Battledown is a private residential estate in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. In the 19th century a number of such private estates were established in the town; Battledown is the last to remain private, the rest having been merged into the wider town. Battledown is one of the richest parts of Cheltenham, the average house price is approximately £1 million. In the 1960s Battledown Manor became a home for boys aged 9yrs to 16yrs old. The head was a retired Royal Marines Captain, J B Ward, and the manor housed some 15 to 20 boys from across England. All of the boys were sent to local schools in Charlton Kings and Cheltenham.

The A40 is a trunk road which runs between London and Goodwick (Fishguard), Wales, and officially called The London to Fishguard Trunk Road (A40) in all legal documents and Acts. Much of its length within England has been superseded by motorways, such as the M40, and has lost its trunk road status, though it retains it west of Gloucester, including its length within Wales. It is approximately 260 miles (420 km) long. The eastern section from Denham, Buckinghamshire to Wheatley, Oxfordshire is better served by the M40 and its former function of linking London with Cheltenham and Gloucester has been taken by the M4, A419 and A417 via Swindon.

Bouncer's Lane Cemetery, also known as Cheltenham Cemetery and Prestbury Cemetery, at Bouncer's Lane, Prestbury, Cheltenham, is a cemetery founded by the Burial Board of the Improvement Commissioners for Cheltenham. Consecrated in 1864, it remains municipal property and includes a crematorium. The cemetery was the last of four designed by William Henry Knight, including Hereford Cemetery (1858), Great Malvern Cemetery (1861), and Shipston-on-Stour Cemetery (1863). All of them have chapels and other features similar to those at Bouncer's Lane.

DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham (earlier known as Cheltenham Park Hotel), Charlton Kings, is a Regency building of historical significance. It was previously called Lilleybrook. It stands on the site of an ancient manor which was rebuilt and/or improved in about 1700 and again in 1816. In 1831 it was badly damaged by fire and in 1833 it was again rebuilt. This is the house which stands today. Over the next century it was the home to several notable families and in 1922 opened as a hotel. The building was renovated in 2017 and the hotel subsequently adopted the DoubleTree franchise. The hotel is managed by Michels & Taylor.

Whaddon is a suburb in the North Eastern part of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. Whaddon consists of council housing built in the 1940s and 50s, making up Whaddon and Lynworth council estates. Whaddon is located less than a mile from Cheltenham town centre. Whaddon Road, the home of Cheltenham Town Football Club (currently playing in the EFL League One) is situated here.

St Edward's School is an independent co-educational Roman Catholic school in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. The majority of pupils come to the school from St Edward's Preparatory School, its associated preparatory school, although a significant number come from schools across the county each year. St Edward's is Cheltenham's only independent day school. The current headmaster is Matthew Burke.

The Victoria Ground is a cricket ground in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1893, when Cheltenham played East Gloucestershire.Gloucestershire played their first first-class match there in 1923 against Glamorgan. Gloucestershire played 19 first-class matches at the ground from 1923 to 1937, playing their only game there in 1937 against Kent in the County Championship. In 1986, Gloucestershire returned to the ground where they played a single first-class match against the Indians during their tour of England.As well as hosting first-class cricket the ground has also hosted a single List-A match between the Gloucestershire Cricket Board and the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board in the 2000 NatWest Trophy.In 1982, the ground held a single international match between Israel and Papua New Guinea in the 1982 ICC Trophy. During the 1986 ICC Trophy, the ground held a further ICC Trophy match between Canada and the Netherlands.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Cheltenham Cricket Club.

Prestbury is a village and civil parish in the borough of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, England. Located on the outskirts of Cheltenham and part of the Tewkesbury parliamentary constituency. The parish of Prestbury had a population of 6,981 according to the 2011 census.

Whaddon Road, known as the Completely-Suzuki Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Cheltenham, England. It is the home ground of Cheltenham Town F.C. It has a total capacity of 7,066, with a mixture of seating and terracing. The ground's official name was the Victory Sports Ground until April 2009 when it was renamed the Abbey Business Stadium through a sponsorship deal. It was announced on 13 July 2015 that the club had agreed a three-year deal to rename the stadium The World of Smile Stadium, but the deal ended after only one year and the stadium was renamed LCI Rail Stadium in 2016–17, before being named "Jonny-Rocks Stadium" in 2018–19, and "Completely-Suzuki Stadium" in 2022.
