Ju Jun (Chinese: 橘郡; pinyin: Jú jùn; lit. 'Orange County') is a $60 million, 143-unit housing development situated about one hour north of Beijing, China, consisting entirely of expensive American-style townhouses and tract homes, decorated and furnished with American products. The Chinese developer Zhang Bo built the community to anticipate the 2008 Olympics to be held in Beijing.All 143 units were sold within a month of going on sale, in a phenomenon the Beijing media called "The Orange Storm." Designed by architect Aram Bassenian of Bassenian/Lagoni Architects from Newport Beach, California in Orange County, California, the Orange County development is an example of wealthy Chinese adopting the suburban American built form.

The China Aviation Museum (Chinese: 中国航空博物馆; pinyin: Zhōngguó Hángkōng Bówùguǎn) is an aviation museum located in Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the People's Liberation Army Air Force and co-sponsored by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China. The museum is a national first-class museum accredited by the National Cultural Heritage Administration.The China Aviation Museum was first opened to the public on 11 November 1989, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army Air Force. Part of the museum is located inside a cave in the side of Datangshan Mountain. The cavern was originally part of the tunnels and underground bunker system of Shahezhen Airbase, and is 586 metres (1,923 feet) long by 11 metres (36 feet) high by 40 metres (130 feet) wide.

Xingshou Town (simplified Chinese: 兴寿镇; traditional Chinese: 興壽鎮; pinyin: Xìngshòu Zhèn) is a town located in the east end of Changping District, Beijing, China. Bounded by Taihang Mountain Range to its immediate north, Xingshou shares border with Qiaozi and Yanshou Towns in the north, Beishicao and Zhaoquanying Towns in the east, Xiaotangshan Town in the south, and Cuicun Town in the west. It had a total population of 34,139 as of 2020.Xingshou (Chinese: 兴寿; lit. 'Rise Lifespan'), The name of the town, came from Chongshou Buddhist Temple (崇寿禅寺), also named "Xingshouli" (兴寿里), that was built in the region during the Liao dynasty.

Cuicun Town (simplified Chinese: 崔村镇; traditional Chinese: 崔村鎮; pinyin: Cuīcūn Zhèn) is a town within Changping District, Beijing, China. Bounded by part of Taihang Mountain Range to its north, Cuicun borders Yanshou Town in its north, Xingshou Town in its east, Xiaotangshan and Baishan Towns in its south, as well as Nanshao and Shisanling Towns in its west. The result of the 2020 census indicated that the town was home to 24,630 inhabitants.The name of this town literally translates to "Cui's Village", and it was given for the town government's location between the Dongcui and Xicui Villages.

Beiqijia Town (simplified Chinese: 北七家镇; traditional Chinese: 北七家鎮; pinyin: Běiqījiā Zhèn) is a town located in the southwestern corner of Changping District, Beijing, China. It borders Baishan and Xiaotangshan Towns in the north, Houshayu Town and Sunhe Township in the east, Laiguangying Township and Tiantongyuanbei Subdistrict in the south, Dongxiaokou Town in the southwest, and Shahe Town in the west. Its census population was 308,907 as of 2020.

The Ministry of Public Security Qincheng Prison (Chinese: 公安部秦城监狱) is a maximum-security prison located in Qincheng Village, Xingshou, Changping District, Beijing in the People's Republic of China. The prison was built in 1958 with aid from the Soviet Union and is the only prison belonging to China's Ministry of Public Security. The Ministry of Justice operates other non-military prisons. Political prisoners have been incarcerated in Qincheng, among them participants in the Chinese democracy movement and Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. Famous former inmates include Li Rui, Jiang Qing, Yuan Geng, Bao Tong, Dai Qing, as well as Tibetan figures such as the 10th Panchen Lama Choekyi Gyaltsen and Phuntsok Wangyal. Other inmates included many communist cadres who struggled during the Cultural Revolution, such as Bo Yibo, Peng Zhen, Liu Xiaobo, Israel Epstein, Sidney Rittenberg and David Crook. More recently, high-ranking officials accused of corruption such as Chen Xitong, Chen Liangyu, Bo Xilai, and Zhou Yongkang were also imprisoned here. The prison is located at the eastern foothill of Yanshan, facing the North China Plain in the east, north and south. The plain is where Qincheng Farm (Chinese: 秦城农场; pinyin: Qínchéng Nóngchǎng) is located, which is part of the prison.

Baishan Town (simplified Chinese: 百善镇; traditional Chinese: 百善鎮; pinyin: Bǎishàn Zhèn) is a town located in the eastern part of Changping District, Beijing, China. Bounded by part of Taihang Mountain Range in its north, Baishan is located south of Nanshao and Cuicun Towns, west of Xiaotangshan Town, as well as north and east of Shahe Town. Its population was 36,546 as of 2020.

Tiantongyuanbei station (Chinese: 天通苑北站; pinyin: Tiāntōngyuàn Běi Zhàn) is a station on and the northern terminus of Line 5 of the Beijing Subway. The station has 2 elevated side platforms.

Pingxifu station (Chinese: 平西府站; pinyin: Píngxīfǔ zhàn) is a station on Line 8 of the Beijing Subway.

Huoying Subdistrict (simplified Chinese: 霍营街道; traditional Chinese: 霍營街道; pinyin: Huòyíng Jiēdào) is a subdistrict situated within Changping District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Dongxiaokou Town in the north and east, Xisanqi and Huilongguan Subdistricts in the south, and Longzeyuan Subdistrict in the west. According to the result of 2020 Chinese census, the subdistrict's population was 93,545.This region was once called Huoshaoying (Chinese: 火烧营; lit. 'Fire Burning Camp') Village during the Qing dynasty. As the number of people with the surname Huo increased, it was later changed to Huoying.

Huilongguan Dongdajie station (simplified Chinese: 回龙观东大街站; traditional Chinese: 回龍觀東大街站; pinyin: Huílóngguàn Dōngdàjiē zhàn; lit. 'Huilongguan East Street') is a station on Line 8 of the Beijing Subway.

Tiantongyuan Station (Chinese: 天通苑站; pinyin: Tiāntōngyuàn Zhàn) is a subway station on Line 5 of the Beijing Subway.
