Fengshan River

The Touqian River (Chinese: 頭前溪; Hanyu Pinyin: Tóuqián Xī; Tongyong Pinyin: Tóucián Si; Wade–Giles: T'ou2-ch'ien2 Hsi1) is a river in northern Taiwan. It flows through Hsinchu County for 63 km (39 mi).

North District (traditional Chinese: 北區; simplified Chinese: 北区; pinyin: Běi Qū) is a district in north Hsinchu City, Taiwan. North District is the city seat of Hsinchu City. It is the smallest of the three districts in Hsinchu City.

Hsinchu Airport (traditional Chinese: 新竹機場; simplified Chinese: 新竹机场; pinyin: Xīnzhú Jīchǎng, IATA: HSZ, ICAO: RCPO) is an airport and military airbase in North District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It was constructed during the era of Japanese rule on 19 May 1936 and was named Shinchiku Airdrome (Japanese: 新竹飛行場). As of the late 1990s, the longest runway at Hsinchu was reportedly 12,000 feet (3658 m) long. Taroko Square (Chinese: 大魯閣湳雅廣場; pinyin: Dà lǔ gé nǎn yǎ guǎngchǎng) is a shopping mall in North District, Hsinchu, Taiwan that opened on June 1, 2018 (trial operation on May 11). The total floor area of the mall interior is about 20,000 m2 (220,000 sq ft). It is jointly developed by Taroko Group and RT-Mart. The principal stores of the mall are the Taroko baseball and softball field and the SportPark pulley field, Fitness factory, amusement, Nitori home furnishings and various themed restaurants.

The Little Ding-Dong Science Theme Park (traditional Chinese: 小叮噹科學主題樂園; simplified Chinese: 小叮当科学主题乐园; pinyin: Xiǎodīngdāng Kēxué Zhǔtí Lèyuán) is a theme park in Xinfeng Township, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. It is the only outdoor natural science park in Taiwan aimed to promote scientific knowledge and creative thoughts in children.

Hsinchu Baseball Stadium (traditional Chinese: 新竹市立棒球場; simplified Chinese: 新竹市立棒球场; pinyin: Xīnzhú Shìlì Bàngqiú Chǎng) is a baseball stadium in North District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It hosted occasional games for Taichung Agan and Taipei Gida in the defunct Taiwan Major League. The Black Bat Squadron Memorial Hall (traditional Chinese: 黑蝙蝠中隊文物陳列館; simplified Chinese: 黑蝙蝠中队文物陈列馆; pinyin: Hēibiānfú zhōngduì wénwù chénlièguǎn) is a memorial hall dedicated to Black Bat Squadron located in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan.

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral (Chinese: 聖母聖心主教座堂) also known as the Sacred Heart Cathedral of Our Lady or North Church where it is located, is a religious building that is affiliated with the Catholic Church and is located in North District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan.The current building was opened for religious services in October 1957 with a capacity of 1,000 people. She arrived some religious who were expelled or fled from the mainland by what at first had difficulty adapting to the local Chinese dialects. The temple follows the Roman or Latin rite and serves as the seat of Roman Catholic Diocese of Hsinchu (Dioecesis Hsinchuensis; 天主教新竹教區) which was created in 1961 by the Bull "In Taipehensi" of Pope John XXIII. It is under the pastoral responsibility of the Bishop John Baptist Lee Keh-mien.
