Atlantic County Vocational School District

The Atlantic County Special Services School District is a special education public school district located in the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township, serving the educational needs of classified students ages 3 to 21 from Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its two schools had an enrollment of 411 students and 67.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.1:1.

The Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT) is a four-year countywide vocational public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades from Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Atlantic County Vocational School District. ACIT is located on a 58-acre (230,000 m2) campus in the Mays Landing area of Hamilton Township. The school was constructed in 1974 and underwent a major renovation in 1994 and 2009-2011.As of the 2020–21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,713 students and 140.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.2:1. There were 832 students (48.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 164 (9.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.Due to a recent influx of students attending the school, the freshmen are now located in the South Wing, a separate building located behind the main campus that runs parallel to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.The school offers eight Academy programs, six Career Technical programs, and the recently added Academy of Aviation Studies. Shared-time students attend vocational programs at ACIT for part of the day, while receiving their academic instruction at one of the public high schools in the county. As of the 2016-2017 school year, the Academy of Aviation Studies was introduced and students in the program are bused to Atlantic Cape Community College daily. The students in the Aviation program are taught regular high school courses, along with the Academy. ACIT has articulation agreements with Atlantic Cape Community College, allowing students in certain programs to earn as many as 15 college credits for courses taken at ACIT. The school has a similar partnership with Camden County College for students in the dental assistant program.

The Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District is a regional public high school district in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. The district serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from the constituent municipalities of Egg Harbor City, Galloway Township, Hamilton Township and Mullica Township, together with the districts of the City of Port Republic and Washington Township (in Burlington County) who attend as part of sending/receiving relationships.As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of three schools, had an enrollment of 3,082 students and 264.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.7:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. Oakcrest High School is a comprehensive four-year public high school located in Hamilton Township, in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. The school is part of the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District, which includes three secondary schools that serve students from Egg Harbor City, Galloway Township, Hamilton Township and Mullica Township, together with students from Port Republic and Washington Township (in Burlington County) who attend as part of sending/receiving relationships.The school serves students from Hamilton Township, though students from elsewhere in the district are eligible to apply to attend magnet programs hosted at Oakcrest. With the opening of Cedar Creek High School in Egg Harbor City in 2010, students from Mullica Township, Port Republic and Washington Township no longer attend Oakcrest High School.As of the 2020–21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 937 students and 88.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.6:1. It is owned by Atlantic Cape Community College, with staff running daily behind-the-scenes operations. Live programming is produced and presented entirely by current student volunteers.

Atlantic Cape Community College is a public community college in Atlantic County and Cape May County in New Jersey. Atlantic Cape enrolls more than 6,000 students. Mays Landing is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Hamilton Township, Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. At the 2010 U.S. census, May's Landing's population was 2,135. It is the county seat of Atlantic County.

The Samuel Richards Hotel, also known as the American Hotel, is located at 106 East Main Street in the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. The sandstone building was built in 1837 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 31, 1979, for its significance in architecture, commerce, community planning, law, politics, and social history. The hotel was added as a contributing property to the Mays Landing Historic District in 1990.

The historic 1838 Atlantic County Courthouse is located at 5901 Main Street in Mays Landing, the county seat of Atlantic County, in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, United States.

Mays Landing Presbyterian Church is a historic church built in 1841 and located at Main Street and Cape May Avenue in the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. It was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) in 1938 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 20, 1982, for its significance in architecture and religion. The church was added as a contributing property to the Mays Landing Historic District in 1990.

Belcoville Post Office is located in the Belcoville section of Weymouth Township, Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1918 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 14, 2008.
