Cawston Ostrich Farm

Judson Studios is a fine arts studio specializing in stained glass located in the Highland Park section (also known as Garvanza) of northeast Los Angeles. The stained glass studio was founded in the Mott Alley section of downtown Los Angeles in the mid-1890s by English-born artist William Lees Judson and his three sons. It moved to its current location in 1920 and remains in operation as a family-run business. The Judson Studios building was named a Historic-Cultural Landmark by the City of Los Angeles in 1969 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Rancho Huerta de Cuati was a 127-acre (0.51 km2) Mexican land grant in the San Rafael Hills area of present-day Los Angeles County, California given in 1838 by governor Juan Alvarado to Victoria Reid. The name means "Cuati Garden" in Spanish. The rancho included present-day Alhambra, San Marino, South Pasadena, and Pasadena—and Lake Wilson (now San Marino's Lacy Park).

The Santa Fe Arroyo Seco Railroad Bridge in Highland Park, Los Angeles, is more than 710 feet (220 m) long and crosses the Arroyo Seco Parkway at an elevation of over 56 feet (17 m). It is the tallest and longest railroad span in the city of Los Angeles, and most likely the oldest such structure still in use. The bridge crosses the lower part of the Arroyo Seco, a watershed canyon from the San Gabriel Mountains. The Santa Fe Arroyo Seco bridge, built in 1896, replaced the 1889 wooden trestle used by the Southern California Railway, which was a subsidiary of the Santa Fe Railroad. The 1889 bridge, designed by Santa Fe's chief structural engineer Fred T. Perris, replaced the original 1885 wooden trestle bridge built by the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley Railroad. Rail service ended in 1994 and in the late 1990s, the bridge was retrofitted to accommodate the Los Angeles MTA's Gold Line light rail system which opened on July 26, 2003.Advocated by the Highland Park Heritage Trust and Charles J. Fisher, the bridge was declared City of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 339 on January 22, 1988.

Pisgah Home Historic District is a historic district in the Highland Park section of Los Angeles, California. It was the site of the Pisgah Home movement begun by faith healer and social reformer, Finis E. Yoakum, in the early 1900s. The site is closely aligned with the founding of the modern Pentecostal church. It has been a mission used for religious and charitable purposes for more than 100 years. The area today is operated as the Christ Faith Mission/Old Pisgah Home.

Los Angeles College Prep Academy is a charter school in Hermon, Los Angeles, California, near El Sereno. It occupies the campus of the former Pacific Christian High School.

Hermon is a neighborhood in the northeast area of Los Angeles. It was established in 1903 and became part of Los Angeles in 1912.

The Highland Park Police Station on York Boulevard in the Highland Park section of Los Angeles, California, USA is the city's oldest surviving police station. Closed in 1983, the station is now operated as the Los Angeles Police Museum. It has been designated as a Historic Cultural Monument and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The southernmost of the Pasadena Arroyo Seco bridges, the San Rafael Bridge was constructed in 1922 in Pasadena, California. Like the Colorado Street Bridge built in 1913 and La Loma Bridge (renamed John K. Van De Kamp Bridge in 2017) built in 1914, the San Rafael Bridge is an open-spandrel concrete arch bridge that is open to pedestrians and car traffic. It was strengthened in 1990. Stylistically speaking, the open spandrel area is simpler than that of the La Loma Bridge. The lights are cast iron and the balustrade has classical details. The bridge is 581 feet long, 68 feet high, and 32 feet wide. Edwin Dewey was the city engineer overseeing the project. At one time, the San Rafael Bridge was called the Columbia Street Bridge. The bridge carries Laguna Road over the Arroyo to the San Rafael Heights neighborhood in Pasadena. Since the bridge carried the telephone, gas, electrical, and sewer systems, it was instrumental in the development of San Rafael Heights.The stairs near the San Rafael Bridge are also noteworthy. The stairs once led to Busch Gardens, the personal gardens of Adolphus Busch, co-founder of Anheuser-Busch. Busch Gardens was open to the public in 1906 and closed in 1938. It was a major tourist attraction for many years.The San Rafael Bridge is eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.

Wynyate is a historic house in South Pasadena, California, U.S.. It was built circa 1887 for Donald M. Graham, the first mayor of Pasadena, and his wife, author Margaret Collier Graham. It was designed in the Victorian architectural style. Authors Mary Hunter Austin and Charles Fletcher Lummis were frequent guests, as was John Muir, who planted a eucalyptus tree in the garden in 1889. The house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 24, 1973.

The John Norton House is a historic house located at 820 Burleigh Drive in Pasadena, California. Built in 1954, the Modernist house was designed by Buff, Straub, and Hensman. The house is located in an arroyo below street level and is integrated with the surrounding nature, including a stream which flows past the front door. The house has a post-and-beam structure and features an open interior plan, a large deck, and large groups of exterior windows.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 10, 2009.

South Pasadena station (formerly Mission station) is an at-grade light rail station on the L Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is located at the intersection of Mission Street and Meridian Avenue in South Pasadena, California, after which the station is named. The station opened on July 26, 2003, as part of the original Gold Line, then known as the "Pasadena Metro Blue Line" project. This station and all the other original and Foothill Extension stations will be part of the A Line upon completion of the Regional Connector project in 2023. This station features the adjacent station art sculpture "Astride-Aside" (2003) by artist Michael Stutz. The station has a 122 space park and ride lot and there is a fee to park. The original South Pasadena station and freight depot, for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad, was demolished in 1954.
