Lakewood Club is a village in Dalton Township of Muskegon County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,340 at the 2020 census.

Shivering Timbers is a wooden roller coaster located at Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon County, Michigan. It was developed and built by Custom Coasters International. Opened in May 1998, Shivering Timbers debuted for the park's 32nd year in operation and was a success. Construction for the ride began in 1997. The trains were made by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters. The ride's out and back layout is 5,383 feet (1,641 m) long, making it the fourth-longest wooden roller coaster in the world. The ride has been re-tracked by Martin & Vleminckx and Great Coasters International. Shivering Timbers is the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Michigan.

Wolverine Wildcat is a wooden roller coaster at Michigan's Adventure, an amusement park near Muskegon, Michigan. It first opened in 1988 before Cedar Fair purchased the park. It is located in Timbertown, near the Timbertown Railway Station. It was the commonly referred to as the most thrilling ride at Michigan's Adventure until Shivering Timbers was built in 1998. The ride has a double out and back layout that is loosely based on the former Wildcat at Coney Island. Wolverine Wildcat celebrated its 30th year at Michigan's Adventure in 2018, which was also Shivering Timbers' 20th anniversary and Thunderhawk's 10th anniversary. Although various amusement rides and other coasters had been added to the park, the introduction of this coaster signaled a move into the big leagues along with a name change from Deer Park Funland to Michigan's Adventure. The coaster was designed by Curtis D. Summers and built by the Dinn Corporation. It was the first new project for the duo Dinn & Summers, who would go on to build an additional nine coasters over the next four years. The coaster is now mainly worked on by Martin & Vleminckx through multiple reconstruction and retracking projects in order to smoothen it out and give a better total ride experience. Wolverine Wildcat is one of only two roller coasters at Michigan's Adventure with manual brakes. Brakes must be opened and closed with buttons. The only other roller coaster with manual brakes is Zach's Zoomer.

Corkscrew is a steel roller coaster at Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon, Michigan. It was manufactured by Arrow Dynamics. Corkscrew was the park's first roller coaster during the Deer Park days.

Michigan's Adventure is a 250-acre (1.0 km2) amusement park in Muskegon County, Michigan, about halfway between Muskegon and Whitehall. It is the largest amusement park in the state and has been owned and operated by Cedar Fair since 2001. As of 2022, Michigan's Adventure has 37 rides, more than any other park in the state. The park also includes an outdoor water park, WildWater Adventure. The park is headlined by seven roller coasters, including Shivering Timbers, a wooden coaster, and a suspended looping coaster, Thunderhawk.

Mad Mouse is a steel roller coaster located at Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon, Michigan. It was manufactured by Arrow Dynamics. Mad Mouse was the park's third steel roller coaster Woodstock Express (then known as Big Dipper) also opened the same year). Mad Mouse has orange track, a red lift hill, and yellow supports as of a 2022 repaint. It is also the tallest wild mouse roller coaster. The coaster was built on a location within the park that was previously used as the park's main entrance.

Woodstock Express is a steel roller coaster at Michigan's Adventure near Muskegon, Michigan. It was manufactured by Chance Rides and is operated by Cedar Fair. It is a family coaster aimed at smaller children. The minimum height is 36 inches, with a parent. The roller coaster was originally named Big Dipper and was a part of a large upgrade to the entrance of the park. During this same year, new entrance turnstiles were installed, a new gate was constructed, Mad Mouse was built, and new buildings were constructed.In 2020, the Big Dipper was to be relocated to the Camp Snoopy section of the park, and was to be renamed the Woodstock Express. It reopened in 2021.

Zach's Zoomer is a wooden roller coaster at Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon, Michigan. Zach's Zoomer was manufactured by Custom Coasters International. It opened in 1994 and is targeted toward younger audiences. Zach's Zoomer was named after Roger Jourden's grandson and current General Manager Camille Jourden-Mark's son, Zach Mark. The roller coaster is a family coaster and is designed to be the first step to the larger coasters. It doesn't have sudden drops or high speeds. It is one of three wooden roller coasters in the park and is an ACE Coaster Classic.The layout is the same as the old John Allen-designed kiddie wooden coasters like Woodstock Express at sister parks Kings Island, Kings Dominion, and Carowinds. Zach's Zoomer is one of only two roller coasters at Michigan's Adventure with manual brakes. Brakes must be opened and closed with buttons. The only other roller coaster with manual brakes is the Wolverine Wildcat.

Twin Lake is an unincorporated community in Muskegon County of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a census-designated place (CDP) for statistical purposes. Local government services are provided by Dalton Township. As of the 2020 census, the population of the CDP was 2,056. The surrounding area is the home of Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, the YMCA's Camp Pinewood, and the Boy Scouts' Gerber Scout Reservation and Owasippe Scout Reservation.

WVIB (100.1 FM, "V100") is a radio station broadcasting an urban adult contemporary format fed via satellite from Westwood One (known as "The Touch" or "Today's R&B and Old School"). The station is licensed to Holton, Michigan and serves the Muskegon market. It can be heard as far south as Allendale, Michigan, as far east as Lakeview, Michigan, and as far north as Ludington, Michigan. However, its range is limited by WBCH to the southeast and WSJP-FM to the west.
