Rittenhouse Square is a neighborhood, including a public park, in Center City Philadelphia. Rittenhouse Square often specifically refers to the park, while the neighborhood as a whole is referred to simply as Rittenhouse. The park is one of the five original open-space parks planned by William Penn and his surveyor Thomas Holme during the late 17th century. The neighborhood is among the highest-income urban neighborhoods in the country. Together with Fitler Square, the Rittenhouse neighborhood and the square comprise the Rittenhouse–Fitler Historic District. Rittenhouse Square Park is maintained by the non-profit group The Friends of Rittenhouse Square. The square cuts off 19th Street at Walnut Street and also at a half-block above Manning Street. Its boundaries are 18th Street to the east, Walnut St. to the north, Rittenhouse Square West (a north–south boundary street), and Rittenhouse Square South (an east–west boundary street), making the park approximately two short blocks on each side.

The Love is an American restaurant located in Philadelphia. The Oliver H. Bair Funeral Home is a historic building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The five-story building, built in 1907 from the designs of architect John T. Physicians and Dentists Building, also known as the Professional Building, is a historic office building located in the Rittenhouse Square West neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was designed by the architectural firm of Wilson Brothers & Company and built in 1896. It is a 10-story with attic, "T"-shaped steel framed building. It has a limestone faced front facade and brick sides. It features a projecting entrance portico with Corinthian order columns and shallow projecting, three-sided bays.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Boyd Theatre was a 1920s era movie palace in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It operated as a movie theater for 74 years, operating under the name Sameric as part of the United Artists theater chain, before closing in 2002. The theater was the last of its kind in downtown Philadelphia, a remnant of an era of theaters and movie palaces that stretched along Market and Chestnut Streets. The Boyd's auditorium was demolished in the Spring of 2015 by its current owner Pearl Properties, which plans to replace it with a 24 story residential tower.

The Belgravia Hotel, also known as Peale House, is a historic building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It was listed on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on June 3, 1982.The building was formerly the site of a hotel but has been developed into condominiums. Famous former residents include violist William Primrose and violinist Efrem Zimbalist.

The Barclay Hotel was located at 237 S. 18th St. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Rittenhouse Square. Opened in October 1929, it was, at one time, the most famous hotel in the city, and was owned by the well-known developer John McShain. After a later owner went into bankruptcy in 1992, the property was sold in 1994 and was converted to condominiums. The hotel was the site of the FBI's Abscam sting operation in 1980, which exposed corruption in government. Federal agents posing as Arab sheikhs rented a suite here, where they solicited the help of local, state and federal officials.The hotel was first put up for sale in 1989 for approximately $30 million. In April 1992, owner Barclay Hotel Associates filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The property was purchased by Princeton developer Peter Marks for $4.3 million on Monday, October 31, 1994. Construction on the Barclay Condominiums was completed in 2005.
