Vestal, New York

Vestal Central School, also known as Central Junior High School, is a historic school building located at Vestal in Broome County, New York. It was built in 1939 and is a large three to four story, modified "U" shaped structure. It is built of variegated brick over cinder block with a steel frame and a reinforced concrete foundation. The interior features a number of Art Deco style details. Also on the property is the original bus garage built in 1950. The school is now occupied by the Vestal Senior Center, Evergreen Alternative High School, several small businesses, and administrative offices of the Vestal Central School District. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Drovers Inn and Round Family Residence consists of an historic home and an historic inn located at Vestal in Broome County, New York. The Drovers Inn was built about 1844 and the Rounds Family Residence was built 1895–1912. The inn is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame Greek Revival structure with an overlay of elaborate Victorian-era decoration added about 1880. The residence was built in 1895 and features an engaged tower with a bell cast roof added in 1912.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Vestal High School is a public high school that operates as part of the Vestal Central School District which encompasses 57 square miles (150 km2) just west of Binghamton in the Southern Tier of New York. It is a four-year comprehensive school which annually receives both national and state recognition for excellence in education. The high school offers Varsity and Junior Varsity sports as well as musical opportunities in orchestra, band, and chorus. Clubs and student organizations accommodate a wide range of interests, from the physical sciences to martial arts. The mascot of Vestal High School is the Golden Bear named Bruin. Vestal High School holds an annual dance named after the mascot called the King Bruin dance, or KB. Unlike most high schools, Vestal High School does not have a Homecoming dance, but instead a football game and later in the year the King Bruin dance.

Riverside Cemetery (established 1791) is a cemetery set in the "Old Union" district of Endicott, New York, owned and operated by The Union Presbyterian Church. Located at 400 Vestal Avenue, the cemetery has historical significance as the burial place of Joshua and John Mersereau, who fought with George Washington in the Revolutionary War.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Johnson City Square Deal Arch is a historic "welcome arch" located at Johnson City in Broome County, New York. It is one of two identical arches erected in 1920 in Johnson City and in nearby Endicott, known as the Endicott Square Deal Arch. It was originally constructed by Endicott-Johnson Shoe Company employees to honor George F. Johnson (1857–1948), their highly respected employer and benefactor.After being dismantled in 1976 due to deterioration, it was rebuilt in 1982 in the same location.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The school, a part of the Union-Endicott Central School District, enrolls 1,280 students from 9-12 and has a student/teacher ratio of 12.8:1. Union-Endicott was listed as the 4,190th best public high school in the United States in 2021 by U.S. News & World Report on their annual list of Best High Schools in America. In the 2013–14 school year the school had an operating budget of $74,018,097. The only feeder school is Jennie F. Snapp Middle School also located in Endicott.

US Post Office-Endicott is an historic post office building located at Endicott in Broome County, New York. It was designed and built in 1936 and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by a consulting architect for the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Walter Whitlack. It is a one-story, nine bay steel frame, cream-colored brick clad building on a raised granite-clad foundation executed in the Colonial Revival style. The interior features a 1938 mural titled "Excavating for the Ideal Factory" by Douglass Crockwell.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Endicott is a village in Broome County, New York, United States. The population was 13,392 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Binghamton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village is named after Henry B. Endicott, a founding member of the Endicott Johnson Corporation shoe manufacturing company, who founded the community as the "Home of the Square Deal". The village of Endicott is in the town of Union and is west of the city of Binghamton. The community is served by the Greater Binghamton Airport/Edwin A. Link Field. It is part of the "Triple Cities", along with Binghamton and Johnson City.

During its top 40/rock heyday, from the early 1960s through 1975, WENE, under the ownership of Merv Griffin's January Enterprises, was home to many nationally famous talent such as Johnny Donovan, Greaseman, Bob Savage, Dave "Roe" Mason, Ray Ross, Michael J. Raymond, Charlie Burger and Fred "Bumper Morgan" Merrin.

West Endicott Park Carousel is a historic carousel located at Endicott in Broome County, New York. The carousel was purchased about 1929. The carousel is housed in a wooden, one story, 16-sided, enclosed pavilion. The carousel has 36 figures: 34 horses, one pig and one dog, each of which is a "jumper," and two chariots. It was constructed by the Allan Herschell Company. It is one of six carousels donated to the citizens of Broome County by George F. West Endicott Hose Company No. 1 is a historic fire station located at West Endicott, Broome County, New York. It was built in 1926–27 by the Endicott Johnson Corporation as a part of its "Square Deal" program. It is a three-story, rectangular steel frame building, clad in red brick and cast stone. It is five bays wide by 12 bays deep. The front facade features second and third story porches supported by brick piers. The building also houses recreational facilities used by the local community.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

George W. Johnson Park Carousel is a historic carousel located at Endicott in Broome County, New York. The carousel and its pavilion were built in 1934. The carousel is housed in a wooden, one story, 16-sided, pavilion. The carousel has 36 horses standing three abreast, each of which is a "jumper," and two chariots. It was constructed by the Allan Herschell Company. It is one of six carousels donated to the citizens of Broome County by George F.
