KMOJ (89.9 MHz) is a community-oriented noncommercial FM radio station in Minneapolis, Minnesota, airing a predominantly urban adult contemporary radio format. KMOJ's radio studios are on West Broadway Avenue in Minneapolis, and its transmitter is in Arden Hills. KMOJ features soul, blues, urban gospel, reggae, jazz, hip-hop, spoken word, and talk shows aimed at African American listeners. It is owned and operated by the nonprofit Center for Communications and Development (CCD), on Minneapolis's north side. KMOJ is a member of AMPERS, Minnesota's independent public radio network.

Bethel University is a private Christian university and seminary in Arden Hills, Minnesota, United States. It was founded in 1871 as a seminary and is affiliated with Converge. The university enrolls 5,600 students in undergraduate, graduate, and seminary programs. Its main campus is situated on about 290 acres on the east side of Lake Valentine just south of Interstate 694.

Mounds View High School is a public high school located in Arden Hills, Minnesota, United States. A part of the Mounds View Public Schools district, the high school is located in a suburban area approximately nine miles north of downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul and includes seven cities with 76,193 residents. As of 2014–15 the school had an enrollment of 1735, with a student/teacher ratio of 21.81. The school's enrollment by race/ethnicity breaks down as follows: Asian 13.2%; Black 3.6%; Hispanic 2.6%; White 79.2%; Other 1.4%. It includes grades 9–12 and was founded in 1955. It is one of two high schools that are in the Mounds View Public school district (621), the other being Irondale High School. Most residents of Mounds View, Minnesota, actually attend Irondale High School.

The Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant was a United States Army ammunition plant located in Ramsey County, Minnesota in the current boundaries of the suburbs of Arden Hills and New Brighton, bounded by County Road I to the north, I-35W to the west, U.S. Route 10 to the southwest, County Highway 96 to the south, and Lexington Avenue to the east. The site had 255 buildings across 2,382 acres (9.64 km2). Current land redevelopment involves the removal of these buildings. The site was added to the National Priorities List as a Superfund site on September 8, 1983. The soil, sediments, groundwater, and surface water surrounding the plant were contaminated with base neutral acids, metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, volatile organic compounds, pesticides, cyanide, and explosives. These contaminants entered Rice Creek and from there the ground water in New Brighton.Initially, the plant was known as the Twin Cities Ordnance Plant but it was renamed the Twin Cities Arsenal in 1946 and finally, in 1963, the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant.

KSTP-FM (94.5 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in St. Paul, Minnesota, serving the Minneapolis-St. Paul radio market. It is the flagship FM station of Hubbard Broadcasting and airs a hot adult contemporary radio format. The station has long been known on-air as "KS95." The studios and offices, located on University Avenue, along the boundary line between St. Paul and Minneapolis, are shared with sister stations KSTP (AM), KSTP-TV, KTMY, and KSTC-TV. There is a broadcasting tower behind the station, though it is only used as an emergency back-up, in case there are problems with the main tower (which is located in Shoreview, Minnesota). KSTP-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 95,000 watts (100,000 with beam tilt). The transmitter is located at Telefarm Towers in Shoreview, Minnesota, off County Road F West. KSTP-FM broadcasts in the HD Radio hybrid format; the HD-2 subchannel carries the all sports programming heard on KSTP (AM).

WCCO-TV's programming is also seen on full-power satellite station KCCW-TV (channel 12) in Walker (with transmitter near Hackensack). Nielsen Media Research treats WCCO-TV and KCCW-TV as one station in local ratings books, using the identifier name WCCO+. From 1987 until 2017, WCCO-TV operated a second satellite, KCCO-TV (virtual and VHF digital channel 7) in Alexandria (with transmitter near Westport). The five outlets share studios on University Avenue, on the Saint Paul–Minneapolis border; KSTP-TV's transmitter is located at Telefarm Towers in Shoreview, Minnesota. KSTP-TV operates two full-power satellite stations: KSAX (channel 42) in Alexandria (with transmitter near Westport), and KRWF (channel 43) in Redwood Falls (with transmitter near Vesta). KSTP-TV also serves as the default ABC affiliate for the Mankato market, as that area does not have an ABC affiliate of its own. KNOW-FM (91.1 FM) is the flagship radio station of Minnesota Public Radio's news and information network, primarily broadcasting a talk radio format to the Minneapolis-St. Paul market. The frequency was the original home of KSJN, but the purchase of a commercial station at 99.5 MHz in 1991 allowed MPR to broadcast distinct talk radio and classical music services. KNOW-FM's studios are located in the MPR Broadcast Center on Cedar Street in downtown St. Paul, while its transmitter is located on the Telefarm Towers in Shoreview.

Nazareth Hall Preparatory Seminary (known also as Naz Hall) was a high school seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota, serving the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. It was founded in 1923 by Archbishop Austin Dowling and was closed in 1971, being replaced by Saint John Vianney Seminary. The campus is now the site of the University of Northwestern – St. Paul.
