The school is part of the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District, which includes three secondary schools that serve students from Egg Harbor City, Galloway Township, Hamilton Township and Mullica Township, together with students from Port Republic and Washington Township (in Burlington County) who attend as part of sending/receiving relationships.The school serves students from Hamilton Township, though students from elsewhere in the district are eligible to apply to attend magnet programs hosted at Oakcrest. With the opening of Cedar Creek High School in Egg Harbor City in 2010, students from Mullica Township, Port Republic and Washington Township no longer attend Oakcrest High School.As of the 2020–21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 937 students and 88.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.6:1. Atlantic Cape Community College is a public community college in Atlantic County and Cape May County in New Jersey. Atlantic Cape enrolls more than 6,000 students. Mays Landing is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Hamilton Township, Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. At the 2010 U.S. census, May's Landing's population was 2,135. It is the county seat of Atlantic County.

The Samuel Richards Hotel, also known as the American Hotel, is located at 106 East Main Street in the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. The sandstone building was built in 1837 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 31, 1979, for its significance in architecture, commerce, community planning, law, politics, and social history. The hotel was added as a contributing property to the Mays Landing Historic District in 1990.

The historic 1838 Atlantic County Courthouse is located at 5901 Main Street in Mays Landing, the county seat of Atlantic County, in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, United States.

Mays Landing Presbyterian Church is a historic church built in 1841 and located at Main Street and Cape May Avenue in the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. It was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) in 1938 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 20, 1982, for its significance in architecture and religion. The church was added as a contributing property to the Mays Landing Historic District in 1990.

Belcoville Post Office is located in the Belcoville section of Weymouth Township, Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1918 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 14, 2008.
