Woodlands is a historic home located at Perryville, Cecil County, Maryland, United States. It appears to have been constructed in two principal periods: the original 2+1⁄2-story section built between 1810 and 1820 of stuccoed stone and a 1+1⁄2-story rear kitchen wing; and two bays of stuccoed brick, with double parlors on the first story, and a one-story, glazed conservatory constructed between 1840 and 1850. The home features Greek Revival details. Also on the property are a 2-story stone smokehouse and tenant house, a small frame barn and corn house, a square frame privy with pyramidal roof, a carriage house, frame garage, and a large frame bank barn.Woodlands was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.Significance: Woodlands is the estate and ancestral home of the Coudon family. The main dwelling house and adjoining outbuildings are situated on a hill overlooking the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay. The house has lovely grounds, with landscaped gardens, boxwoods, and several old trees of merit. The mansion is one of the most important 19th century buildings in Cecil County. The house has endured moderate alterations, but still portrays pre-Civil War times more like the antebellum South than a border state. The Greek Revival period of the house is without equal in Cecil County. Another important feature of the property is the large number of original outbuildings still intact and continuing to perform as part of a working farm. The Coudon family has been an important family in Cecil County, particularly in the field of religion. The Reverend Joseph Coudon, father of the first Coudon to own Woodlands, served as rector to St. Mary Anne's Church in nearby North East, Maryland, from 1787 to 1792. The family has continued to worship at and support this church through the years. Joseph Coudon, Jr.'s son married the daughter of George P. Whitaker, owner of Principio Furnace, which created early ties between the two historic properties. Due to the long occupancy of Woodlands, a large amount of furniture and artwork have accumulated within the house.

Perryville is a passenger rail station in Perryville, Maryland, served by MARC's Penn Line. The station is located on the southern part of the Northeast Corridor, between the Newark, DE and Aberdeen, MD stations. Although Amtrak does not regularly serve the station, a single Amtrak train—Northeast Regional No. 111—stops at Perryville to board MARC ticket holders traveling south. The station is also the northernmost in the MARC system and the terminus for the Penn Line.

Perryville High School is a public secondary school in Perryville, Maryland, United States. The school is operated by Cecil County Public Schools. Enrollment for 2015 is reported as 810 students.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located at 175 St. Marks Church Road in Perryville, Cecil County, Maryland, and the parish church for Susquehanna Parish in the Diocese of Maryland. There are several 19th century burials in its cemetery including that of Maryland congressman George Gale

Rodgers Tavern, also known as Stevenson's Tavern, is a historic hotel located at Perryville, Cecil County, Maryland, United States. It is a mid-18th-century, two-story stone structure with a basement. All rooms have corner fireplaces. It was frequently visited by George Washington between the years 1755 and 1798, when it was owned and operated as an inn and tavern by Colonel John Rodgers (1728–1791). He was the father of John Rodgers (1772–1838), U.S. naval officer. During the 1880s the house was divided into two halves, east and west.Rodgers Tavern was listed on the National Register of Historic Places during 1972.

Perry Point is an unincorporated community in Cecil County, Maryland, United States. Perry Point is located on the east bank of the Susquehanna River south of Perryville and north of the river's mouth into the Chesapeake Bay.

The CSX Susquehanna River Bridge is a railroad bridge that carries CSX's Philadelphia Subdivision across the Susquehanna River between Havre de Grace and Perryville, Maryland, via Garrett Island. It was built in 1907-10 by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (B&O) on the same alignment as an 1886 B&O bridge. Like its predecessor, it was the longest continuous bridge on the B&O system.: 43, 105 

The Perry Point Mansion House and grist Mill is a national historic district at Perry Point, Cecil County, Maryland, United States. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, center-passage brick house covered with gray stucco. The 30 foot by 20 foot, stone grist mill is built into a river bank and is two to three stories high. Both structures were built about 1750. Since the end of World War I when the property was acquired by the Federal government, Perry Point has been used as a rehabilitation center, a supply depot, and a psychiatric hospital, the latter use surviving and expanding to the present.The Perry Point Mansion House and Mill was added to the National Register of Historic Places during 1975.As of 1/1/2014 GSA as the agent for the VA is seeking a contractor to renovate the Mansion House and Grist Mill.

Garrett Island is an island located in Cecil County, Maryland, 1.8 miles (2.9 km) from the mouth of the Susquehanna River, directly west of Perryville and north of Havre de Grace. It is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as part of the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. The island is crossed by the CSX Susquehanna River Bridge on the north side and the Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge on the south side.

The Amtrak Susquehanna River Bridge is a Howe deck truss structure that carries two tracks of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor line across the Susquehanna River between Havre de Grace and Perryville, Maryland.

Hollywood Casino Perryville is a casino in Perryville, Maryland, owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties (GLP) and operated by Penn Entertainment. It was the first casino to open in the state on September 17, 2010. It has a gaming floor of 75,000 sq ft (7,000 m2), with over 1,500 slot machines. It also offers table games such as blackjack, craps, and roulette. There is a 10 table poker room near the casino's entrance. Hollywood Casino Perryville competes with casinos in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Atlantic City. Penn National Gaming (now Penn Entertainment) purchased the casino's operating business from GLP in 2021 for $31 million, and leased the property from GLP for $7.8 million per year. Penn National bought the casino in hopes of entering the online betting market in Maryland, where voters had legalized sports betting in 2020.
