Trent Hills

Westben Performing Arts Theatre, commonly known as Westben, is a 400-seat barn theatre located in Campbellford, Ontario, midway between Toronto and Ottawa. It is operated by the nonprofit organization of the same name, and was constructed by Didier Schwartz of the Sun Wood Company in 2000, opening on Canada Day of that same year. The barn is a located on 50 acres of rural farmland, and was constructed with an emphasis on the surrounding landscape.

CKOL-FM is a community radio station broadcasting at 93.7 FM in Campbellford, Ontario, Canada, with a repeater, CKOL-FM-1 100.7 located in Madoc. Since its first broadcast in 1992, this vibrant community radio station has been serving the Municipality of Trent Hills and the surrounding area with great music and tireless promotion of local talent, business and events. The station has grown over the years, boosting its power from 50 to 500 watts and adding a sister station in Madoc. All musical genres are represented from A to Z (Alternate country to Zydeco). Listeners enjoy big band, blues, bluegrass, country, Celtic, easy listening, folk, gospel, jazz, pop, R&B, rock, rock 'n roll and contemporary releases featuring both international and local musicians. As well, CKOL broadcasts live from community events and meetings and covers community and local council news on a daily basis. CKOL has been designated the official Emergency Information station for the Municipality of Trent Hills Communications System in the event of an emergency requiring public bulletins and ongoing coverage.

Campbellford is an unincorporated place and former town in Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada, in the township municipality of Trent Hills. It lies approximately midway between Toronto and Ottawa. It is situated on both the Trent-Severn Waterway and the Trans Canada Trail. It can be reached from Highway 401 by exiting at Brighton (exit 509) and going north on County Road 30. It can also be reached from Highway 7 at the Havelock exit going south (also on County Road 30). Campbellford is surrounded by prime agricultural land which is home to many farms. In recent years, some of the town's agricultural sector has diversified into non-traditional areas such as bison farming, rare breeds farming and there are many horse farms in the area. The town has a farmers market that is open two days a week in the summer.

Campbellford District High School is a high school in the community of Campbellford in the municipality of Trent Hills, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. As of September 2009 it had 709 students. In the Fraser Institute's Report Card on Ontario's Secondary Schools 2011, the school was ranked 432 out of 727 secondary schools in Ontario with an overall rating of 5.8 out of 10.

Ferris Provincial Park is a provincial park in northeastern Northumberland County in Ontario, Canada. The park occupies an area of 1.98 km2 (0.76 sq mi) next to the Trent River in Campbellford, Ontario. Within the park are 10 kilometres of hiking and mountain biking trails and a suspension bridge over Ranney Gorge. Two campground areas offer 163 sites for car camping (tents to trailers). The park has a boat launch facility available for launching into the Trent River. The park's land was originally owned by James Marshall Ferris and his descendants. The province acquired the lands in 1960 (Cock farm section in 1969) and opened the provincial park in 1962. The park was threatened by closure in 1994, but saved by efforts from the members of the local Rotary Club. The Ranney Gorge suspension bridge was built by 8th Wing CFB Trenton from 2002 to 2004.

The Campbellford Memorial Hospital is an Ontario class C and class G 34-bed hospital in the community of Campbellford, municipality of Trent Hills, Northumberland County in central Ontario, Canada. It opened in 1953, is part of the Central East LHIN and is the largest employer in the community. The emergency department had 20,448 visits between April 2009 and Mar 2010

Seymour is a former incorporated township and now a geographic township located in Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada. It is currently part of the Municipality of Trent Hills. European settlement began in earnest in the 1830s and brothers Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Campbell and Major Robert Campbell were granted 890 acres (360 ha) on the Trent River in 1831. A settlement grew, and in 1876, the Village of Campbellford was separated from Seymour and incorporated as a separate municipality. Seymour was originally part of the United Counties of Northumberland and Durham, then Northumberland after the United Counties were restructured in 1974. In 2001, Seymour was amalgamated with Campbellford, the Village of Hastings and the Township of Percy to form the Town of Campbellford / Seymour, Percy & Hastings. It was renamed Trent Hills later that year. According to the 2001 Census, Seymour had a population of 4,528 at the time of amalgamation.

Hastings/Sweetwater Farms Aerodrome (TC LID: CSW6) is located 2.5 nautical miles (4.6 km; 2.9 mi) northeast of Hastings, Ontario, Canada.

Hastings is a community within the municipality of Trent Hills, Northumberland County, in the province of Ontario, Canada. It is situated on the Trent-Severn Waterway and the Trans Canada Trail in what is considered to be Ontario's "cottage country". It can be reached from Highway 401 by exiting at exit 474 at Cobourg and going north on County Road 45. It can be reached from Highway 7 at the Norwood exit going south (also on County Road 45). Hastings had a population of 1,208 at the 2001 Census. It is known as "The Hub of the Trent" as Hastings is directly on the Trent River and serves as a major centre for tourists, boaters, and fishermen. One of Hastings' notable symbols is a tall, blue water tower which is perched prominently on high ground in the northern portion of the community. Hastings is now part of the municipality of Trent Hills and makes up the second most substantial population centre in the municipality. The position of mayor of Trent Hills was filled in November 2017 by Hastings councillor and deputy mayor Robert Crate, following the death of Hector Macmillan who had served as mayor since 2003. Replacing Bob Crate as Ward 3 Hastings councillor is businessman, Michael Metcalf.A marina was built in Hastings which added to the already bustling waterfront. In continuation of the street-scape design theme from the new Hastings Village Marina a Hastings Waterfront & Downtown Improvement Plan was prepared in early 2009. In 2009, after a four-year break, the local Chamber of Commerce was revived.The largest annual event in Hastings, the Canada Day celebrations, includes amongst other events a parade that runs through downtown during the day and a fireworks display at the waterfront at dusk. In recent years the fireworks display has attracted an increasing number of spectators and despite Hastings being a relatively small community the display has been considered one of the best in Ontario. In 2012 Hastings was named Canada's Ultimate Fishing Town by the World Fishing Network. Muskie, pickerel, pike, walleye, large and smallmouth bass, catfish, perch, crappie, and bluegill are found in Hastings in abundance.

Percy, Ontario was a former incorporated township and now a geographic township located in Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada. It is currently part of the Municipality of Trent Hills. The Township was named in 1798 for Lady Elizabeth Seymour, the wife of Hugh Percy, the first Duke of Northumberland. She later became the Baroness of Percy. Adjoining Seymour Township was given the Baroness' maiden name. A settlement grew, and in 1872, the Village of Hastings was separated from Percy and incorporated as a separate municipality. The community of Warkworth is located in Percy and was the administrative centre for the municipality. Percy was originally part of the United Counties of Northumberland and Durham, then Northumberland after the United Counties were restructured in 1974. In 2001, Percy was amalgamated with Hastings, the Town of Campbellford and the Township of Seymour to form the Town of Campbellford / Seymour, Percy & Hastings. It was renamed Trent Hills later that year. According to the 2001 Census, Seymour had a population of 3,316 at the time of amalgamation.

The Crowe River is a river in the counties of Haliburton, Hastings, Northumberland and Peterborough in southern Ontario, Canada. It is in the Lake Ontario drainage basin and is a tributary of the Trent River.

The Havelock railway station is a former Canadian Pacific Railway station in Havelock, Ontario. It is recognized as a Designated Heritage Railway Station. The station is located at mileage 93.70 of the Canadian Pacific's Havelock Subdivision.The railway station is privately owned and not designated an Ontario Heritage building.
