WDVR (89.7 FM) is a community radio station serving parts of western New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, including New Hope and Trenton. The station, which broadcasts a variety radio format, is licensed to Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Its transmitter tower is on Pittsfield Road near Frenchtown-Flemington Road in Frenchtown, New Jersey. WDVR is owned by Penn-Jersey Educational Radio Corporation. It has its offices and studios on Rosemont-Ringoes Road in Sergeantsville, New Jersey. WDVR is staffed by over fifty volunteers who have expertise in their genre of music or talk. Hosts are free to choose music and create their shows themselves within the boundaries of "family friendly" programming. WDVR is supported by donations from its audience and from local businesses which make underwriting contributions in exchange for being thanked on the air. In addition, WDVR simulcasts on 90.5 WPNJ in Easton, Pennsylvania, and on four FM translators: W245CC at 96.9 MHz in Trenton, New Jersey, W240CY at 95.9 MHz in Mount Bethel, New Jersey, W222BV at 92.3 MHz in Harmony Township, New Jersey and W249BQ at 106.7 in Easton, Pennsylvania. The station website says, "WDVR is the only station in the North East which airs a two-hour, live Traditional Country Music show twice a month before a live audience." The shows are broadcast from the Virginia Napurano Center which is in an old church in Sergeantsville. The station was founded by Frank and Virginia (Ginny Lee) Napurano. It signed on the air on February 19, 1990.

The Stone Sign Post Road Bridge over Plum Brook is a historic Warren truss bridge located in Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. Built in 1903 by John W. Scott of Flemington, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 4, 2016, for its significance in engineering. It was listed as part of the Historic Bridges of Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey Multiple Property Submission (MPS). The 26 foot (7.9 m) long single-span bridge crosses Plum Brook, a tributary of the Wickecheoke Creek, which flows into the Delaware River at Prallsville. According to the nomination form, it is a distinct modification of a traditional Warren truss bridge. Scott also built the nearby Peck's Ferry Bridge, which also crosses Plum Brook.

The Peck's Ferry Bridge is a historic Warren truss bridge that carries Locktown-Flemington Road over Plum Brook in Delaware Township of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. Built in 1900 by John W. Scott of Flemington, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 12, 1999, for its significance in engineering. It was reconstructed in 2004. The 29 foot (8.8 m) long single-span bridge crosses Plum Brook, a tributary of the Wickecheoke Creek, which flows into the Delaware River at Prallsville. According to the nomination form, it is a modified Warren truss bridge. Scott also built the nearby Stone Sign Post Road Bridge over Plum Brook.

The Franklin Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Franklin Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising one school, had an enrollment of 283 students and 29.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.8:1.Franklin Township was one of two districts added to the Interdistrict Public School Choice Program in October 2011, opening up three seats in each grade, a total of 27 student seats, that parents from outside the district may apply to fill to fill starting in the 2012-13 school year.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.Public school students in ninth through twelfth grades attend North Hunterdon High School in Annandale together with students from Bethlehem Township, Clinton Town, Clinton Township, Lebanon Borough and Union Township. As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,584 students and 123.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.9:1. The school is part of the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District, which also includes students from Califon, Glen Gardner, Hampton, High Bridge, Lebanon Township and Tewksbury Township, who attend Voorhees High School in Lebanon Township.

Quakertown is an unincorporated community located within Franklin Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. It was once known as Fairview. The area was settled by Quakers from Burlington County, who organized a meeting house here in 1733. The Quakertown Historic District was listed on the state and national registers of historic places in 1990.

Locktown is an unincorporated community located within Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The settlement is located in the northern portion of Delaware Township near its border with Kingwood Township and the Wickecheoke Creek. The surrounding area is very forested and rural but the settlement includes some historic churches including the Locktown Baptist Church. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The nearby Locktown–Sergeantsville Road truss bridge over Plum Brook was listed on the NRHP in 2025.

The Quaker Meeting House is a historic Quaker meeting house at the intersection of Quakertown Road and White Bridge Road in the Quakertown section of Franklin Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. In 1733, Quaker settlers acquired four acres of land here and built a log house for their first meeting house. A stone church was built here in 1754. The current building is a reconstruction built in 1862 using the original stones from that church. It is a key contributing property of the Quakertown Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 23, 1990. The adjoining burial ground is also contributing to the district. The building is the only Quaker meeting house constructed in Hunterdon County.

Locktown Baptist Church is a historic church in Locktown (Delaware Township), Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1819 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 15, 1974.
