Pentre Gwynfryn

Capel Salem is a Grade II listed building in the hamlet of Pentre Gwynfryn, near Llanbedr, Gwynedd, Wales. This Baptist chapel building is located about a mile up river of Llanbedr, on a ridge between the two valleys. It is just 300 yards (270 m) upstream from where the two rivers meet. The building was begun in 1826 and completed in 1851 but ten years later, it was extended to include the chapel house and to remodel the interior.

The River Cwmnantcol (Afon Cwmnantcol in Welsh) is a river in North Wales. It is about 3 miles (5 kilometres) long and has its source at the head of Cwm Nantcol below Rhinog Fawr and Y Llethr. It flows north-west from its source and joins the Afon Artro at Pentre Gwynfryn.

From 22 June 2020, trains did not call at the station due to the short platform and the inability to maintain social distancing between passengers and the guard when opening the train door. This meant that, in the Office of Rail and Road's statistics, it became one of Britain's least used stations, recording no passengers in the year 2020–21. However, the station has since reopened according to Transport for Wales, the train operator which provides services to and from the station.

Pensarn (or Pen-sarn) is a small village in the Ardudwy area of Gwynedd, Wales. It is situated on the coastal road between Llanbedr and Harlech. There is an unstaffed halt on the Cambrian Coast Railway and the Christian Mountain Centre (CMC) which is housed in the old Pensarn Wharf buildings.

It has a population of 474, reducing to 453 at the 2011 census.The village of Llanfair is situated to the east of the A496 coastal road between Llanbedr and Harlech, and includes Llandanwg and Pensarn. The parish church of St Mair (St Mary), dating from the 12th century, was restored in the 19th century. It is a grade II* listed building.The Chwarel Hen slate quarry, which operated in the 19th and early 20th century, is situated close to the village and is open to the public.

Dyffryn Ardudwy (Welsh pronunciation: [ˌdəfrɨ̞n arˈdɨ̞duːɨ̯]; ) is a village, community and electoral ward in the Ardudwy area of Gwynedd, Wales. It comprises several small, almost conjoined, villages including Coed Ystumgwern, Llanenddwyn (), Llanddwywe, Talybont and Dyffryn Ardudwy. It is situated on the main A496 coast road between Harlech and Barmouth. The ward had a population of 1,540 according to the 2011 census.

The road passes through a diverse landscape, including the mountainous region of Blaenau Ffestiniog, two estuaries, and the Cambrian Coast.
