Coram, New York

The Davis Town Meeting House (or Lester H. Davis House) is a historic building located in Coram, New York, United States. For most of the 19th century, it served as the town meeting place for the Town of Brookhaven.

Selden is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in the Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 19,851 at the 2010 census.

Holy Sepulchre Cemetery is a Roman Catholic cemetery located on the northwest corner of New York State Route 112 and Granny Road in Coram, New York. The cemetery was founded in 1942, and is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre. On March 1, 2016, the Diocese created a new corporation, Catholic Cemeteries of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, Inc. On September 1, 2017, the assets of the former corporation were delivered to the new corporation along with the staff members entering the corporation on January 1, 2018. In February 2018 the newly formed corporation received its first appointed President Richard Bie.

Sachem High School East is a public secondary school located in Farmingville, New York. Along with Sachem High School North, it is one of the two high schools in the Sachem School District.

Bald Hill, located in the hamlet of Farmingville, New York, part of the Town of Brookhaven, is one of the highest areas of elevation on Long Island. The highest elevation in the Bald Hill area is 331 feet (101 m). Though local residents often claim it to be the highest point on Long Island, that honor actually belongs to Jayne's Hill in the Town of Huntington at 401 feet (122 m). Also, nearby Telescope Hill, about 0.8 miles (1.3 km) WSW, is slightly higher at 334 feet (102 m). Bald Hill in Brookhaven should also not be confused with Bald Hill in Riverhead.

Miller Place High School is a public high school in the Miller Place Union Free School District along the north shore of Long Island, New York, United States. It is the only high school in the district and contains grades 9-12. The school has been ranked the 78th in the United States for the number of students taking AP classes.In the 2020-21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 877 students and 73.30 classroom teachers (on a FTE basis, for a student-teacher ratio of 11.96.

Middle Island Presbyterian Church (now known as Middle Island United Church of Christ) is a historic Presbyterian church at 271 Middle Country Road in Middle Island, Suffolk County, New York. The Federal style church building was constructed in 1837 by the Middle Island Presbyterian congregation with several later renovations and additions. The Presbyterian congregation built a new building in 1966. Later, a United Church of Christ congregation purchased the 1837 church building. The historic church building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Mount Sinai is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located within the Town of Brookhaven, in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 12,118 at the 2010 census. The hamlet is located on the North Shore of Long Island. Mount Sinai was first settled in the 1660s and was known by the name of Old Mans until a name change in the 1840s. Initially an agricultural hamlet, it transitioned into a popular resort town in the late-19th century and developed into a suburb of New York City in the mid-20th century. While primarily a residential community, the hamlet contains Mount Sinai Harbor and its popular public beach, Cedar Beach.

Telescope Hill, at 334 feet (102 m), is the highest point of elevation in the Town of Brookhaven, on Long Island, New York, United States. The hill is located at the end of Tower Hill Ave., on the border of the ZIP codes of the hamlets of Selden and Farmingville, and west of Bald Hill. Notably, Telescope Hill was the site of a fire observation station operated by the New York State Conservation Commission and later the Conservation Department from 1918 to 1959.

The Islamic Association of Long Island (also known as the Selden Masjid) is a mosque at 10 Park Hill Drive in Selden, New York, eastern Long Island, 65 miles east of New York City. It was founded in 1974 and is the oldest chartered mosque on Long Island.
