Carver High School was a public secondary school in Pascagoula, Mississippi. It served as the high school for black students until the public schools were integrated in 1971. The building stayed dormant until 2012, when it was reopened as the Aaron Jones Interactive Center, named after a longtime coach at Carver.

The Pascagoula-Gautier School District is a public school system based in Pascagoula, Mississippi. It includes Pascagoula and most of Gautier.

The Old Pascagoula High School is a building in Pascagoula, Jackson County, Mississippi. It opened in January 1939 and closed in June 1997. Designed by the Gulfport architectural firm of Smith & Olschner, the High School was hailed as the "most modern and complete high school unit in the state." Housed within the Art Moderne–style building's 1-foot-thick (0.30 m) walls were; 2 auditoriums, a science laboratory, a large library, a music department, a cafeteria, and business and homemaking classrooms. The school, with a final cost of $150,000, was constructed with funding from the Public Works Administration, a Depression-era federal program that was responsible for thousands of public buildings during the 1930s. Currently vacant, the City of Pascagoula wished to demolish the building and send it the way of the similarly styled Pascagoula South Elementary school. Residents of Pascagoula fought this action and saved the structure from the wrecking ball. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.The Old Pascagoula High School was placed on the 10 most endangered historic places in 2005 by the Mississippi Heritage Trust. As of 2012, the two larger buildings at the Old Pascagoula High School have been renovated into apartments known as Bayside Village Senior Apartments. The larger auditorium (at seating capacity for 755) within the main building is to be restored and may be used for functions by the nearby new high school.

Round Island Lighthouse stood from 1859 to 1998 on the southwest end of Round Island in the Mississippi Sound, 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Pascagoula, Mississippi. In September 1998, the lighthouse was toppled by Hurricane Georges. In 2010, the base of the structure and other lighthouse remnants were removed from Round Island and relocated within the City of Pascagoula for restoration.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement agency located in Jackson County, Mississippi, which is responsible of providing law enforcement services to areas of the county that are unincorporated communities which do not have their own local police force. With over 200 officers, it is the largest law enforcement agency in Jackson County. The current sheriff for the Jackson County Sheriff's Office is John Ledbetter (Acting). The county's largest city in population is Pascagoula, Mississippi.

The Pascagoula Central Fire Station No. 1, at 623 Delmas Ave. in Pascagoula, Mississippi, was built in 1924. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It has also been known as the "Old Fire Station".It was designed in 1919 by Mobile architect Charles Owen but was not built for several years.Since 1982 Scranton's Restaurant has occupied the building.

The Knights of Columbus Hall in Pascagoula, Mississippi, also known as Krebs House, is a Mississippi Landmark. It was listed as a Mississippi Landmark in 2008.

Pascagoula station is a closed intercity train station in Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States. It originally the served the Louisville and Nashville Railroad but was most recently a stop for Amtrak. The station is on the National Register of Historic Places as the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Depot, and was designated a Mississippi Landmark by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. In addition, the station serves as an art gallery owned by the Singing River Art Association.

Resurrection High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Pascagoula, Mississippi. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Biloxi.

WPMO (1580 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Pascagoula-Moss Point, Mississippi. The station airs a sports radio format, and is owned by Noah Britt, through licensee Tri City Radio, LLC. Most programming comes from the CBS Sports Radio Network. By day, WPMO is powered at 5,000 watts. But to protect other stations on 1580 AM from interference, at night it reduces power to 51 watts. It uses a directional antenna at all times, with a two-tower array. The radio studios and transmitter are on Telephone Road in Pascagoula.

The Pascagoula River High Rise Bridge is a bridge in the U.S. state of Mississippi which carries U.S. Route 90 over the East Branch of the Pascagoula River between Gautier and Pascagoula. The bridge opened on June 23, 2003 as a replacement for 4-lane drawbridge. Senator Trent Lott and state Highway Commissioner Wayne Brown were the first people to ride across the bridge.

The LaPointe-Krebs House, also known as the "Old Spanish Fort" and "Old French Fort," was built on the shore of Lake Catahoula (Krebs Lake) near what is now Pascagoula, Mississippi, on land granted to the French Canadian Joseph Simon dit La Pointe. Construction of the house is tentatively believed to have begun circa 1757 based on dendrochronology of structural timbers in the earliest portion of the structure, making it Mississippi's oldest extant historic building and the only French colonial-era structure in the state. It is the oldest scientifically confirmed standing structure on the Gulf Coast of the United States, although the Old Ursuline Convent in New Orleans is known to have been designed by Ignace François Broutin in 1745 and completed by 1753. The LaPointe-Krebs House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 and was designated a Mississippi Landmark in 1984. The LaPointe-Krebs House is owned and operated by the LaPointe-Krebs Foundation as a museum.
