Centre scolaire Léo-Rémillard (abbreviated CSLR) is a French-language high school situated in the southeastern part of Winnipeg, Manitoba, in Canada. It currently offers grade 9 to grade 12. This school was built in honor of the writer Léo Rémillard, and it is part of the Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine.

King's Park is a 92 acres (37.4 ha) park and residential subdivision in Fort Richmond, a suburb in southern Winnipeg, located on the western side of the Red River. Its grounds include Chinese pagoda gardens in the centre of the park, a soccer field, two baseball diamonds, an off leash dog park area and marshland, home of waterfowl and wildlife.

Maple Grove Rugby Park is an 81 ha (200 acres) park in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Located in the St. Vital neighbourhood, the park is bordered by the Perimeter Highway to the south, St. Mary's Road to the east, and the Red River to the north and west. King's Park is situated across the river in Fort Richmond. The park is home to the St. Vital Mustangs Football Club, which operates a football facility and clubhouse on the grounds. Maple Grove Rugby Park, operated by Rugby Manitoba, is located next to the football facility and is Manitoba's largest rugby-only complex with five regulation-sized pitches and its own clubhouse.Other amenities at the park include an off-leash dog park, Frisbee fields, beach volleyball courts, and a boat launch into the Red River.There is currently no public transit access to or from the Park with Winnipeg Transit.

Grande Pointe is a place in the province of Manitoba, Canada, that is designated as both an unincorporated community and a settlement. It is located 15 km (9.3 mi) southeast of downtown Winnipeg within the Rural Municipality of Ritchot.

The Asper School of Business is located on the University of Manitoba, Fort Garry Campus in South Winnipeg, Manitoba. The school began in 1937 as the University of Manitoba Faculty of Management. The school was renamed in 2000 in honour of Izzy Asper, noted for his many contributions to the City of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba over the span of his life. The Asper School of Business has international accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. There are currently 1,900 BComm. students attending the school and close to 22,000 alumni from all programs.

Minnetonka is a neighbourhood in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, located in the southern section of the district of St. Vital. It is bounded by the Red River on the west and south, Bishop Grandin Boulevard on the north, and St. Mary's Road on the east. As of the 2016 census, Minnetonka had a population of 4,285. On some maps, Minnetonka is called Riel.

Brandon University is a university located in the city of Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, with an enrollment of approximately 3,375 (2020) full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students. The current location was founded on July 13, 1899, as Brandon College as a Baptist institution. It was chartered as a university by then President John E. Robbins on June 5, 1967. The enabling legislation is the Brandon University Act. Brandon University is one of several predominantly undergraduate liberal arts and sciences institutions in Canada.The university is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate (CUSID) and a member of U Sports. The University of Manitoba (U of M, UManitoba, or UM) is a Canadian public research university in the province of Manitoba. Founded in 1877, it is the first university of western Canada.Both by total student enrolment and campus area, the U of M is the largest university in the province of Manitoba and the 17th-largest in all of Canada. Its main campus is located in the Fort Garry neighbourhood of southern Winnipeg, with other campuses throughout the city. Along with the Fort Garry campus as its central hub, the University of Manitoba operates three other major locations: the Bannatyne Campus, the James W. Burns Executive Education Centre, and the William Norrie Centre. In addition, the university also administers its French-language affiliate, Université de Saint-Boniface in the Saint Boniface ward of Winnipeg. The university claims to maintain a reputation as a top research-intensive post-secondary educational institution, conducting more research annually than any other university in the region; its competitive academic and research programs have also consistently ranked among the top in the Canadian Prairies. The University of Manitoba Students' Union (UMSU) is the university-wide representative body for undergraduate students at the University of Manitoba, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. UMSU was established in 1919, replacing the former University of Manitoba Students' Association founded in 1914. Its head office is located in UMSU University Centre—a large, Modernist architecture building designed by Canadian architect Isadore (Issie) Coop at UM's Fort Garry Campus that serves as the university's activity hub. UMSU is funded by mandatory student organization fees, included in tuition fees; upon paying their fees, students become full members of the Students' Union. For the 2020-2021 school year, the mandatory UMSU fee was CAD$115.32 per term, $58.52 of which goes to UMSU itself. The executive and community representatives of the Union are elected during the UMSU General Election.
