Merchantville High School was a four-year public high school that operated from 1929 until 1972 in Merchantville, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Merchantville School District.

The Merchantville School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Merchantville, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising one school, had an enrollment of 433 students and 33.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.9:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.Starting in September 2015, for ninth through twelfth grades, students from Merchantville attend Haddon Heights High School as part of a new sending/receiving relationship with the Haddon Heights School District that was approved by the commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Education, joining students from Barrington and Lawnside, who already attend the Haddon Heights school. As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 906 students and 77.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.7:1.

Camden Catholic High School (CCHS) is a four-year comprehensive private coeducational Roman Catholic high school, located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area in Cherry Hill, Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school operates under the supervision of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1934. Camden Catholic students come from the local area and from Norway, Nigeria, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Vietnam, Korea, and China. Many of these students live on campus in the Nazareth House, a convent re-purposed to accommodate foreign students with full-time care-providers on staff, while others live with host families in the surrounding area. As of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 695 students and 54.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.8:1. Camden County Technical Schools Pennsauken Campus, also known as Pennsauken Tech, originally Camden County Vocational School, is a four-year regional vocational-technical public high school located in Pennsauken Township, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States, that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from across Camden County as part of the Camden County Technical Schools. The schools main building opened in 1928 at a time when most county resident lived near Camden and was the district's only campus until the Camden County Technical Schools Gloucester Township Campus opened in 1969 to serve more rural, eastern portions of the county. In 2011, the campus opened the Science and Horticultural Center building to act as a multiple-classroom extension unit. Etched high-up into a portion of the front face of the school's main building is "He who hath a trade, hath an estate," a quote from Benjamin Franklin. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 763 students and 66.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.5:1. There were 460 students (60.3% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 77 (10.1% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Cherry Hill station is a NJ Transit train station in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, United States, on the Atlantic City Line. Eastbound service is offered to Atlantic City and Westbound service is offered to Philadelphia. The station runs through the former Garden State Racetrack property, currently occupied by two separate shopping centers. The station is accessible directly from Route 70 (Marlton Pike). There is also an NJT 450 bus connection at the station, and the 406 bus on Route 70. Cherry Hill station opened on July 2, 1994. It replaced Lindenwold station as a stop on the Amtrak Atlantic City Express until the train's April 2, 1995 discontinuance.Cherry Hill station is much less used than Woodcrest station on the PATCO Lindenwold Line, also in Cherry Hill.

The convention is run by the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society (PSFS). The 1936 Philcon is claimed to be the world's first science fiction convention.

Bishop Eustace Preparatory School is a Catholic coeducational, private high school in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. Founded in 1954 by the priests and brothers of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate (The Pallottines), the school operates under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden, was named after Bishop Bartholomew J. Eustace, first bishop of the diocese. The school is a coeducational institution (prior to 1972, it was all-male) serving students in ninth through twelfth grades. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1977 and is accredited through July 2023.As of the 2017–18 school year, the school had an enrollment of 582 students and 49 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.9:1. The school's student body was 89.3% (520) White, 4.8% (28) Asian, 3.4% (20) Black, 2.2% (13) Hispanic and 0.2% (1) Native Hawaiian / Pacific Islander.The school is a member of the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools.

Stockton Township was a township that existed in Camden County, New Jersey, United States, from 1859 until its dissolution in 1899. However, in the 1850 US Census, Stockton Township is the given enumeration district. Stockton Township was incorporated by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 23, 1859, from portions of Delaware Township (now Cherry Hill Township).On March 3, 1874, the borough of Merchantville was formed from portions of the township. Pennsauken Township was established on February 18, 1892.Stockton was reincorporated as a town on May 1, 1894, based on the results of a referendum held on March 22, 1894.On March 24, 1899, the remaining portion of Stockton was annexed by the City of Camden, thereby forming "East Camden" and its constituent neighborhoods of Cramer Hill, Pavonia, Beideman, Stockton, etc. Stockton Township was dissolved.
