County Waterford (Irish: Contae Phort Láirge) is a county in Ireland. It is in the province of Munster and is part of the Southern Region. It is named after the city of Waterford. Waterford City and County Council is the local authority for the county. The population of the county at large, including the city, was 127,363 according to the 2022 census. The county is based on the historic Gaelic territory of the Déise. There is an Irish-speaking area, Gaeltacht na nDéise, in the southwest of the county.

Mahon Bridge (Irish: Droichead na Machan), also spelled Mahonbridge, is a village in the parish of Kilrossanty in mid County Waterford, Ireland, located on the R676 road between Carrick on Suir and Dungarvan. The nearest town is Kilmacthomas.

Kilrossanty (Irish: Cill Rosanta) is a small village and parish in County Waterford, Ireland. It lies between the Comeragh Mountains and the R676 road between Dungarvan and Carrick-on-Suir, close to the Mahon Falls. It is 11 km north of Dungarvan, and 32 km west of Waterford city.

Lemybrien (Irish: Léim Uí Bhriain, meaning 'O'Brien's leap') is a small village and townland in County Waterford, Ireland. It is on the N25 Cork to Waterford City road. Lemybrien is in the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains, in an area of County Waterford known as "The Déise". As of the 2016 census, the village had a population of 192 people, of whom 104 were male and 88 female.

Kilrossanty GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club located in Lemybrien, County Waterford, Ireland. The club is named for the nearby village of Kilrossanty. It plays home games at Pairc Naomh Brid. Kilrossanty is one of the oldest GAA clubs in Waterford and one of the larger Gaelic Football clubs there. They also play underage hurling and have fielded a number of adult hurling teams on many occasions. They won the Junior B Hurling title in 1990.and 2016 Defeating Mount Sion 1-20 to 07 In the early days of the GAA, Kerry GAA wore red and green as their colours. In 1903, they traveled east to play a tournament in Dungarvan and inexplicably left the green and red jerseys at home. Percy Kirwan borrowed the green and gold kit off local club Kilrossanty and following a strong performance, they decided to adopt the colours.

Croughaun Hill (Irish: Cruachán Paorach or Cruachán) is a hill in north County Waterford, Ireland. It is a largely solitary hill to the east of the Comeragh Mountains.

John Mitchels GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Fews, County Waterford, Ireland. The club is exclusively dedicated to Gaelic Football Intermediate level. The club has won the Waterford Senior Football Championship 3 times, 1970, 1973 and 1976.

The Cloch Labhrais, also called the Answering Stone and the Speaking Stone, is a large glacial erratic boulder beside a road leading from Waterford to Dungarvan, 2 miles (3 km) from Stradbally, County Waterford in Ireland. The stone is the subject of a legend, much like the Blarney Stone. The most prominent and unique feature of the stone is a large, 5-foot-wide split (1.5 m) almost completely cleaving the stone in two. The large glacial boulder likely obtained the split when the glacial ice melted due to a rapid temperature change between the ice and the water of the stream.

Drumlohan souterrain and ogham stones, known locally as the Ogham Cave, is a souterrain with ogham stones forming a National Monument located in County Waterford, Ireland.

The Waterford Raceway (also known as the pike!) is a 1/3 mile tarmac oval motorsport race track off the main Waterford—Cork road near Dungarvan, Ireland. The motor racing circuit was opened in the 1970s and hosted hot rod racing. It is open from March to December every year with a race meeting approximately once a month and with a Christmas meeting on Stephen's day. There are many classes of cars racing each day from first level junior drivers in 1 litre cars up to a top level 3.5 litre super car class. Junior drivers can race from the age of ten in restricted car's. Each meeting classes race for the days trophies and cups and also for championship points in a year long battle to become top of each class with the overall winner being crowned king/queen of the pike.

Kilmacthomas or Kilmactomas (Irish: Coill Mhic Thomáisín), often referred to locally as "Kilmac", is a town on the River Mahon in County Waterford, Ireland. It lies on the R677, a road north of the N25 national primary road from Dungarvan to Waterford.
