Beebe Hill State Forest is a state forest in the town of Austerlitz, Columbia County, New York, United States. Compromising 1,383 acres (560 ha) in the Taconic Mountains, it adjoins Harvey Mountain State Forest to the southeast. With around 30 mi (48 km) of multiple-use trails, the area is managed for environmental protection, recreation, and timber harvesting. The 6.5-acre (2.6 ha) Barrett Pond is located within the state forest on the west side of Columbia County Route 5, and was home to numerous fish species when last sampled in 1983.The defunct Beebe Hill Fire Tower is located on the summit of Beebe Hill at an elevation of 1,726 ft (526 m). Initially constructed in 1928 on Alander Mountain in Massachusetts, the tower was moved to Washburn Mountain in Columbia County in 1933, and finally to Beebe Hill in 1964. It remained in operation until 1987. In 1997, local residents, the Forest Fire Lookout Association, and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation began efforts to restore the fire tower and establish access through a network of hiking trails. Along the main trail near the fire tower, a lean-to shelter is available for public use.

Steepletop, also known as the Edna St. Vincent Millay House, was the farmhouse home of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Edna St. Vincent Millay and her husband Eugen Jan Boissevain, in Austerlitz, New York, United States. Her former home and gardens are maintained by the Edna St. Vincent Millay Society, a nonprofit organization that also holds the rights to the poet's intellectual property. Steepletop was declared a National Historic Landmark on November 11, 1971. The Millay Colony for the Arts, founded by Norma Millay Ellis, sister of the poet and heir to her estate, is located on an adjacent plot of land. In 1973, it was established as a separate nonprofit organization from the Edna St. Vincent Millay society (aka, "Millay Society"). The name Steepletop comes from a pink, conical wildflower that grows there known as Steeplebush or Spiraea tomentosa. The Society opened the house for tours in 2010.

Millay Arts, formerly the Millay Colony for the Arts, is an arts community offering residency-retreats and workshops in Austerlitz, New York, and free arts programs in local public schools. Housed on the former property of feminist/activist poet and playwright Edna St. Vincent Millay, the Colony's campus offers residencies, retreats, and classes. Millay Arts' Vincent is an annual journal featuring highlights of Art-in-Residence.

The former Spencertown Academy is located along the NY 203 state highway in Spencertown, New York, United States. It is a mid-19th century building in the Greek Revival architectural style. Founded as a private school for teacher training, it eventually became a public school. It continued to be used in that capacity until 1970. Three years later it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is currently used as an arts center.

The Lace House, also known as the Uriah Edwards House, is located on state highway NY 22 in Canaan, New York, United States. It is a frame house built in the early 19th century. It was designed by the Fuller Brothers in a more formal version of the Federal style brought from New England by settlers from that region at the time of its construction. The original kitchen wing was replaced in the early 20th century. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Pratt Homestead, in Spencertown, New York along SR 203, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Its historic significance is attributed to the degree of attention given to its restoration. It was built around 1760 by a family of Spencertown known to have been among the founding members of this community. It served many purposes, among them being agricultural livestock management, as well as a primary residence. In its 2008 National Register nomination it was deemed:s architecturally and historically significant as a distinctive example of a mid-18th-century house built in the design and with the construction methods of the Connecticut River Valley that is a landmark of the migration of New England settlers into eastern New York in the years prior to the Revolutionary War. Erected sometime after 1757, when the Pratt family is reputed to have purchased lots in Spencertown, the twostory, center chimney house employing plank wall construction is quite unlike the domestic architecture indigenous to New York in the period. In addition, the plan and decoration of the interior epitomizes Connecticut building and design traditions.

North Hillsdale Methodist Church, also known as North Hillsdale United Methodist Church and Wesleyan Chapel of North Hillsdale, is a historic Methodist church located at North Hillsdale in Columbia County, New York. It was built between 1837 and 1838, and is a one-story, timber-frame building in the Greek Revival style. A steeple and monumental portico were added in 1859, and a mixed use addition was built on the rear in 1959. The portico features four Doric order columns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
