The Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park is an AZA (Association of Zoos & Aquariums) zoo in Syracuse, New York. It is owned and operated by Onondaga County Parks with support from the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. The zoo is home to more than 900 animals representing 216 species on 43 acres (17 ha). Some of the more popular animals include Asian elephants, Humboldt penguins, Amur tigers, a Komodo dragon and the only Giant Pacific octopus exhibit in Central New York. The zoo opened a new Animal Health Center in 2022 that is the largest zoological medical center in New York state outside of the Bronx Zoo. The Rosamond Gifford Zoo has been a continuously accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) since 1987.

Burnet Park is the largest park in Syracuse, New York, USA, covering an area of 88 acres (36 ha). It is located on the west end of the city, in the Far Westside in a neighborhood called Tipperary Hill.

Woodland Reservoir is a 121-million-US-gallon (460,000 m3) reservoir serving the city of Syracuse, New York. The reservoir was built in the 1890s as the receiving end of the new water supply for Syracuse coming by a 19 miles (31 km) pipeline from the Skaneateles Lake. It was designated an American Water Landmark in 1977.

Tipperary Hill, sometimes known as Tipp Hill, is a district in the city of Syracuse, New York. It is largely settled by immigrants from Ireland, especially from County Tipperary. It makes up half of Syracuse's Far Westside neighborhood.

The White House, also known as White Residence, at 176 Robineau Road in Syracuse, New York was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.It was designed by Ward Wellington Ward. The house remains on a plot of .7-acre (2,800 m2).

St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church is a parish of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church located in Syracuse, New York, at the corner of Tompkins Street and Wilbur Avenue. Constructed in 1913, it was the first Eastern Catholic church in the city.In recent years, local business owner, Peter Coleman, resurrected the idea within the local Ukrainian community of erecting a statue of the Ukrainian Bard Taras Shevchenko in front of the church. A committee consisting of Ukrainian-Americans was formed to undertake the task of designing and erecting the monument to Taras Shevchenko. The local Ukrainian community along with several neighbors in Tipperary Hill section of Syracuse raised the necessary funds for the monument. The monument to Taras Shevchenko was dedicated in the autumn of 2005. Attending the dedication and unveiling ceremony were Syracuse Mayor Matt Driscoll, the Consulate General of Ukraine, New York State representatives and a multitude of Ukrainian-Americans. Following the unveiling ceremony, a commemorative concert was held at the Syracuse Ukrainian National Home.

The James Pass Arboretum was established by the City of Syracuse, New York through the philanthropy of Adelaide Salisbury Pass and family with the guidance and cooperation of the State College of Forestry (now SUNY-ESF) to be a classic arboretum in the tradition of the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, Massachusetts, that is, a museum of woody plants designed for education and horticultural display.

Stowell House, also known as Stowell Residence, at 225 Robineau Road in Syracuse, New York, is a home designed by Ward Wellington Ward. It may be the only stone house designed by Ward and also included in the Ward MPS.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

St. Patrick's Church Complex is a historic Roman Catholic church complex located in the Far Westside neighborhood of Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. The complex consists of the church (1871-1872), rectory (1890), school and convent (1909), additions (1930), and shrine in the meditation garden (1959). The church is a one-story, Gothic Revival style brick building measuring 60 feet wide and 128 feet long. It has a basilica plan and features towers of uneven height and weight flanking a central front gable.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
