Long Branch Park is a public park in Onondaga County outside of Syracuse, New York, located in the town of Geddes, New York, on Long Branch Road near NYS Route 370 and John Glenn Boulevard. The park is situated on the northern shore of Onondaga Lake and is often misidentified as an extension of Onondaga Lake Park which wraps around the eastern shore of the lake to the south shore. Founded in 1882 by Ben and George Maurer, Long Branch Amusement Park was originally an amusement park with boxing arenas, an arcade and a trolley. The amusement park closed in 1938.Syracuse's largest mall, Destiny USA is located to the south of the lake and features an original carousel #18 from the amusement park.

Van Buren is a town located in Onondaga County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 14,367. The town is named after then-Senator Martin Van Buren, who would later become the eighth president of the United States. The town of Van Buren is located northwest of the city of Syracuse and is in the northwest part of the county. The portion of the town north and east of New York State Route 690 and south of the Seneca River is suburban in character, consisting primarily of single-family tract housing, some low-rise apartment buildings, park land, and some light industry. The rest of the town is primarily rural.

The Mohegan Manor in Baldwinsville, New York is a building designed and built in 1910 for Odd Fellows use by architect Ward Wellington Ward (1875–1932). It was renovated in the 1990s for use as a restaurant.Ward was an American architect who worked mostly in Syracuse, New York. He designed more than 250 buildings, of which more than 120 were built and survive.The Mohegan Manor was originally built for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and, in 2010, was in use as a restaurant.The Mohegan Manor is the site of a historic association fundraiser in November 2010.

Nine Mile Creek Aqueduct is a restored stone and wood aqueduct of the Erie Canal over Nine Mile Creek in Camillus, New York, United States. It was built in 1841 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.The towpath part of the structure has four arches of 30 feet (9.1 m) each. The structure was built of stone joined by a marine cement that was relatively new at the time, but which has endured well.The aqueduct is within the Camillus Erie Canal Park. Restoration work began in 2008 on the wooden bottom and sides of the aqueduct, enabling it to carry water again, and enabling reconnection of the two one-mile (1.6 km) segments of the Erie Canal on either side. In August 2009, boats traversed the restored aqueduct for the first time since 1917. It is located off Thompson Road in Camillus, about one mile east from Sim's Store. It is a few hundred yards' walking distance from a small parking area on Thompson Road.

Radisson is a planned community and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Lysander, Onondaga County, New York, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The population was 7,038 at the 2020 census. The CDP is in northwestern Onondaga County, in the eastern part of the town of Lysander. It is bordered to the southwest by the village of Baldwinsville, to the northwest by the Three Rivers Wildlife Management Area, and to the east by the Seneca River, part of the Erie Canal in this location. New York State Route 31 (Belgium Road) runs along the southern side of the CDP, leading southwest into Baldwinsville and east 10 miles (16 km) to Cicero. Syracuse is 13 miles (21 km) to the southeast.

Ninemile Creek, also known as Nine Mile Creek, is a stream in Central New York in the United States. Its source is at Otisco Lake in the town of Marcellus, from where the creek runs northward for 21.75 miles (35.00 km) through the villages of Marcellus and Camillus to Onondaga Lake in the town of Geddes. Nine Mile Creek is a scenic stream noted for trout fishing. The Solvay Process Company deposited industrial waste near the creek and Onondaga Lake from the late 19th century to the late 20th century. Recent reclamation has significantly restored quality in the final stretch of the creek. Farther to the south and upstream, the state of New York maintains fishing access sites.

Charles W. Baker High School is a public high school located in Baldwinsville, Onondaga County, New York, and is the only high school operated by the Baldwinsville Central School District. The school was named after Charles Winston Baker.
