East Kentwood High School (EKHS) is a public high school located just outside the city of Kentwood, Michigan, United States. It is part of the Kentwood Public Schools district, working together with the Crossroads High School, an alternative learning center.

Gaines Charter Township is a charter township of Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 25,146 at the 2010 census. The township is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area and is located about 3.0 miles (4.8 km) south of the city of Grand Rapids.

The Chief Executive Officer and President is Dr. Mark Eastburg, appointed December, 2006.Pine Rest is one of the five largest free-standing behavioral health providers in the U.S., offering services including addiction treatment and recovery, extensive child and adolescent programs, postpartum and other perinatal mood disorder treatment, senior care services, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy (TMS). In addition to the main campus in Grand Rapids, Pine Rest also has just under 20 outpatient locations throughout Michigan and two in Iowa. Pine Rest's inpatient hospitalization program is licensed for 200 beds, with residential services for adolescent boys and girls; older adults coping with dementia; those needing addiction services; those in need of sub-acute detoxification program services; and developmentally disabled persons. Pine Rest seeks to incorporate faith and healing into the care of patients: it has an active chaplain service to offer spiritual care to the patients. In addition, Clinical Pastoral Education is offered through Pine Rest.

Cutlerville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 14,370 at the 2010 census. The community is located mostly within Byron Township to the west with a smaller portion within Gaines Township to the east.The community is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area and is about 3.0 miles (4.8 km) south of the city of Grand Rapids.

South Christian High School (SCHS) is a private Christian high school in Byron Center, Michigan. It offers classes from the 9th through 12th grade. SCHS is affiliated with Moline Christian School, Byron Center Christian School, Dutton Christian School, Legacy Christian School, all of which provide K-8 Education. They currently compete in the OK Gold Conference in sports.

West Michigan Lutheran High School is a Lutheran high school in Wyoming, Michigan, United States. It was started in the fall of 2004 with 10 students who were freshmen and sophomores. Its first location was in the Ministry Center Building of St. Mark Lutheran Church of Kentwood, Michigan. In the spring of 2007, WMLHS held its first graduation.

Woodland Mall is an enclosed super-regional shopping mall located in Kentwood, Michigan, a suburb of Grand Rapids. It comprises over 100 tenants in 1,158,942 square feet (107,669.2 m2) of retail space, with three anchor stores (Macy's, JCPenney, and Von Maur), along with Barnes & Noble (which is the largest non-anchor store in the mall), Forever 21, H&M, Pottery Barn, and The North Face as junior anchors. It formerly housed a movie theater which opened as Cinemark, was purchased by Celebration Cinema and subsequently closed in 2020. The mall is owned and managed by Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, who acquired it from its developer, Taubman Centers, in 2006.
