The Airport Flyover is a road bridge over the Southern Cross Way in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The Airport Flyover links the Airport Link toll road with Airport Drive providing direct access to Brisbane Airport terminals. The east bound lanes were opened in early November 2010, more than a year earlier than originally planned. The westbound lanes were opened on 28 February 2011.The Airport Flyover is a four lane, 750-metre (2,460 ft) long cantilever bridge over the Southern Cross Way overpass. Construction began in April 2009. The total cost for the roundabout upgrade cost A$327 million and it was designed and built by a Thiess/John Holland Group joint venture. 10 minutes of travel time is expected to be saved by construction of the bridge.The Airport Flyover with an intersection below, replaced the Airport Roundabout which was described as the worst congestion black spot in the South East Queensland. Up to 17 million vehicles crossed the intersection every year.

In the 2016 census, Nundah had a population of 12,141 people.Prior to European settlement, Nundah was inhabited by Aboriginal people from the Turrbul tribe. Nundah is primarily a residential suburb, which straddles Sandgate Road, one of the major arterial roads of Brisbane's north. It was first settled by Europeans in the mid-19th century, although the suburb remained primarily a rural area until it was connected to Brisbane via railway in the 1880s. Originally considered a working-class suburb, the area has become gentrified in recent years, and today features a mix of traditional worker's cottages and modern high-density apartment blocks. It is close to the Centro Shopping Centre.

Toombul Shopping Centre was a suburban shopping centre located in the locality of Toombul which is part of Nundah, a suburb of the City of Brisbane in the state of Queensland, Australia. The centre was anchored by Target and Kmart discount department stores, Coles supermarket, Aldi Food Store, an 8-screen Event Cinema and more than 140 specialty stores including Daiso. The centre opened on 11 October 1967 by The Westfield Group. Over the years it had been remodelled from its original form with several extensions, the most recent being a new dining and entertainment precinct upgrade on the second level. Toombul was the largest shopping centre on Brisbane's northside until Westfield Chermside's redevelopment in 1999-2000. The centre experienced severe damage due to flooding in February 2022, and a decision has been made to not reopen the shopping centre. Business owners have been receiving letters informing them "it is impractical and undesirable to reinstate the centre to how it was prior to the flooding damage". "As a result, to provide our retailers with certainty we have taken the difficult decision to close Toombul Shopping Centre and terminate all leases," the correspondence said.

Nundah railway station is located on the North Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It is one of two stations serving the Brisbane suburb of Nundah, the other being Toombul station. Nundah station opened in 1882 as German station, before being renamed to Nundah within six weeks of opening. The station was rebuilt in 1960. On 29 November 1999, two extra platforms opened as part of the quadruplication of the line from Bowens Hills to Northgate.
