The Surratt House (also known as the Mary Surratt House and the Surratt House Museum) is a historic house and house museum located at 9110 Brandywine Road in Clinton (formerly Surrattsville), Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The house is named for John and Mary Surratt, who built it in 1852. Mary Surratt was hanged in 1865 for being a co-conspirator in the Abraham Lincoln assassination. It was acquired by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) in 1965, restored, and opened to the public as a museum in 1976.

Surrattsville High School or SHS is a public high school located in Clinton, Maryland, United States and is a part of the Prince George's County Public School System in Prince George's County, Maryland. Surrattsville was the town of Clinton's original name, taken from Mary Surratt and her family, who once owned the property on which the school now stands.

Delman L. Coates (born January 13, 1973) is an American Christian minister. He is senior pastor of Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, a megachurch located in Clinton, Maryland, since 2004.Coates is founder of the Our Money Campaign, an economic justice campaign launched in May 2019. He is founder of the Black Church Center for Justice & Equality. Coates is a board member of the National Action Network.

Washington Executive Airport (FAA LID: W32), also known as Washington Executive Airpark or Hyde Field, was a public use general aviation airport located 2 miles (3.2 km) southwest of the central business district (CBD) of Clinton, in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The airport ceased operations on November 30, 2022, following a bankruptcy sale of the property. Hyde Field was one of the "Maryland 3" airports located within the Washington, D.C. Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ), so it was subject to the Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) restrictions. It is located just 1.10 nautical miles (1.27 mi) east of a slightly smaller airport called Potomac Airfield.

Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center is a United States Air Force medical treatment facility located on Joint Base Andrews Maryland and operated by the 11th Medical Group. The original facility designated U.S.A.F. Hospital Andrews opened in 1958 and was redesignated Malcolm Grow U.S.A.F. Medical Center in 1962. It is named after Major General (Dr.) Malcolm C. Grow, the first Surgeon General of the United States Air Force.

Wyoming is a frame historic house located in Clinton in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. It consists of three separate and distinct sections: the main block built in the third quarter of the 18th century, a ca. 1800 kitchen, and a connecting two-bay section of c. 1850. The house is a well-preserved example of Maryland's gambrel-roofed colonial architecture, and is more specifically noteworthy as an excellent example of southern Maryland tidewater architecture. With the exception of Mt. Pleasant, the house may have the oldest boxwood in the county planted on its grounds.Wyoming is also significant historically as the ancestral home of the Marburys, a family which produced many of Maryland's political, professional, and judicial leaders through the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. The house has been continuously owned by members of the family from its construction c. 1750 until 1973. A small Marbury family cemetery is located south of the main house in a grove of trees. This includes a large obelisk dedicated to Catharine Taylor Marbury, the wife of Fendall Marbury, who died in 1866. Wyoming is also notable for its great planting of boxwood, forming a walkway leading to the front of the house.Wyoming was part of an original land grant known as Appledore, patented by Robert Middleton in 1688. Appledore is seen as #9 on the map of Tracts of the Lower Piscataway Hundred before April 23, 1696. The name "Wyoming", according to the Marbury family history, was chosen by a daughter of the family (Cora Marbury) after a favorite poem, "Gertrude of Wyoming", written by Thomas Campbell in 1809. The poem deals with a famous Indian massacre in the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania, and was a favorite of Cora's.

Crossland High School is a public secondary school located in Camp Springs census-designated place, unincorporated Prince George's County, Maryland, with Temple Hills postal address. The school serves about 2,000 students in grades 9 to 12 in the Prince George's County Public Schools system. Crossland is named after a prominent early Maryland family. The vocational wing was dedicated by President Lyndon Baines Johnson in 1967. Crossland serves: much of Camp Springs CDP, all of Temple Hill CDP, and portions of Hillcrest Heights, Marlow Heights, Oxon Hill, and Silver Hill CDPs.

Camp Springs is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 22,734 at the 2020 census. Camp Springs is not an official post office designation; the area is divided among the surrounding mailing addresses of Temple Hills, Fort Washington, Clinton, and Suitland.

Joint Base Andrews (JBA) is a United States military facility located in Prince George's County, Maryland. The facility is under the jurisdiction of the United States Air Force 316th Wing, Air Force District of Washington (AFDW). The base was established in 2009, when Andrews Air Force Base and Naval Air Facility Washington were merged. The base is named for Lieutenant General Frank Maxwell Andrews (1884–1943), former Commanding General of United States Armed Forces in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. The base is widely known for serving as the home base of two Boeing VC-25 aircraft which have the call sign Air Force One while the President of the United States is on board.The host at Andrews is the 316th Wing, assigned to the Air Force District of Washington, which is also headquartered at Andrews. The 316th Wing is responsible for maintaining emergency reaction rotary-wing airlift and other National Capital Region contingency response capabilities critical to national security, and for organizing, training, equipping and deploying combat-ready forces for Air and Space Expeditionary Forces (AEFs). Three other wings at Andrews are the reserve 459th Air Refueling Wing, Air National Guard's 113th Wing and active duty 89th Airlift Wing.

It is responsible for maintaining emergency reaction rotary-wing airlift and other National Capital Region contingency response capabilities critical to national security and for organizing, training, equipping and deploying combat-ready forces for Air and Space Expeditionary Forces (AEFs). The 316th Wing also provides installation security, services and airfield management to support the President, Vice President, other U.S. senior leaders and more than 50 tenant organizations and federal agencies. The 316th Wing provides security, personnel, contracting, finance and infrastructure support for five wings, three headquarters, more than 80 tenant organizations, 148 geographically separated units, and 6,500 airmen in the Pentagon, as well as 60,000 airmen and families in the national capital region and around the world. The 316th Wing supports contingency operations in the capital of the United States with immediate response rotary-assets. It also provides security for the world's highest visibility flight line and is responsible for ceremonial support with the United States Air Force Band, Honor Guard and Air Force Arlington Chaplaincy.The wing commander is Colonel Tyler R. Schaff, and the command chief master sergeant is Chief Master Sergeant Thomas C. Daniels.

Naval Air Facility Washington or NAF Washington is a United States Naval Reserve installation located near Camp Springs, Maryland in the United States of America. The facility was established at Andrews Air Force Base in 1958. As part of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) program, it merged with Andrews Air Force Base in 2009, to create Joint Base Andrews-Naval Air Facility Washington.
