National Museum of Dentistry

The College of Medicine of Maryland, or also known since 1959 as Davidge Hall, is a historic domed structure in Baltimore, Maryland. It has been in continuous use for medical education since 1813, the oldest such structure in the United States. A wide pediment stands in front of a low, domed drum structure, which housed the anatomical theater. A circular chemistry hall was housed on the lower level under the anatomical theater.

The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is a teaching hospital with 806 beds based in Baltimore, Maryland, that provides the full range of health care to people throughout Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region. It gets more than 26,000 inpatient admissions and 284,000 outpatient visits each year. UMMC has approximately 9,050 employees at the UMMC Downtown Campus, as well as 1,300 attending physicians and 950 resident physicians across the Downtown and the Midtown campuses. UMMC provides training for about half of Maryland's physicians and other health care professionals. Heiser, Rosenfeld, and Strauss Buildings, also known as Inner Harbor Lofts I, is a historic loft building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a complex of three structures. The Heiser Building is a Romanesque Revival style, six-story brick, stone, and iron structure, eight bays wide and 14 bays deep, built as a show factory in 1886. The Rosenfeld Building is a six-story, five-bay loft building, with Beaux Arts styling and built for E. Rosenfeld and Company in 1905. The Strauss Building is a six-story high, six-bay wide, and 11-bay deep loft structure built in 1887 for the Kinny Tobacco Company, cigarette manufacturers, and later occupied by the Strauss Brothers, clothing manufacturers and became part of the Rosenfeld complex around 1910.Heiser, Rosenfeld, and Strauss Buildings was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Turner-White Casket Co. Building was a historic loft building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was a six-story loft building constructed in 1893 in the Romanesque style. Its façade organization and detailing featured brick, stone, and cast iron elements. It was two bays wide and six stories high with a full basement. It was constructed as a factory with street level display rooms that was rehabilitated in the 1990s. The Turner-White Casket Co. occupied the building from 1931 to 1965. A 2012 photograph shows that a parking lot now occupies the building site. Turner-White Casket Co. Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (also referred to simply as Shock Trauma) is a free-standing trauma hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and is part of the University of Maryland Medical Center. It was the first facility in the world to treat shock. Shock Trauma was founded by R Adams Cowley, considered the father and major innovator of trauma medicine.

The Loft Historic District North is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It includes 12 large 19th–early 20th century vertical brick manufacturing buildings centering on Paca, Redwood, and Eutaw Streets near the University of Maryland Campus in downtown Baltimore. Most of the buildings are still used for manufacturing purposes, although a few, including the Heiser, Rosenfeld, and Strauss buildings, have been converted into loft apartments or offices. They are representative of Romanesque, Victorian, and early modern industrial architectural design. It was in this area that Baltimore's garment industry grew to national importance.The Loft Historic District North was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Sonneborn Building, also known as Paca-Pratt Building, is a historic loft building in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Designed by Theodore Wells Pietsch, it is a nine-story loft building constructed in 1905 of "fireproof" reinforced-concrete construction, faced in buff-colored brick, with a coursed ashlar foundation and stone trim. Its detailing reflects the Neoclassical Revival of the early 20th century. It was built for Henry Sonneborn and Company as a vertical clothing manufactory and was the tallest and largest strictly manufacturing building in the city of Baltimore.Sonneborn Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is located in the Loft Historic District South.

The Loft Historic District South is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It includes seven large brick manufacturing buildings on both sides of the 500 block of West Pratt Street near the University of Maryland campus in downtown Baltimore. Of the seven buildings, four have been converted into a loft apartment building complex known as the Greenehouse. The district includes the Sonneborn Building.The Loft Historic District South was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Erlanger Buildings is a historic loft building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It consists of a four-structure, turn-of-the-20th-century loft complex. The buildings range in size from two to six stories high and feature iron storefronts and stone detailing. They were built between 1892 and 1910. The buildings served as the home of the Erlanger Manufacturing Company, which produced BVD brand underwear. Charles Erlanger, co-founder of the company, is credited with making major advances in the design of underwear which revolutionized the industry.The Erlanger Buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. They are included in the Baltimore National Heritage Area.

Building at 419 West Baltimore Street, also known as Harry Guss Inc., is a historic retail and wholesale building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a three-story gable-roofed Flemish bond brick Federal-style building built about 1840. Around 1875, a four-bay cast-iron storefront was added at street level. It was used in the garment manufacturing and sales industries.Building at 419 West Baltimore Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Building at 423 West Baltimore Street is a historic retail and wholesale building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a five-story loft structure of the Queen Anne style. It achieved its present configuration in 1893, as the result of extensive alteration of an existing three-story brick warehouse. The storefront retains its important cast-iron elements, and the upper floors are essentially unchanged.Building at 423 West Baltimore Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (formerly University of Maryland School of Law) is the law school of the University of Maryland, Baltimore and is located in Baltimore City, Maryland, U.S. Its location places Maryland Law in the Baltimore-Washington legal and business community. Founded in 1816, it is one of the oldest law schools in the United States. The law school is fully accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA). It is a member of the Association of American Law Schools and has a chapter of the Order of the Coif honor society.
