Leeds Dutch Reformed Church is a historic Dutch Reformed church on Co. Rt. 23B (Susquehanna Turnpike) in Leeds, Greene County, New York. It was built about 1818 and is a two-story, gable fronted stone church with restrained Federal / Greek Revival style features. It is rectangular in plan, three bays wide and four bays deep. It features a square, two stage belfry topped by an octagonal, metal shingle clad spire added about 1855.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

John Van Vechten House is a historic home located at Leeds in Greene County, New York. It was built in 1891 and is a masonry, 2+1⁄2-story Queen Anne–style dwelling with rectangular massing on a stone foundation. It features large gable wall dormers and a hipped roof with standing seam metal roofing.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Newkirk Homestead, also known as the Newkirk-Garcia House, is a historic home located at Leeds in Greene County, New York. The original structure and basement dates to the 18th century. It is a five-bay, 1+1⁄2-story frame dwelling to which is attached a 2-story, three-bay frame addition completed in the mid-19th century. It features a Greek Revival style portico with four Doric columns, also added in the mid-19th century. Also on the property are a corn crib, two barns, and a barn foundation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Potic Creek is a 10.1-mile-long (16.3 km) tributary to Catskill Creek in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The name comes from the Mahican for a waterfall, originally referring to the falls in the Catskill near Wolcott Mills. Potic also originally referred to the name of the American Indian village below the falls and also of the commanding hill north of the falls.

Salisbury Manor is an historic 1730 farmhouse near Leeds, Greene County, New York. The house was built by Francis Salisbury for his oldest son Abraham. The house was expanded in 1760 and 1823, leading to a mix of architectural styles.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 for its architectural significance and representation of colonial era settlement. It is privately owned.

Vedder Mountain is a mountain in Greene County, New York. It is located in the Catskill Mountains east-northeast of Lawrenceville. Bethel Ridge is located southwest, and Timmerman Hill is located south-southwest of Vedder Mountain.

District School No. 11 is located on South Jefferson Avenue in Catskill, New York. It was built in 1833, with an addition added around 1855. It was operated continuously as a school until 1948. The school was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.This school is an exemplary representation of the one-room school house prevalent in rural New York State in the nineteenth century. In its original form, it was one large room, with three windows along each side. The windows all have operational wooden shutters. The school is built of wood, on a stone foundation. The original building is topped by a belfry with a pyramidal roof. The town of Catskill was split into sixteen districts in the early part of the nineteenth century. In the early days of the school's history, twenty-five students attended the school.In the mid-nineteenth century, New York State implemented school reforms intended to improve public education. One of these reforms was the physical change of the addition of a vestibule to the one-room schoolhouse, in order to set the learning area apart and reduce drafts. Such a vestibule was added to this building in approximately 1855.

The population was 1,122 at the 2020 census.The community of Jefferson Heights is in the town of Catskill, northwest of the village of Catskill. The building that once housed the community hospital is now a medical arts facility.

Kaaterskill Creek is a 25.9-mile-long (41.7 km) tributary of Catskill Creek in Greene and Ulster counties in New York. Via Catskill Creek, it is part of the Hudson River watershed. Kaaterskill Creek rises in the town of Hunter within the Catskill Forest Preserve, northwest of the village of Tannersville. It flows south to the hamlet of Haines Falls, where it turns east and drops precipitously into Kaaterskill Clove, paralleled by New York Route 23A and receiving Spruce Creek from the north, which drops over Kaaterskill Falls. Kaaterskill Creek exits the mountains at the hamlet of Palenville and takes a zigzag course, crossing back and forth between Greene and Ulster counties, before finally turning northeast and flowing to its mouth at Catskill Creek near Cauterskill, New York, just west of the village of Catskill.

Quarry Hill is a mountain in Greene County, New York. It is located in the Catskill Mountains west of Catskill. Kalkberg is located south of Quarry Hill.

The David Van Gelder Octagon House, also known as Springside is located at 21 Walnut Street in Catskill, New York. The brick house was built in 1860. It is architecturally significant as an example of an octagon house. The eight-sided plan was made popular in the mid-19th century by phrenologist Orson Squire Fowler. He called the floor plan "a superior plan". It includes four large square rooms and four small triangular rooms on each of the two floors. Two corners of each of the triangular rooms are small triangular closets. A central stair rises through the house to the cupola on the roof. A kitchen wing was added, likely in the mid-1870s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Benjamin DuBois Stone House, also known as the Captain Martin Stone House is located at 347 West Main Street, Catskill, New York, on the west side of Catskill Creek. It is significant for its architecture and historically for its relation to the settlement of the area. The Dubois family were some of the original white settlers of the town. The house was built in the 1740s. After passing out of the DuBois family, it was owned by Captain Martin, who made extensive renovations to the house in the mid nineteenth century. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. It differs from the DuBois Stone House, though they are both listed at the same address on their National Register of Historic Places nomination forms. The pictures attached to the two forms are of different structures.
