Excalibur (Valleyfair)

Renegade is a wooden roller coaster at Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota, that was designed by Great Coasters International. It was one of the first coasters built by Great Coasters International to use their Millennium Flyer trains, which are designed to give a smoother ride. Renegade's layout is a combination of an out-and-back and a twister roller coaster.

Mad Mouse is a steel wild mouse roller coaster located at Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota, U.S. It was manufactured by Arrow Dynamics and opened on May 8, 1999 as a replacement for the similar coaster Rails, which was eventually moved to Jolly Roger Amusement Park in Maryland in 1998. The ride's track and supports were designed by Ride Centerline.

Wild Thing is a hypercoaster located at Valleyfair. It is an out and back roller coaster with more than one mile (1.6 km) of track. Its first hill is 207 feet (63 m) with a 60 degree drop, and the roller coaster reaches speeds of up to 74 mph (119 km/h). Wild Thing's height was set by the Federal Aviation Administration due to the nearby presence of Flying Cloud Airport. Designed and manufactured by D. H. Morgan Manufacturing, it was the first hypercoaster to be built by the company, opening in 1996. It was the 5th tallest coaster in the world when it opened. The ride's success led to the construction of Steel Force at Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1997 and Mamba at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri the next year.

Cosmic Coaster is a steel junior roller coaster at Valleyfair. The ride was originally known as Dragon Coaster when it was located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1986 and operated from 1992 through the 2010 season. After 2010, the Dragon Coaster was removed along with the other children's rides in near the former Laser site. Dragon Coaster was moved to Valleyfair where it has operated since 2011 as Cosmic Coaster.Cosmic Coaster has a single train with four cars. Each car has two rows of two seats each for a total of 16 passengers.

High Roller is a wooden roller coaster located at Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota. High Roller is Valleyfair's oldest roller coaster, being built in 1976 when the park opened. It is an out-and-back type coaster, and is 70 feet (21 m) at the highest peak with a top speed of 50 mph (80 km/h). It is a common misperception that High Roller is really the Cyclone from nearby Excelsior Amusement Park, which closed a few years before Valleyfair opened. However, this is not the case. While High Roller bears some similarities to Cyclone, it was a brand new ride in 1976, and Cyclone was demolished when the Excelsior park closed.

Mild Thing was a junior roller coaster at the Valleyfair amusement park in Shakopee, Minnesota. Mild Thing opened in 1976 as Mine Train. At some later point, the ride's name was changed to Kiddie Coaster, under which the ride was operated under until 1996. With the opening of the new hypercoaster Wild Thing, the ride's name was changed to Mild Thing, as a play on words. Mild Thing ceased operation after the 2010 operating season and was replaced by Cosmic Coaster.

Xtreme Swing is a thrill ride located at Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Corkscrew is a steel roller coaster at Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota, featuring one vertical loop and two corkscrews. Built in 1980, Corkscrew was planned to reflect the design of its sister roller coaster Corkscrew at Cedar Point. It is notably one of the first roller coasters to feature a double corkscrew, as well as a vertical loop. The main differences that the Valleyfair model has is the addition of a finale helix and the omission of the camelback before the loop. Until the hypercoaster Wild Thing (the fifth highest and fastest roller coaster in the world at the time it opened in 1996), Corkscrew was the only outdoor all-steel roller coaster in Minnesota. Corkscrew is currently the only roller coaster at Valleyfair with inversions. The coaster's track was painted blue when it opened in 1980, but was repainted orange and yellow in 2011.

Valleyfair is a 125-acre (51 ha) amusement park in Shakopee, Minnesota, United States. Owned by Cedar Fair, the park opened in 1976 and now features over 75 rides and attractions including eight roller coasters. Valleyfair also has a water park called Soak City which is included with the price of admission. Cedar Point and Valleyfair were the first two parks in the Cedar Fair chain (although Cedar Point Amusement Park originally opened in 1870) and a combination of the park names – "cedar" and "fair" – were used to name the company.

Steel Venom is an inverted launched roller coaster located at Valleyfair amusement park in Shakopee, Minnesota, United States. The Impulse Coaster model from Intamin, which opened in 2003, reaches a height of 185 feet (56 m) and a maximum speed of 68 mph (109 km/h).

Soak City is an outdoor water park in Shakopee, Minnesota, United States, within the Valleyfair amusement park, and owned by Cedar Fair. It is included with the price of admission to the park.

Canterbury Park (Nasdaq: CPHC) (formerly Canterbury Downs), is a horse racing track in Shakopee, Minnesota, United States. Canterbury Park Holding Corporation ("Canterbury Park") hosts parimutuel wagering on live thoroughbred and quarter horse racing at its facilities in Shakopee and parimutuel wagering on races held at out-of-state racetracks that are simulcast to the racetrack. In addition, the Canterbury Park Card Casino operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is also regulated by the Minnesota Racing Commission. Casino games include blackjack, baccarat, Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em, and poker. Canterbury Park also derives revenue from related services and activities, such as concessions, parking, admissions, and programs, and from other entertainment events held at the racetrack. Furthermore, Canterbury Park is pursuing a strategy to enhance shareholder value by developing approximately 140 acres of underutilized land surrounding the racetrack in a project known as Canterbury Commons. The company is pursuing several mixed-use development opportunities for the underutilized land, directly and through joint ventures.Canterbury Park hosted the Claiming Crown of horseracing for 10 of its first 12 years of existence, through 2010. The inaugural Mystic Lake Derby, offering the largest purse at the track since 1991, was run on July 28, 2012. The race was won by the 3-year-old Hammers Terror in a time of 1:37.18 over the one-mile turf event.A two-week series of poker tournaments, Fall Poker Classic, is held each fall at Canterbury Park.
