The 2nd World Scout Jamboree was held from August 9 to 17, 1924 and was hosted by Denmark at Ermelunden.

Fortunen is a neighbourhood in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, located north of Copenhagen. It is located south of Hjortekær and east of Lundtofte and Kongens Lyngby. To the east of Fortunen is Jægersborg Dyrehave. Fortunen has existed since at least 1670, and was given royal permissions to house an inn since 1766.

Jægersborg Barracks (Danish: Jægersborg Kaserne), also known as Jægergården, is a former military facility located on Jægersborg Allé in Gentofte in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was converted into housing in 2010.

Schæffergården, formerly Jægersborghus, is a Rococo-style mansion located on Jægersborg Allé in Jægersborg, Gentofte Municipality, some 15 kilometres north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The listed main building was built by court carpenter Dietrich Schäffer in 1755-1756 . It has been owned by the Foundation for Danish-Norwegian Cooperation since the 1940s and is now operated as a conference centre following several renovations and expansions of the complex by architect such as Kaare Klint.

The Garderhøj Fort (Danish: Garderhøjfortet) is Danish fortification, and was part of Copenhagen's fortifications.

Bernstorff Palace (Danish: Bernstorff Slot) in Gentofte, Copenhagen, Denmark, was built in the middle of the 18th century for Foreign Minister Count Johann Hartwig Ernst von Bernstorff. It remained in the possession of the Bernstorff family until 1812. In 1842, it was bought by Christian VIII. For many years, it was used as a summer residence by Christian IX until his death in 1906. Since then and until recently, it was used by the Danish Emergency Management Agency as an academy for non-commissioned officers, but it has now opened as a hotel and conference centre.

Gentofte station is a station on the Hillerød radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark, served by E-trains to Hillerød/Holte and Copenhagen. It is located centrally in Gentofte municipality.

In the Gentofte train crash at Gentofte station, Denmark, on the island of Zealand, on 11 July 1897 an express train pulled by a DSB class CS (0-4-2) number 245 passed a signal cautioning danger and collided with a stationary passenger train waiting at the station. There were 40 deaths and more than 100 people were injured.

Gentofte Sportspark (formerly Gentofte Stadion) is a multi-purpose stadium in Gentofte near Copenhagen, Denmark. The stadium holds 15,000 people. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Hellerup IK. Other sports clubs based in the sports park include the ice hockey team Gentofte Stars and the badminton club Gentofte BK. The stadium has also been used for concerts.

Femvejen 2 is a Modernist villa situated at the corner of Bernstorffsvej and Jægersborg Allé, next to the Femvejen roundabout, in Gentofte Municipality, in northern Copenhagen, Denmark. Built in 1933–34 for artists Adam and Ellen Fischer to designs by their friend and fellow artist Georg Jacobsen, all of whom lived in Paris at the time, its design reflects the Fischers' and Jacobsen's shared interest in Cubism. The house contains Fischer's atelier. Its next owner was the painter Victor Brockdorff. The house and a detached outhouse were both listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 2010.

Hjortekær is a neighbourhood in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden. It is located north of Fortunen, east of Lundtofte and west of Jægersborg Dyrehave. The Technical University of Denmark has used localities in Hjortekær for surveying education since 1890.
