Liverpool High School (LHS) is a comprehensive New York public high school located on Wetzel Road in Liverpool, northwest of the city of Syracuse in the Liverpool Central School District, serving ninth to twelfth grade students. It is the only high school within the district, and is the successor to Liverpool Middle School, Soule Road Middle School, Chestnut Hill Middle School, and Morgan Road Middle School. The school is governed under the authority of the New York State Education Department, whose standardized examinations are designed and administered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.

Liverpool Cemetery is a historic cemetery located at Liverpool, Onondaga County, New York, United States. It was established about 1846, and remains an active burial ground containing approximately 3,600 burials. It is notable for the O’Neill family mausoleum, a large granite and marble early-20th century Neoclassical Revival building.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Liverpool is a lakeside village in Onondaga County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 2,242. The name was adopted from the city of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. The village is on Onondaga Lake, in the western part of the town of Salina and is northwest of Syracuse, of which it is a suburb.

The Great Northern Mall was an enclosed regional shopping mall located in the Syracuse suburb of Clay, New York. The mall is currently under development by Hart Lyman Company which will transform the mall into a lifestyle center with luxury apartments and townhomes, a movie theater and hotel, high-end shops and restaurants. The mall served Syracuse's northern suburbs and Onondaga County. Since the center opened in 1988, previous anchors have included The Bon-Ton, Dey Brothers, Chappell's, Macy's, Sibley's, Kaufmann's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Hess's. The mall remained a major shopping mall before ultimately transitioning into a lifestyle center which is currently under development. The later 2010's saw several storied traditional department store retailers update its brick-and-mortar formats after being encroached upon to a degree by several digital retailers in recent years. On January 4, 2017, Macy's, which retains a much larger outpost at Destiny USA, announced that after a strategy had been elected by them to solely focus on their highest achieving locations that they would be leaving this shopping center.On June 28, 2018, it was announced Sears would shutter as part of an ongoing decision to eliminate its brick-and-mortar format.On July 10, 2021 Dick's Sporting Goods transitioned to an entirely new store format at a Wegmans-anchored shopping center less than a mile away.An IHOP opened in front of the mall on March 16, 2021.On August 17, 2022, the mall announced Hart Lyman Company was transforming the mall into a lifestyle center with luxury apartments and townhomes, a movie theater and hotel, high-end shops and restaurants.

The Lucius Gleason House, also known as Liverpool Village Hall and as the Gleason Mansion, is a historic home located at Liverpool, Onondaga County, New York. It was built about 1860, and is a large two-story, Italianate style, stuccoed brick dwelling. It has a telescoping plan with a two-story, hip roofed main block; followed by a smaller two-story, gable roofed wing; and a 1+1⁄2-story gabled appendage.: 2  The Gleason Mansion is now home to the Liverpool Village Museum and Historian's office. Operated by the Liverpool Historical Association, the museum features changing exhibits about local history. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

It is one of ten dioceses, plus the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, that make up Province 2 of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. The diocesan bishop is DeDe Duncan-Probe, eleventh bishop of Central New York, and the diocese's first female bishop. Youth ministry includes C.A.R.E. which makes mission trips. The diocese has also facilitated Mission of Miracles, an annual volunteer medical mission trip to the Diocese of El Salvador, with which the diocese has a long-standing companion relationship. As of 2013, the diocese had a membership of 12,307 down from 21,000 in 2003.

Onondaga Lake Park is an over 8-mile (12.8 km) linear greenway located on the shores of Onondaga Lake in Onondaga County, New York. The park is shared between the towns of Salina and Geddes and the city of Syracuse and is home to the Salt Museum, East Shore Recreation Trail and West Shore Trail.

The Salt Museum near the shore of Onondaga Lake in Liverpool, New York is a museum explaining the salt industry created from salt springs in the Syracuse, New York area. The southern end of the lake was once known as the Onondaga Salt Reservation.The building that houses the museum was built in the 1930s and is believed to be built from wood used in former salt factories.The Erie Canal hastened and expanded the development of the salt industry and the city of Syracuse.

Salina is a town in Onondaga County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 33,223. The name of the town is derived from the Latin word for "salt." Salina is a northern suburb of Syracuse.

The North Syracuse Central School District (NSCSD) is a public school district in Central New York in the United States. The district is located just outside Syracuse, New York. It serves the communities of North Syracuse, Clay, Cicero, Bridgeport, and Mattydale. The District covers 89 sq mi (230 km2) with approximately 5,600 residents. In July 2019, Daniel D. Bowles became the Superintendent of Schools. Daniel has worked for the district since 1997, first as a school counselor at Cicero-North Syracuse High School, then became associate principal at Gillette Road Middle School, principal at Roxboro Road Elementary School in 2001, then became director of elementary education in 2008 and most recently, as the associate superintendent in 2012. He replaced Annette Speach as Superintendent of Schools.The North Syracuse Central School District is the largest of the 23 component school districts in the Onondaga-Cortland-Madison (OCM) Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). As a component of the OCM BOCES, NSCSD participates in its career and technical, alternative and special education programs.

Sainte Marie among the Iroquois (originally known as Sainte Marie de Gannentaha or St. Mary's of Ganantaa) was a 17th-century French Jesuit mission located in the middle of the Onondaga nation of the Iroquois. It was located on Onondaga Lake near modern-day Syracuse, New York. The original mission, led by Jesuit priest Simon Le Moyne, was in use only from 1656 to 1658.A modern replica of the mission’s encampment is in operation as a museum and interpretive center. It is open between May and October as a "living history" project, with costumed interpreters on weekends during the Summer. Sainte Marie among the Iroquois is a living history museum and part of the Onondaga County parks system, and is therefore designated as a municipal park itself. The site, while county-owned, is operated by volunteers who provide all of the programming and maintain the displays. The site is currently being renovated and the interior of the fort is closed.

WHEN (620 kHz "Power 620") is a commercial AM radio station in Syracuse, New York. WHEN airs an urban adult contemporary radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. The station carries The Steve Harvey Morning Show and the Keith Sweat Hotel, which are syndicated by iHeart subsidiary Premiere Networks. The offices and studios are on Plum Street in Syracuse. WHEN is powered at 5,000 watts by day, using a non-directional antenna. To avoid interfering with other stations on AM 620, WHEN reduces power at night to 1,000 watts and uses a directional antenna. The transmitter is off Old Liverpool Road in Liverpool. Programming is also heard on 50 watt FM translator W269DT at 101.7 MHz. It is also simulcast on the HD radio subchannel of WSYR-FM-HD2 at 106.9 MHz.
