It was used in the garment manufacturing and sales industries.Building at 419 West Baltimore Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

It achieved its present configuration in 1893, as the result of extensive alteration of an existing three-story brick warehouse. The storefront retains its important cast-iron elements, and the upper floors are essentially unchanged.Building at 423 West Baltimore Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The building next door at 407 West Baltimore, the L. Frank & Son Building, was listed at the same time.

It was constructed for Samuel Stein & Bros., and occupied by a dealer in iron ranges and furnaces, and later a series of shoe and clothing manufacturers.L. Frank & Son Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building at 409 West Baltimore Street, next door, was listed at the same time.

The Loft Historic District North is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It includes 12 large 19th–early 20th century vertical brick manufacturing buildings centering on Paca, Redwood, and Eutaw Streets near the University of Maryland Campus in downtown Baltimore. Most of the buildings are still used for manufacturing purposes, although a few, including the Heiser, Rosenfeld, and Strauss buildings, have been converted into loft apartments or offices. They are representative of Romanesque, Victorian, and early modern industrial architectural design. It was in this area that Baltimore's garment industry grew to national importance.The Loft Historic District North was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Baltimore General Dispensary is a historic public dispensary building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It opened in 1801 to provide medical and health services to the poor in Baltimore. It is the oldest institution of its kind in Maryland. It is three bays wide and two stories high, with running bond red brick foundation and building walls, and a water table constructed in 1911. The front features a simple cornice surmounting a stone entablature reading: 1801 Baltimore General Dispensary 1911. It is the only surviving building designed for Baltimore's oldest charity. The interior originally featured a large dispensary center on the first floor, separated for black and white patients. The rooms for surgical and medical aid on the second floor gave the poor a measure of privacy rarely available to charity patients.Baltimore General Dispensary was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Baltimore Grand is a historic bank building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It occupies two historic bank buildings, the former Western National Bank (1881, remodeled 1912) and the former Eutaw Savings Bank (1887, remodeled 1911), which were connected in 1989 and adaptively reused to create a commercial catering and banquet facility. It features a large arched window above the entrance portico that is framed by paired fluted pilasters with Corinthian capitals extending to the cornice line.The former Eutaw Savings Bank is a Classical Revival brownstone, built when the bank vacated the Baltimore Equitable Society Building across the street. The original building was designed by Charles L. Carson. A 1911 addition was designed by Baldwin and Pennington. Further alterations were carried out in 1912 by the firm of George C Haskell, a Carson protégé, and his partner G. Summerfield Barnes. Baltimore Grand was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Paca Street Firehouse, also known as Truck House No. 2, is a historic fire station located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The architect of Paca Street Firehouse is John E. Lafferty. It is a 1909 two-story brick structure with a highly detailed stone Renaissance Revival façade. The principal space is a large room subdivided at the Paca Street end into offices. It is one of three early 20th century firehouses standing and is the only one to retain its original features, particularly in the interior.Paca Street Firehouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Eutaw Street is a major street in Baltimore, Maryland, mostly within the downtown area. Outside of downtown, it is mostly known as Eutaw Place. The south end of Eutaw Street is at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. After this point, the street continues as a pedestrian walkway inside the stadium. A sign above this entrance is marked "Eutaw Street."Eutaw Street is famously known as the location of Lexington Market.The north end of Eutaw Street is at Dolphin Street. The street continues past this point under the name Eutaw Place through the communities of Bolton Hill and Reservoir Hill, and ends at Druid Park Lake Drive. Eutaw Street is prefixed with North or South depending on whether it is north or south of Baltimore Street. Eutaw Place does not have such a directional designation.Eutaw Place was called Gibson Street until 1853. This area was known as a home to the wealthy, particularly the affluent German-Jewish community of Baltimore.The Baltimore Metro Subway runs below a large part of Eutaw Street. Two of its stations, State Center and Lexington Market, are located along Eutaw Street.

Heiser, Rosenfeld, and Strauss Buildings, also known as Inner Harbor Lofts I, is a historic loft building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a complex of three structures. The Heiser Building is a Romanesque Revival style, six-story brick, stone, and iron structure, eight bays wide and 14 bays deep, built as a show factory in 1886. The Rosenfeld Building is a six-story, five-bay loft building, with Beaux Arts styling and built for E. Rosenfeld and Company in 1905. The Strauss Building is a six-story high, six-bay wide, and 11-bay deep loft structure built in 1887 for the Kinny Tobacco Company, cigarette manufacturers, and later occupied by the Strauss Brothers, clothing manufacturers and became part of the Rosenfeld complex around 1910.Heiser, Rosenfeld, and Strauss Buildings was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
