Williams Grove School is a historic one-room school located at Angier, Harnett County, North Carolina. It was built in 1892, and is a one-room frame front gable building. It measures 30 feet, 4 inches long, by 22 feet, 4 inches wide. It was moved to its present site in 1975 and subsequently restored as a museum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Carter Gymnasium is a 947-seat multi-purpose arena in Buies Creek, North Carolina. It was previously home to the Campbell University Fighting Camels men's basketball and women's basketball teams. It was one of the smallest college basketball venues in Division I (the G. B. Hodge Center, home to the University of South Carolina Upstate's program, is the current smallest Division I men's basketball arena). The building was named for textile executive Howard Carter. Built in 1952 and opened in 1953, the dimensions of the basketball court are smaller than regulation, but a grandfather clause allowed Campbell University to continue its tenure in the division. The Fighting Camels began play in 2008 in the new John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center. The new $30 million arena seats 3,000 spectators for athletic events.

Angier ( AN-jur) is a town in the Black River Township of Harnett County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 4,350 at the 2010 census and estimated as of 2018 to be 5,253. Angier is a part of the greater Raleigh–Durham–Cary Combined Statistical Area (CSA) as defined by the United States Census Bureau.

Barclaysville is an unincorporated community located in Harnett County, North Carolina, United States, near the town of Angier. It is a part of the Dunn Micropolitan Area, which is also a part of the greater Raleigh–Durham–Cary Combined Statistical Area (CSA) as defined by the United States Census Bureau. The community was a stop on the defunct Durham and Southern Railway and was formerly the site of Barclay-Barbee naval stores industry.

Kennebec is a small unincorporated community in southern Wake County, North Carolina, United States, along the border of Harnett County. The community is situated along North Carolina Highway 55 and is the site of the Fuquay-Angier Airfield (Kennebec Flying Club). Much of the area has been recently annexed by the Harnett County town of Angier. Kennebec was named for Kennebec County, Maine (Powell 1968, p. 262). The community was also a stop on the former Durham and Southern Railway.

Harnett Central High School is a high school located in Angier, North Carolina. HCHS is one of six high schools in Harnett County. Harnett Central High School's mascot is the HCHS Trojan. The school colors are burgundy and gold. The feeder school for Harnett Central High is Harnett Central Middle School.

Willow Spring High School (WSHS) is a public high school located in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The school began construction in 2017 to accommodate the growing population of Wake County, and began operation in 2021. The school has had one of its teachers nominated for a state award in 2023, and has had a successful varsity football team.

The Lundy–Fetterman School of Business is an American business school founded in 1983 and located in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The Business School is one of eight colleges and schools that compose Campbell University.

Jim Perry Stadium is a baseball stadium in Buies Creek, North Carolina. It is home to the Campbell Fighting Camels baseball team. Previously known as Taylor Field, the venue dates back to the 1940s and Campbell's junior college baseball days. Taylor Field was named for Herbert B. Taylor, a supporter of Campbell University's athletics programs. Following the 2012 season, the field was renamed for Jim Perry, who played baseball and basketball for Campbell from 1956 to 1959. Perry later pitched for 17 seasons in Major League Baseball, earning the 1970 American League Cy Young Award with the Minnesota Twins.The field dimensions are 337 feet down the left field line, 368 feet in left-center, 395 feet to straight-away center, 375 feet to the right-center, and 328 feet down the right field line. Renovations began in 2011,and included a new entrance and ticket booth, restrooms and concession stand, as well as improved exterior landscaping. The stadium was dedicated prior to a 6–3 victory over in-state rival Duke on March 26, 2013.A later addition was a new grandstand that stretches from dugout to dugout and featured 310 chairback seats, with an overall seating capacity then of 630. New dugouts were constructed, with the home dugout built in-ground. A pavilion was also added, dedicated to Jim and Daphne Perry. Prior to the 2017 seasons, ProGrass Turf installed a complete turf playing surface, and new chair seat backs were added, bringing the stadiums' capacity to over 1,000 seats. This newest addition also provided a state-of-the-art locker room, and new offices for the entire Campbell baseball operation. An HD video board has been added, the largest in the Big South Conference, measuring 35' 7 1/2" tall and 42' 6 1/2" wide. Taylor Field hosted the 1985, 1987, and 1988 Big South Conference baseball tournaments. Winthrop won in 1985 and 1987, while Campbell won on its home field in 1988.In 2017 and 2018, Jim Perry Stadium was home to the Houston Astros' new Carolina League affiliate, the Buies Creek Astros, an A-Advanced league team, who played there during construction of a new ballpark in Fayetteville. The Astros won the 2018 Carolina League championship at Jim Perry Stadium.

The Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences is an American pharmacy school founded in 1985 by Dean Ronald Maddox and located in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The College is one of seven schools that compose Campbell University. In 2009, the school's name was changed to Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.The Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences launched a physician assistant program in August 2011, a public health program in August 2012, a physical therapy program in January 2014, and an undergraduate nursing program in August 2014. A proposed doctor of occupational therapy program was announced in September 2014. The school announced on January 3, 2024, that the new dean is Dr. Jeffrey Mercer, effective immediately.

Campbell University is a private Christian, Liberal Arts university in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Campbell's main campus in Buies Creek is home to its College of Arts & Sciences, College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Divinity School, School of Education, Lundy-Fetterman School of Business, and the School of Engineering. Nearby is the Health Sciences Campus, home to the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Catherine W. Wood School of Nursing. Campbell also operates a Raleigh Campus in downtown Raleigh, which is home to the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law as well as other programs. It maintains additional satellite campuses in Fort Bragg/Pope Air Force Base and at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, and maintains a degree program at Tunku Abdul Rahman College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and provides online classes through Adult & Online Education. The university athletics teams are the Fighting Camels; its athletics programs field 20 NCAA Division I teams.

The John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center is a multi-purpose arena in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The arena, Gore Arena, is located on the campus of Campbell University and hosts the university's basketball, volleyball, and wrestling programs. It is named for Gilbert Craig Gore, the late son of a Campbell alum. The John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center is a part of the expansion plan of Campbell's athletic facilities, which includes a new football stadium and renovations to existing Taylor Field of the baseball program. The John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center replaced Carter Gymnasium, which was the second smallest gymnasium in Division I Basketball with just 947 seats, second only to Charleston Southern's Fieldhouse which holds 750. The John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center also host events such as the universities commencement ceremonies and other university related events. The Pope Convocation Center played host to the 2016 Big South Conference men's basketball tournament, taking place March 3–6 of that year. It will once again host the quarterfinal and semifinals of the conference tournament in 2019. In November 2023, the basketball court was dedicated to longtime coach and administrator Wanda Watkins.
