Karpen House is a historic home located at Lloyd Harbor in Suffolk County, New York. It was built in 1955 and is a long, low residence surmounted by a flat roof with overhanging eaves. It represents a vernacular interpretation of the Modern style.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

The Seminary of the Immaculate Conception was a Catholic seminary in Lloyd Harbor, New York, accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, and serving the Diocese of Rockville Centre. It offered a number of academic degrees, primarily those of Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.).

Van Wyck-Lefferts Tide Mill ( van WYKE) is a historic tide mill located at Lloyd Harbor in Suffolk County, New York. It was built about 1793 and is a 3+1⁄2-story, gable-roofed, timber-framed rectangular building little altered since the early 19th century. The property also includes the earthen mill dam with sluice gates. The Nature Conservancy, which owns the mill, offers free boat tours to the site from May through October.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Joseph Lloyd Manor house is a historical site and Literary Landmark located in Lloyd Harbor, Suffolk County New York. The house was built between 1766 and 1767 on the Manor of Queens Village, a 3,000-acre provisioning plantation established in the late 17th century on the ancestral lands of the Matinecock Nation. The entire estate encompassed all of what is known today as Lloyd Neck. The house was built for Joseph Lloyd (1716–1780) and remained in the Lloyd family for a century before being sold in 1876. It is most significant today for being where Jupiter Hammon (1711–before 1806), the first published Black American poet, was enslaved by the Lloyd family and authored his best-known works. Today, Joseph Lloyd Manor is owned by Preservation Long Island and is used to educate the public about Long Island's colonial and early national history, the region's history of enslavement, and the legacy of Jupiter Hammon.

Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve is a state park on Lloyd Neck, a peninsula extending into the Long Island Sound, in the Village of Lloyd Harbor, New York. It is operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The 1,520-acre (6.2 km2) park covers the former Marshall Field III estate that was developed in the 1920s, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Much of the park is today managed as a nature preserve, with a focus on protecting high-quality bird habitat.

Coindre Hall, originally called West Neck Farm, is a 40-room, 80,000-square-foot (7,400 m2) mansion in the style of a medieval French château completed in 1912 for pharmaceutical magnate George McKesson Brown. Coindre Hall sits on 33 acres (13 ha) of rolling land overlooking Huntington Harbor, near the Long Island Sound.

Huntington Harbor Lighthouse, formerly known as Lloyd Harbor Lighthouse, is a lighthouse in Huntington Bay on Long Island, New York.The lighthouse was established in 1857 and the current tower was first lit in 1912. The light was automated in 1949 and is still operational. The foundation is cast reinforced concrete crib and the lighthouse is made out of cast reinforced concrete. The tower is square "castle" in the Beaux-Arts style. In 1912 a fifth order Fresnel lens was installed.In 1857, a lighthouse was built on the tip of Lloyd's Neck to assist ships in finding shelter in Lloyd Harbor from the wind and waves that often hinder navigation on the Long Island Sound. This first lighthouse, called the Lloyd Harbor Light, was of little help to ships entering the adjoining Huntington Harbor. In 1912, a new lighthouse was built to serve Huntington Harbor. The new structure was a unique lighthouse, in both design and construction. The Beaux Arts style makes the light look like a small castle. The reinforced concrete foundation and structure is unique to the area, as well. The foundation for the light was built nearby on land, then floated to the site and sunk. This Lighthouse was manned by members of the United States Lighthouse Service from 1912 until 1939, and by the United States Coast Guard since then. In 1949, the light was fully automated. The deterioration of the unoccupied lighthouse started and would continue for almost two decades. As a result of a 1983 survey, the light was deemed unsafe for servicing personnel and too expensive to repair. The Coast Guard considered demolishing the lighthouse and erecting a steel tower. In 1985, a group called Save Huntington's Lighthouse was formed by local citizens to save the lighthouse from demolition. It became the first private group in the country to successfully take over and restore an offshore lighthouse. Now known as the Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society, the group continues to enlist volunteers and raise funds for ongoing restoration and preservation work.The lighthouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 under the name of Lloyd Harbor Lighthouse with reference number #89000501.

Henry Townsend House is a historic home located at Huntington in Suffolk County, New York. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, five-bay, center-entrance clapboard-and-shingle dwelling built about 1830. It has a two-bay, 1-story side wing. Also on the property is a privy, smokehouse, well, shed, and garage.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Gilsey Mansion is a historic home located at Huntington in Suffolk County, New York. It is a large, seven-bay, two-story clapboard, T-shaped residence with a hipped roof, built about 1900 in the Colonial Revival style. A four-bay, two-story gable-roofed wing projects to the rear. It features a porte cochere on tapered Doric order columns and a pedimented portico.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Target Rock National Wildlife Refuge is located just east of the village of Lloyd Harbor, New York, on the north shore of Long Island, 25 miles (40 km) east of New York City. It is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as part of the Long Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The 80-acre (32 ha) refuge is composed of mature oak-hickory forest, a one-half-mile (0.80 km) rocky beach, a brackish pond, and several vernal ponds. The land and waters support a variety of songbirds (particularly warblers during spring migration), mammals, shorebirds, fish, reptiles and amphibians. During the colder months, diving ducks are common offshore, while harbor seals occasionally use the beach and nearby rocks as resting sites. New York State and federally protected piping plover, least tern, and common tern depend on the refuge's rocky shore for foraging and rearing young. The spring bloom at Target Rock is a reminder of its days as a garden estate, with flowering rhododendrons and mountain laurel.

Silas Sammis House is a historic home located at Huntington in Suffolk County, New York. It consists of a 1+1⁄2-story, five-bay, shingled section built about 1730 and a larger, three-bay, 1+1⁄2-story shingled residence built about 1800. The small east wing was the original dwelling. It is an intact example of settlement period architecture in Huntington.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
