The Cathedral of Mary Our Queen is a Catholic cathedral located in northern Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was completed in 1959. The cathedral is the seat, holding the cathedra or "bishop's seat", of the Archbishop of Baltimore, joining the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, on Cathedral Street at Mulberry Street, in downtown Baltimore. Because the archdiocese is the premier episcopal see of the United States and the downtown basilica was the nation's first Catholic cathedral, this second edifice now serves as co-cathedral.

Bryn Mawr School, founded in 1885 as the first college-preparatory school for girls in the United States, is an independent, nonsectarian all-girls school for grades PK-12, with a coed preschool. The Orchards is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located between the neighborhoods of New North Roland Park–Poplar Hill and Bellona–Gittings. Its boundaries are marked by the Baltimore County line (north), Maryland Route 133 Northern Parkway (south), and Maryland Route 139 Charles Street (east). Roland Avenue, West Lake Avenue, Kenmore Road and Melrose Avenue draw the neighborhood's west boundary.

Wyndhurst is a neighborhood located in the North District of Baltimore, Maryland. Wyndhurst is a square-shaped piece of land bordered by Northern Parkway on the north, Charles Street on the east, Wyndhurst Avenue on the south and Roland Avenue on the west. It comprises Tuxedo Park and Embla Park, which contain over 300 houses, and is also home to four schools, two religious communities, and several commercial establishments. Nicholas Fessenden, former president of the Wyndhurst Improvement Association, describes his community as such, "Tuxedo Park and Embla Park make up Wyndhurst as far as the residences are concerned," says Fessenden, "Then we have schools and institutions that are all part of the Wyndhurst neighborhood. Tuxedo Park and Embla Park are the older names, and together they make up Wyndhurst."The former Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad tracks serve as the dividing line between the two sub-neighborhoods. On the West lies Tuxedo Park, with Embla Park on the east. The tracks are also now used as part of a hiking and biking trail in the area.

Bellona–Gittings is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located between the neighborhoods of Cedarcroft (east) and The Orchards (west). Its boundaries are marked by the Baltimore County line (north), East Melrose Avenue (south), Bellona Avenue (east) and North Charles Street (west). Many of the houses in this neighborhood were built from 1853 to 1956, with a wide variety of styles. Aside from one historic commercial building, the neighborhood is residential.The Baltimore neighborhood of Bellona–Gittings is part of the Bellona–Gittings Historic District, which extends over the Baltimore County line to Charlesbrooke and Overbrook Roads to the north, and includes the Baltimore neighborhood of Cedarcroft to the east. Although the historic district overlaps jurisdictions, developer Philip E. Lamb designed its roads and houses in 1910 with a distinct, cohesive character.

Homeland is a neighborhood in the northern part of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is bounded roughly by Melrose Avenue on the north, Bellona Avenue on the east, Homeland Avenue on the south, and Charles Street on the west. The Greater Homeland Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001 with 1,616 contributing buildings.

Gilman School is an all-boys independent school located in the Roland Park neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. There are three school divisions: Lower School, grades pre-kindergarten through five; Middle School, grades six through eight; and Upper School, grades nine through twelve. Founded in 1897 as the Country School for Boys, it was the first country day school in the US. It is named for Daniel Coit Gilman, the first president of Johns Hopkins University and an early supporter of efforts by Anne Galbraith Carey to form an all-boys day school.Gilman enrolls approximately 1,400 students, ranging from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade, under the instruction of 146 faculty members. It is a member of the Association of Independent Maryland Schools and the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association.Prominent graduates of Gilman include author Walter Lord, sportswriter Frank Deford, Arizona Governor Fife Symington, Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlich, US Senator Daniel Brewster, US Congressman John Sarbanes, and composer Christopher Rouse and Cyrus Jones.

Roland Park Country School (RPCS) is an independent all-girls college preparatory school in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It serves girls from kindergarten through grade 12. It is located on Roland Avenue in the northern area of Baltimore called Roland Park. An August 2010 Baltimore magazine article cites RPCS as the "best school for tomorrow’s leaders."

St. Mary's Seminary and University is a Catholic seminary located within the Archdiocese of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland; it was the first seminary founded in the United States after the Revolution and has been run since its founding by the Society of the Priests of Saint Sulpice.

Lake–Evesham Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It incorporates 260 buildings representing its development over the period 1870–1946. The majority of buildings in the district are bungalows and houses in various revival styles built in the 1920s and 1930s, when Lake Evesham was actively developed as a residential suburb.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
