Yards Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, specializing in ales, particularly those in the English tradition. In 1994 friends Tom Kehoe and Jon Bovit established Yards after producing their own homebrews since 1988. Within the first few months, "the Yards Guys" were producing one six-keg batch at a time out of their 3.5-barrel brewhouse, and supplying ESA, Entire Porter, and several other cask-conditioned ales to bars. After several partnership changes, Kehoe has continued expanding the Yards brand by moving to larger locations and incrementally increasing the overall output capacity. In 2015, Yards was capable of brewing 55,000 barrels.

Frankford and Delaware Avenue station, also known as the Northern Liberties Loop, is a SEPTA Route 15 trolley station in Philadelphia, United States, located in the Port Richmond neighborhood. The station serves the area surrounding Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The loop opened in 2012 to serve SEPTA Route 15 trolleys. This was due to the I-95 construction near Richmond Street. Trolleys had to be cut back, and buses had to take over to Richmond and Westmoreland Loop. Currently, SEPTA Route 15 is running with buses. There is a possibility that trolleys come back in September 2023.

Fishtown is a neighborhood in the River Wards section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Located northeast of Center City Philadelphia, its borders are somewhat disputed today due to many factors, but are roughly defined by the triangle created by the Delaware River, Frankford Avenue, and York Street. Some newer residents expand the area to Lehigh Avenue, while some older residents shrink the area to Norris Street. It is served by the Market–Frankford Line rapid transit subway/elevated line of the SEPTA system. Fishtown is a largely working class Irish Catholic neighborhood, but has recently seen a large influx of young urban professionals and gentrification.The name Fishtown derives from one of the original occupations of its residents. Early settlers were fishermen, and over time they controlled the fishing rights to both sides of the Delaware River, from Cape May to the falls at Trenton. The apocryphal local legend traces the name of Fishtown to Charles Dickens, who purportedly visited the neighborhood in March 1842, but records show this to be false, as it was named Fishtown prior to his visit, at least as early as 1808, as evidenced in a newspaper article in The Tickler, an early 19th century Philadelphia newspaper.

Northern Liberties Township is a defunct township that was located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, United States. The township ceased to exist and was incorporated into the City of Philadelphia after the passage of the Act of Consolidation, 1854.

The Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church is located at Front and Allen Streets in Philadelphia, PA 19123 in the Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania section of the city; after over 140 years as an independent parish, it became a worship site of the adjacent St. Michael's parish in 2011. The parish celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2019, having been founded in 1869 under the leadership of Bishop James Frederick Wood. Twenty-five years earlier, two Catholic parishes within about a mile of the church—St. Augustine Church, Philadelphia at 4th and Vine and St. Michael [1] at 2nd and Jefferson—were burnt to the ground in violent anti-Catholic nativist riots. The church continued as an independent parish or as a worship site for almost 150 years until, in the fall of 2019, it was announced that the church building would be closed permanently.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia, formerly SugarHouse Casino, is a casino entertainment development along the Delaware River in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's Fishtown neighborhood, one of five stand-alone casinos awarded a gaming license on December 20, 2006 by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Girard Avenue is a major commercial and residential street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For most of its length it runs east–west, but at Frankford Avenue it makes a 135-degree turn north. Parts of the road are signed as U.S. Route 13 and U.S. Route 30.

Girard station is an elevated rapid transit station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line. It is located at the corner of Front Street and Girard Avenue in the Fishtown neighborhood. The station is also served by the Route 15, the historic Girard Avenue trolley line, which runs on tracks in the median of Girard Avenue. The trolley station is known as Front & Girard. SEPTA bus routes 5 and 25 also serve the station, as well as the Route 15 bus which temporarily replaced trolleys on the Richmond Street section of that line during I-95 construction.

Indy Hall is a coworking community with an international online membership and a communal space based in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia. It was originally founded in late 2006, in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia, by Alex Hillman and Geoff DiMasi, making it one of the oldest independent coworking spaces in the United States and the oldest coworking space in the city of Philadelphia.

Spring Garden station is a SEPTA rapid transit station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, on the Market–Frankford Line. It is located on Spring Garden Street between 2nd and Front Streets in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. It is the westernmost station of the Frankford Elevated section of the line and the last westbound station before trains enter Center City Philadelphia. Though the station's official address is on North Front Street, it is actually located in the median of the Delaware Expressway (Interstate 95) over Spring Garden Street, just north of the highway's interchange with the Vine Street Expressway (Interstate 676). The station is also served by two SEPTA City Bus routes, the 25 and 43.

Daniel Boone School is a historic school building located in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was designed by Irwin T. Catharine and built in 1926–1927. It is a four-story, eight bay brick building with a two-story center section in the Late Gothic Revival-style. It features an off-center entrance with arched limestone surround, decorative tile mosaic panels, and a decorative brick and tile cornice. It is named for frontiersman Daniel Boone (1734-1820). It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Green Tree Tavern, also known as the Marlborough Inn, is a historic building in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The tavern had claimed to be the oldest operating tavern in Philadelphia, established in 1849, but is now closed. As of 2012, the property was occupied by a kick-boxing and martial arts studio.
