Antelope Center is an unincorporated community in the Antelope Valley of the western Mojave Desert, in northern Los Angeles County, California.It lies at an elevation of 2,684 ft 0 in (818 m).

Littlerock High School is a public, co-educational high school built in 1989. It is located in Littlerock, California, United States. The school serves Littlerock and the surrounding communities of Lake Los Angeles, Pearblossom, and Llano. It is part of the Antelope Valley Union High School District (AVHSD). Littlerock High School is designated as a Title I school.

According to the Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance report of 2009, the Palmdale / Lancaster urban area has a population of 483,998, which Littlerock is a part of.Littlerock is named after the Little Rock Wash that passes through the area and is known as "The Fruit Basket of the Antelope Valley." There were orchards of fruit trees such as almonds, apples, peaches, and pears, along the side of the roads around Highway 138.

Knight High School is a four-year public high school located in Palmdale, California and is part of the Antelope Valley Union High School District. Knight High was the 7th general education school to join the district. The high school opened its doors to freshmen in August 2003 and these same freshmen were the first class to graduate, graduating on May 31, 2007. The high school was named after test pilot and politician William J. "Pete" Knight. The school has received much recognition for its band program which has placed first in many events. Knight High School has an approximate enrollment of 3,100 students.

Los Angeles County Raceway (or "LACR") was a motorsport facility in Palmdale, California. LACR's main feature was its 1/4-mile dragstrip, which was first opened in 1964. LACR held its final event on July 29, 2007. The land under the track is owned by Granite Construction, Inc.

Little Rock Dam, also known as Littlerock Dam, or officially as Little Rock-Palmdale Dam, is a concrete gravity dam on Little Rock Creek in Los Angeles County, California, about 5 mi (8.0 km) south of Palmdale. The dam and Little Rock Reservoir are owned by the Palmdale Water District and Littlerock Creek Irrigation District and are used for agricultural and municipal water supply and flood control.The dam is 124 ft (38 m) high from foundation to crest and spans 576 ft (176 m) across the canyon, forming a reservoir with a capacity of 3,700 acre⋅ft (4,600,000 m3). The reservoir has a surface area of 108 acres (44 ha) and receives water from a drainage area of 63.7 sq mi (165 km2) on the north slope of the San Gabriel Mountains. A formerly popular recreation spot, the dam, reservoir, and vicinity used to receive about 300,000 visitors each year, but since 2015, the facilities have been closed to the public.Designed by John S. Eastwood, a noted engineer of several dams in the western U.S., Littlerock was built in 1924 by the Palmdale Irrigation District (now Palmdale Water District) to provide a water supply for orchards in the area. With a height of 112 ft (34 m) and holding 2,400 acre⋅ft (3,000,000 m3) of water, it was the tallest multiple-arch reinforced concrete dam in the world at the time. The dam's design combined with its record height was highly controversial; the state mandated renovations in 1932, in which concrete buttresses were added to the dam face. In 1938, the dam nearly failed as a result of historic flooding, which led to the evacuation of hundreds of people in downstream towns. The dam was renovated again in 1966 to comply with increasing safety standards and regional urban development. In the 1970s, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).In 1994, the last major renovation of the dam was completed, which involved strengthening the face with roller-compacted concrete, hiding the original multiple-arch design and transforming it to resemble a conventional gravity dam. The arches are still visible on the back face of the dam when the water level in the reservoir is low. The design changes resulted in the dam being taken off the NRHP. The dam was also raised 12 ft (3.7 m) and a new spillway added, increasing the reservoir capacity to its current 3,700 acre⋅ft (4,600,000 m3).The dam and reservoir are scheduled for a major renovation project in three separate phases. The first phase begins with construction of a subterranean grade control structure within Littlerock Reservoir at Rocky Point. The second phase is the removal of 1,165,000 cubic yards (891,000 m3) of accumulated sediment from within the reservoir over a seven- to twelve-year time frame. Finally, scheduled ongoing sediment removal of approximately 38,000 cubic yards (29,000 m3) per year to maintain design capacity. There are no plans to reopen its facilities to the public.The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has developed a safe eating advisory for Little Rock Reservoir based on levels of mercury or PCBs found in fish caught from this water body.

Dry Town Water Park is a waterpark located in Palmdale, California that opens each year from the Memorial Day weekend in May through Labor Day in September. The park features a 35-foot tower structure that holds three waterslides with a three foot deep splashdown pool, a second tower structure that holds a four-lane racer slide, a 6,000 square foot children's water playground with three slides, spray features, and a giant overhead splash bucket, and a 925-foot lazy river that winds around the center of the park.

Little Rock Creek is a 16.7-mile (26.9 km) northwestward-flowing stream in the San Gabriel Mountains and Mojave Desert, within northern Los Angeles County, California. Its headwaters are in the Angeles National Forest, just west of Mount Williamson peak. Downstream the creek enters Little Rock Reservoir, impounded by Little Rock Dam. After released there it flows through Little Rock Wash into the Antelope Valley of the western Mojave Desert.The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment has issued a safe eating advisory for any fish caught in Little Rock Reservoir due to elevated levels of mercury and PCBs.

Located adjacent to United States Air Force Plant 42 and the Palmdale Regional Airport, it is one of 22 Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC) operated by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Los Angeles ARTCC controls en route air traffic over southern and central California, southern Nevada, southwestern Utah, western Arizona, and portions of the Pacific Ocean Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), with the exception of military airspace and lower-level airspace controlled by local airport towers and Terminal Control Centers (TRACON).

The Joe Davies Heritage Airpark, formerly known as the Palmdale Plant 42 Heritage Airpark is an aviation museum and airpark located in Palmdale, California with various United States military aircraft on display. The park is located adjacent to the United States Air Force Plant 42 and the Blackbird Airpark Museum. All of the aircraft on display were donated or loaned to the city of Palmdale, which owns and operates the park.

The Scaled Composites Triumph is a twin-engine, business jet prototype designed and built by Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites for Beechcraft. It was known officially as the Model 143, and internally at Scaled as the "Tuna". The aircraft is a three lifting surface design, with both a small canard, and a small conventional horizontal stabilizer in a T-tail configuration.
