Street along Cold Spring Lane to Stony Run stream. The Loyola Fitness and Aquatics center is also across North Charles Street. The neighborhood is unique in having a very small permanent population, but housing over 4,000 students.

Mid-Govans is a community in northeast Baltimore, Maryland and part of the development of York Road, a historic Baltimore route to Pennsylvania. As the name suggests, Mid-Govans is located in the center of the larger neighborhood, Govans, with the rough boundaries of York Road to the west, Belvedere Avenue to the north, Midwood Avenue to the east, and Woodbourne Avenue to the south.

The Senator Theatre is a historic Art Deco movie theater on York Road in the Govans section of Baltimore, Maryland. It is the oldest operating movie theater in central Maryland and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated Baltimore City Landmark. Managers Buzz and Kathleen Cusack renovated the theater and reopened it on October 15, 2010. The theater closed again for more renovations on April 26, 2012. It has since reopened, with three smaller theaters adjacent to the main one. It shows first run movies as well as classics.

Friends School of Baltimore is a private Quaker school in Baltimore, serving students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.

Govans is a neighborhood located in northeastern Baltimore, Maryland. It includes the communities of Mid-Govans, Rosebank, Lothian, Benninghause, Woodbourne McCabe, Winston-Govans, Homeland, and Richnor Springs.

Bellona–Gittings is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located between the neighborhoods of Cedarcroft (east) and The Orchards (west). Its boundaries are marked by the Baltimore County line (north), East Melrose Avenue (south), Bellona Avenue (east) and North Charles Street (west). Many of the houses in this neighborhood were built from 1853 to 1956, with a wide variety of styles. Aside from one historic commercial building, the neighborhood is residential.The Baltimore neighborhood of Bellona–Gittings is part of the Bellona–Gittings Historic District, which extends over the Baltimore County line to Charlesbrooke and Overbrook Roads to the north, and includes the Baltimore neighborhood of Cedarcroft to the east. Although the historic district overlaps jurisdictions, developer Philip E. Lamb designed its roads and houses in 1910 with a distinct, cohesive character.

Lake–Evesham Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It incorporates 260 buildings representing its development over the period 1870–1946. The majority of buildings in the district are bungalows and houses in various revival styles built in the 1920s and 1930s, when Lake Evesham was actively developed as a residential suburb.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Radnor-Winston is a small community centered near the intersection of York Road and Winston Ave in the North District of Baltimore. Radnor Winston is a friendly, affordable and diverse neighborhood of about 220 homes tucked behind the campuses of Loyola University and The College of Notre Dame. Located in the Roland Park Public School district, the neighborhood is convenient to both downtown Baltimore and Towson. The housing stock includes a variety of detached and semi-detached homes dating from the turn of the 20th century through the early 1950s, primarily bungalows, cottages and American Foursquares.The neighborhood was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.The Radnor-Winston Improvement Association is a volunteer organization, formed in 1958, with a long history of activism on local issues of concern.

Woodbourne Heights, Baltimore is a community in northern Baltimore, Maryland. It is served by the Woodbourne Heights Community, the Woodbourne-McCabe Neighborhood and the Beauregard Neighborhood Associations.
