Scipio Center is a hamlet in Cayuga County, New York, United States. The community is located along New York State Route 34, 10.3 miles (16.6 km) south of Auburn. Scipio Center has a post office with ZIP code 13147, which opened on February 20, 1934.

Fleming is a town in Cayuga County, New York, United States. The population was 2,475 at the 2020 census. The name is that of General George Fleming, an early settler. Fleming is at the northern end of Owasco Lake, south of Auburn.

Job and Deborah Otis House, also known as East Otis Farm, is a historic home located at Sherwood in Cayuga County, New York. It is a Federal-style dwelling built in 1796. It consists of a 2-story, three-bay, side-hall main block with a 1+1⁄2-story side ell. Also on the property is a mid- to late-19th-century carriage house, now converted into a two car garage. During the 1840s the dwelling was home to Job and Deborah Otis, who were Orthodox Quakers and leaders of the Otisites. Their granddaughter was the painter Amy Otis.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Slocum and Hannah Howland House is located at 1781 Sherwood Road in the hamlet of Sherwood in Cayuga County, New York. It was one of the most active Underground Railroad stations in New York.

The Howland Cobblestone Store, also known as the Howland Stone Store Museum, is an early 19th-century store significant for its unusual cobblestone architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. At the time of its nomination, the owners were in the process of restoring its original appearance by removing the stucco that had covered the cobblestones since the 1850s. That process has since been completed. The store was originally owned by Slocum Howland, a Quaker, abolitionist, prohibitionist and suffragist. Among the items sold in his store was the cast iron plow, invented locally by his brother-in-law Jethro Wood.Cobblestone architecture was highly developed in New York State. A survey identified 660 cobblestone structures in 21 New York counties. There may be approximately 300 elsewhere in the United States, concentrated in Vermont, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois, all areas of similar Northern Tier culture. Many people from Vermont and New York moved west into the upper Midwest states.

Sherwood Equal Rights Historic District is a national historic district located at Sherwood in Cayuga County, New York. The district consists of 29 properties containing 27 contributing primary buildings, one contributing site (cemetery), three contributing carriage houses and one non-contributing building in the historic core of the hamlet of Sherwood. It encompasses the entire hamlet and includes several commercial / civic structures at the intersection of New York State Route 34B and Sherwod Road. The structures commemorate the historical Quaker community's dedication to abolition, women's rights, and education.

Augustus Howland House is a historic home located at 1395 Sherwood Road in Sherwood in Cayuga County, New York. It is a "distinctive high-style Italianate" dwelling built about 1850. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, six bays wide and three bays deep, heavy timber frame dwelling, topped by a low pitched hipped roof. It is sheathed in clapboard and features a two bay wide front pavilion. Included in the listing are four contributing barns (on the south side of Sherwood Road), a laundry building, and two hitching posts.The Howlands were Quakers, and Augustus Howland donated land for the nearby North Street Friends Meetinghouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The North Street Friends Meetinghouse is a brick structure on Brick Church Road near Aurora, New York. It is significant for its associations with abolition, the Underground Railroad and the Women's Rights Movement in Central New York. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Sand Beach Church is a historic Reformed Church church located in the Town of Fleming near Auburn in Cayuga County, New York. It is a vernacular Romanesque Revival style brick structure built in 1854–1855 on the site of an earlier 1807 frame church. The church features a square bell tower that once stood 82 feet high, but was modified to its present form after a fire in 1935. The former church building was purchased by Sean Lattimore on August 3, 2007, for use by the nearby Springside Inn Restaurant. Adjacent to the church is a cemetery with burials dating to the early 19th century. On August 17, 1978; all of the assets of the Owasco Lake Cemetery Association, including both the former Sand Beach Cemetery and adjacent Owasco Lake Cemetery land parcels, were deeded to become owned by the Town of Fleming NY. Noted missionary Samuel Robbins Brown (1810–1880) served as pastor from 1851 to 1859 and in 1867 upon his return from Japan.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Lakeside Park in Owasco, New York is a historic "pleasure ground" park located on Owasco Lake in Cayuga County, New York. It is a 40 acres (16 ha) park located within the boundaries of Emerson Park, a 130-acre (53 ha) municipal park system. The property includes four contributing design and architectural features: the remaining 25 acres (10 ha) park, including the primary and secondary paths and walkways, vistas, vegetation, and cast-iron lampposts and benches; and the Pavilion, Carousel Shelter, and Refreshment / Concession Stand. The park was originally designed and laid out in 1895 by the Auburn and Syracuse Electric Railroad Company. A Charles I. D. Looff carousel was installed in 1900. In 1908, this ride was replaced by another Looff carousel. The focal point of the property is the Pavilion; a Colonial Revival style dance hall and restaurant facility completed in July 1912. The Carousel Shelter, a twelve-sided structure built in 1921, once held a 1915 Herschell Spillman Company carousel with 51 animals. In 1972, it was converted into a summer theater. The Refreshment / Concession was also built in 1921 and moved to its present location in 1921.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
